Dr. Tipton presents Jesus Christ as the "mountain ascending mediator" and the promised seed of the woman from Genesis 3:15. Dr. Tipton argues that God's plan for redemption is framed by the concept of a holy mountain dwelling, beginning with heaven itself and its earthly counterpart, the Garden of Eden. After Adam's fall and subsequent exile from the holy mountain, God announced the first promise of the gospel—that the seed of the woman would crush the serpent's head.
