I often say I ended up so involved with Geometry Dash entirely by a series of happy accidents, and I would say the most critical domino in the chain was my early 2.0 medium demon, Ebb. As much as I take issue nowadays with how I put it together, Ebb holds a very special place in my heart for a few reasons.
For starters, Ebb quite literally put me on the map. There was once a time when you only needed 24 creator points to hit the Top 100 leaderboard, and Ebb is what put me there, and the community paid attention to that at the time. Ebb itself caught people’s eye because of the funky asymmetrical duals; creators at the time had explored that here and there but it was especially strange to see it fitting into a medium demon. I’ve never been a KrmaL or a deffie who could get people talking with every new release; it was uncharacteristically rare for me to get to watch people really sink their teeth into this thing I had worked on and recognize my name in public spaces over it. Before I was Chambers guy, I was Ebb guy.
I owe a great part of that level’s success to long-revered community legend Michigun, who had published a YouTube video of it and showed it to more people at a time when no one had ever really heard of me. I did not have a following, did not promote the level in any way, and had no established connections with the community, so if it weren’t for him, Ebb would’ve likely gone on as just another weirdly named demon that nobody played. It took a few years after that video was published before I actually met Michi and talked to him, and we really didn’t talk that often, but what made his death so crushing for me at the time was that quiet understanding that I'd lost someone who had made such an impact on my life.
In my head it's always been Ebb and Flow since 2017, and when people invited Ebb into their hearts the way they did, I made the perhaps naive and unwise decision to promise that it'd get an official follow-up someday. Much to my surprise (and chagrin), Ebb is the one level from my early years that people tell me they still remember fondly, as it comes up for them in demon roulettes and casual searches. It means a lot to me that people still care about that level, which is why I knew if I ever followed up on that promise to make a sequel, I would really need to do it right.
I have tried to make this level three times. I still have an old Sawdust Angels layout from when I attempted Ebb 2 back in 2019/2020, and I abandoned it because the duals didn't feel good. I started what would be the final draft back in 2021, which means this level took four years to start and four years to finish. It hit me that this was the one when I happened upon that cube and ship dual with the green orbs; even though it's notably harder than the rest of the level, it finally felt like Ebb.
If you compare them side-by-side, nearly every part of Ebb has some sort of callback in Flow, from the colors, to the designs, to the pacing, to the title card, even down to the really intimidating mini-wave spam with no safe ground spots that used to be in the original Ebb before the several balancing updates. It's probably an upper-end hard demon, which is a fair bit harder than Ebb, but the people who grew up with Ebb are also older and better at the game now, likely with better hardware too.
I owe it to my buddies in the Spirit Day project we've been hosting for cheering me along to the finish line with this level (and for playtesting it). You'll probably be seeing some of their levels coming out today too! When we got this idea to make a bunch of levels in-line with the core spirit of what Geometry Dash means to us, it felt like the perfect opportunity to finally deliver on my promise even though I'm sure it will feel pretty old compared to the kinds of levels that come out nowadays. As a tribute to Ebb, a tribute to Michigun's honor, and a tribute to all of the people who have held space for Ebb in their hearts after all these years, I FINALLY have something that I'm genuinely proud to offer as its official spiritual successor.
Cheers to GD's 12th anniversary, to Michi's memory and long-lasting impact on our community, and to the 8 years of life you all have generously given to one of my oldest projects!

