Held around the downtown square, this show brings together big rigs, local businesses, families, live entertainment, and a whole lot of heart.
In this interview, James and Tiffany talk about what makes Laid Back On I-55 special, from the walkable downtown setting with restaurants and bars nearby, to family-friendly stops like the gaming center and candy store. They also discuss the event’s growth, including expanded opportunities through The Warehouse.
One of the highlights is a Truck Rodeo, where drivers put their skills to the test on a challenging obstacle course. The show also features a convoy through town, with the top three auction winners leading the way past the Veterans Wall, followed by live evening entertainment.
Most importantly, Laid Back On I-55 supports a powerful mission. All proceeds are donated to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis, helping provide educational, physical, employment, and family support services throughout Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, and the Bootheel region.
