Other than that nothing has changed.Anyway, this is an entire soundtrack full of remixes of songs from Shantae and the Seven Sirens, which was notably the first game in the Shantae series to not have Jake Kaufman as the composer for the game's soundtrack. Because of this, Seven Sirens' OST is radically different from that of the previous games.The goal of this fanmade soundtrack is to reimplement many of the melodies and leitmotifs introduced in previous games while also incorporating the new ideas Seven Sirens' OST had, as well as some ideas of my own. All of this was composed entirely in Deflemask, a program which allows the user to create music using the soundchips of retro video game systems.The "Genesis" in Shantae and the Seven Sirens Genesis reflects just that; The vast majority of the tracks featured here can be played back on a real Sega Genesis.