Having been around for the long haul in Geometry Dash, I’ve always found it particularly interesting how so many people seem to have such a unique affinity for 1.9. No other past update has a bustling private server community, and I constantly hear from creators and players alike that the game peaked in 1.9 and has been on the downhill run ever since. There are even people who didn’t play the game in 1.9 who still religiously swear by its legacy as the Golden Age of Geometry Dash. Maybe they're right, but this is really fascinating to me because out of all the updates I’ve been around for, 1.9 is by a long shot the update I’ve enjoyed the least. The levels were annoying, the lack of editor QOL features was inconvenient, the community was edgy, and unless you were part of one small friend group it was nearly impossible to get your work out there. While it’s quieted down gradually over the years, I’m still occasionally reminded that there are people who harbor resentment for 2.0 and 2.1 for bringing an end to the supposed glory of 1.9, whatever that means. Furthermore, there seems to be a fear looming over the community that 2.2 will also change the game so violently that it will kill all that we hold dear about the current state of the game.
One day, this idea occurred to me as a cheeky way to breathe life into this vitriol for the changes that 2.0 and 2.1 brought to the game and its conventions, and this overwhelming fear of moving on. Surely a little change isn’t gonna kill you.. but what if it did? Updatophobia explores a concept I’ve never even seen executed before: every feature implemented into the game after 1.9 kills you on contact. You can't touch any post-1.9 object, you can’t touch anything that isn’t 1.00x scale, you can’t touch custom backgrounds, you can’t touch any moving objects, you can’t play either of my favorite game modes, there’s no H, D, or J block gameplay, I didn’t even include any dual parts so that you couldn’t use a post-1.9 icon and then intersect with yourself. I put a lot of thought into it, but there’s still a lot that can be done with this concept that I didn’t explore or even think of, and I’d love to see what other people could do with this in the future.
As a disclaimer, I’ve taken some liberties for the sake of making this level a better experience for you to play, and for me to build. Here's what I DIDN'T do:
- I don’t punish you for touching objects colored with color 5 and beyond, because that’s not information you’re given while playing.
- I don’t punish you for touching objects that break 1.9’s uncustomizable preset-per-object Z-layering, because that just wouldn’t be fun to have to think about.
- I don’t punish you for touching any fully invisible object, because ew.
- I made the stylistic choice to only punish you for touching post-1.9 orbs if you click on them, so that it would sting harder when you fall for the fakes.
- Sometimes I used post-1.9 tricks for optimization's sake (i.e., pulse triggers instead of color triggers, alpha triggers on blending objects instead of making the color darker and copy pasting stuff on top of itself over and over to make it bright), because there’s no reason to waterboard our computers over indistinguishable technicalities.
My end goal was to make this a fun and practical experience for you as you explore this goofy gimmick with me, so I avoided doing anything that would make either of us tear our hair out. Well, tear our hair out too quickly, at least.
I'll fix the small layering errors I just now noticed in a future patch-fix when someone inevitably breaks it.

In spite of this, the audio used by the creator community in-game is dominated by massive talented artists who have very little involvement with the game itself, and this population of musical saplings, rooted in the GD community and flowering somewhere else, is largely underrepresented. My goal with this video, or perhaps this series, is to help change that.
Two weeks ago, I asked you to share some of your work with me on Twitter. This is what you showed me!
---------------------------------------
WARNING:
I talk a lot! There are four reasons for this:
1.) To point out the artists' compositional choices that are either unnoticeable to untrained ears or devoured by OBS's terrible compression
2.) To motivate you to go listen to the songs yourself so you don't have to listen to me
3.) To provide some feedback to the artists and help the community learn how to also do so literately with production lingo
4.) Because I'm a nerd and I can't help it!

I did my best to get through as much as I could, but alas, we only got through 21 of the 63 artists on the list, and 15 of them made it into the video! I'd love to keep making these to finish off the list, let me know if you want to see more!

Are you a new Geometry Dash player thinking about how this game might impact your life down the road? Are you a parent wondering what their child is getting themselves into? My answers will not be one-size-fits-all, but whatever you are looking for, I hope this gives you a better idea or understanding.
You tell me your story sometime! I'm all ears.
(Yes, the level is named Devestation, the real mistake was made six years ago, I'm merely embracing it this time.)

Happy birthday to developer RobTop, to the amazing creators and former moderators Fault and alkali, to Dustin, wherever you are now, and to me!
Unfortunately, if you're seeing this video and reading this description, then the surprise is already over. Allow me to fill you in:
On July 21st, 2021, a musician named Fluubah asked me on Discord to whitelist his Newgrounds work, and I started playing around in the editor with one of his songs. I had accidentally used nothing but 2x1 slopes for the first few seconds, and this became the challenge I accepted for the rest of the level. There are no flat solid objects in this level, nor are there solid 1x1 slopes. The few surfaces that appear flat are actually upside down 2x1 slopes, which have flat or pseudo-flat hitboxes on their backside.
At the time I started this, the creating community was at the peak of a self-proclaimed "experimental" trend that was in reality heavily derivative of the styles of para, Wav, and a few other level design influencers. A heavily mocked characteristic trope of this subset of levels was the heavy use of 2x1 slopes to throw the player around in a controlled way (i.e. Wav's level "Brainwash"). Partly to spite the people making fun of the movement and partly because it's just really funny to me, I opted to take the trope to the extreme. Because of this, while the level tries to be an overheated and disorienting experience like a proper hot flash should be, the name is also a nod to "Cold Sweat" (although the para level involved in sparking this trend was actually "Klutz").
So, the surprise. I had a conversation with wless on Twitter concerning the surprise drop of Retrograde by Codex in which I mentioned that I would love to see surprise drops happen more often, but that I am too slow of a builder and too antsy to compulsively share every bit of my progress to contribute to this cause. I loved the excitement of when someone like Codex or Hinds dropped a level out of complete nowhere, and I realized that this was my opportunity to give that a try! Over the five and a half months it took to build this, I told exactly six people about its existence. Five were extremely close friends who helped playtest and give feedback, and the other was Fluubah, who made the song.
(twitter.com/sirhadoken/status/1378461052988497927?s=20)
To egg it on even further, even after releasing the level, I went on about my day as though it didn't exist. No video, no promo, no announcement, no mention of it in public, no mention of it in private. The plan was to just drop it and then see how long it took for people to notice it was there. This is my first level since Flicker in October of 2020, so I was curious to see just how long it could fly under the radar. Alas, I realized I would have to upload a video at some point for people who would prefer to just watch and avoid playing the incessantly janky slope gameplay for themselves. So, if you're watching this, the level has already been out for a bit, people have noticed it's there, and the jig is up.
It's a pleasure to finally finish a project again, especially one that I had so much fun with! If anyone actually looks forward to these, I'm seriously sorry that I'm so slow.

