The original Countach was the supercar all petrol heads had a poster of in the 1970s. 50 years later Lamborghini have created a new version, with some electricity thrown in. It costs £2.1m, only 112 will ever be made and all are sold. Nevertheless, Fifth Gear has been allowed a day with Lambo’s own demo car - the only UK TV production to be granted this privilege. We pick up the keys in a Kielder Forest layby and head off for the day. All the cars will end up in museums and private collections, so this is probably the first, and last, time the car will be seen on UK roads again.
