The Dog River Reservoir serves as a primary raw water storage for communities in Douglas County, GA. Growing demand for increased water supply and storage, along with changes to Georgia’s precipitation and hydrology models, necessitated a raise of the dam embankment and a redesign and relocation of the labyrinth spillway.