Caught somewhere between a gift to the world and a plea for help, TMN narrates this level verbally and visually in a way that is passionately vulnerable, using the bones of his old projects and unrealized ideas to emphasize the impact of bottling up and suppressing these thoughts and feelings until the levees inevitably break, artfully glistening in the light all the way down. It's directionless and scatterbrained, but ultimately culminates to the same grand, incredibly crucial message: "here I stand in my own way."
Whether it be an occasional fleeting thought or an omnipresent anxiety, everyone at some point in their lives goes head to head with their own humanity and mortality. listlessly preoccupying ourselves with questions we're not even sure if we deserve the answer to. We constantly look at things from such a big picture that we find ourselves insignificantly small within it, and it raises the questions, "if I am so small, how can I ever be enough to fit in something so big?" and "how can I do anything meaningful when I'm only given one small instance of a lifetime?" As denoted by the momentary dissipation to nothingness in the middle of the level, this existential instability can be a point where scrutiny and unconstructive criticism is the hardest to swallow.
This level is a beautiful, brutally honest reflection of an existential crisis and a conflict of personal identity, all through the hauntingly familiar eyes of a Geometry Dash creator. I have insurmountable admiration for creators of any kind who are willing to be so openly vulnerable about their insecurities to go beyond their medium of art to make such a raw human statement.
AND it looks good.

Thank you so much!
I have been waiting on this level to get fixed for years so I could finally beat it, and after the impossible bug finally got patched, there was still another really prolific inconsistency in the dual right after. It was possible, but so unreliable and so late into the level that it may as well have been impossible anyway.

Contrary to what I say in the video about not having beaten 10 insane demons, Stalemate is actually my 11th insane demon, following Rebellion, Hyperchasm, Sonic Boom, Night Terrors, Sleepless, Psychosis, Windy Landscape, CONK, Lit Fuse, and Interstellar Infant, in that order.
Surprisingly, despite how laughably awful this level is by today's standards of both gameplay and design, it's the insane demon I've struggled with the least, although thanks to its memory sections and jank timings I'd consider only Psychosis to be easier out of the aforementioned 11 levels. The overly simplistic conventions of early 1.9 allow you to use the sparse present decoration as reference points for position-based memory, like the checkerboard wave at 25%, where I sought out individual squares based on their distance from the circle indicators. The last ball, however, takes that resource away from you, and isolates your pattern-and-sync-based memory in a way that was groundbreaking at the time of its release. While it has certainly aged past its prime, Stalemate is an eccentric, but iconic landmark in GD history.

There may be some mistakes since I did this from memory and since MSM's Composer Island features, while impressive, are still pretty limited. You can only use Natural monsters (the basic tier), there's no syncopation, some monsters have less than an octave of range (I don't think any of them have a full two octaves), and you can't preview what a monster sounds like before you spend gold on them.
I know it has nothing to do with GD but I spent way more time on it than I'd like to admit and have no other way to share this with the MSM community since otherwise they'd have to have me friended on Steam or happen upon my island by complete random chance.

I'm pretty pitiful at flying, so I found the ship parts to be ASTRONOMICALLY frustrating, but 54-100% (from the wave to the end) is some of the most fun I've ever had with the game. To put the balancing of the gameplay into perspective, I did my first 54-100% run in exactly 98 attempts. I have 1100 attempts on this level. In spite of that, the good thing is that the hardest parts are all at the beginning, namely the RNG hold ship at 8% and the Windy Landscape-esque portal-orb-straightfly combo at 23%. Dying at the beginning so many times can get on your nerves REALLY fast, but if you don't mind taking breaks, and ideally if you've beaten Windy Landscape, I HIGHLY recommend going for this as a step forward.

This is a fantastic level, don't get me wrong. It's certainly a GD experience unlike no other, although for me it was unfortunately a miserable one; one of my worst experiences with the game. I died at the drop 16 times live on Twitch yesterday; Halloween was all tricks and no treats this year. I died two more times at the drop on my second session with the level before I finally got good RNG.
I have the worst quality consistency on the face of the Earth; I'm not gonna lie, I didn't even know my microphone was on in the recording with the successful run, but I had no idea it would be that quiet, especially considering I am only a few inches away from it. An unpleasant surprise was that my quality still plummeted underground whenever anything on-screen moved, so all of my fail takes look like what my streams looked like when I was streaming from home.

It feels SO damn good to finally be done with this. It took a village, really. Even though this is a solo, there are a lot of people without whom this would not have been finished or released to you today.
I started Flicker on October 19th, 2019, exactly one year ago. I have Jayuff to thank for showing me this song back in 2017, and I have always secretly hoped that he would make a level with it, as he is one of the most capable builders to have ever existed. After two years, I accepted that it wasn't happening, and took it upon myself to bring the song to life, even if I couldn't do it half as well as he could've.
I made a 23 minute video of all of my unfinished projects called "Unfinished GD Stuff" exactly a week later, and this is the only level that I did not show because I was worried about someone who wasn't Jayuff making a level with the same concept, with the same song, better and more quickly. I am sure even a B tier builder could have executed this in better ways than I am capable of imagining, but this was special to me and, perhaps selfishly, I kept it behind closed doors.
Alas, the collision slopes in the UFO gave me a LOT of trouble; sometimes the UFO would just stick to them for a second for no reason, sometimes changing the movement values of the solid part of the object by ONE SINGLE DIGIT shifted the path from being too high to too low. I got frustrated and gave up on it.
Several months later, I did a stream showcasing 10 of my unfinished levels, revealing Flicker to the public for the first time. It's thanks to my regular viewers on Twitch choosing this level that I found motivation to continue working on the level, even though all that they watched me do that stream was suffer through the moving slope hitboxes until I finally got them right.
I don't know if I could've stayed motivated to continue building this without the continued support of Pan, Cerberus, Drift, CamGotBitten, Viprin, Subwoofer, Pauze, Tony, mbed, and many other close friends who I perhaps too constantly updated with my very slow but steady progress.
I started building this level as a high school senior, and finished this level as a freshman in college. That transition has made me even slower than I already was, and there are dozens if not hundreds of people on Discord who helped me stick with it and not give up, whether they know that they helped or not.
The level would also not be playable if it weren't for its playtesters, Lowee and Cerberus, who found at least 15 ways that you could skip a huge chunk of the gameplay, including its most fundamental parts. I appreciate their detailed feedback and have put some time and care into fixing everything that they found.
With that, I present to you, on its one-year anniversary, what I would consider my magnum opus. Flicker is the level that I am most proud of, and one of the few levels that I am at all proud to call mine. While it has been a long and grueling process, I have still had so much fun putting it together, and I hope that today everyone else can have fun playing it or at least observing it from a safe distance.
I am not sure if I will be able to finish levels after this. My first semester of college has already been quite difficult to manage, and thanks to COVID making a lot of it online, I am only on easy mode so far. While this level is far from perfect, I put all of me into it to ensure that I would be satisfied with it being my last, just in case it is. If I do continue building in the future, I am almost certainly not releasing another level before 2.2 comes out, whenever it may be.
This level will be released as soon as the premiere of this video ends. Enjoy the ride, and take a break if you get a headache!
With love, as always,
Hado

I cut the song at 80 seconds, making it CONSIDERABLY shorter than the average Spin Rhythm level, because I knew that if I was gonna fill it with bullshit I was gonna need to be a little forgiving. Many people will probably find this abhorrent, and that's fine, because I had a LOAD of fun with it. Maybe I will redeem myself someday with something more universal.
This is probably not very friendly to Click to Move players, either, because I don't know how it feels to be a Click to Move player. I tried to keep it in mind, but there was only so much mind-keeping I could do as an outsider to the Click to Move universe.
I haven't made this available to play yet on SpinShare yet because I want to look over the terms and conditions, as well as debate whether or not I want to add more difficulties. When/if I do release this to SpinShare, I will make a little notice about it in my Discord server, which you can join here: discord.gg/rNAZeDh

This level will be made playable in a few days or so when it has been thoroughly playtested for inconsistencies. Their names will be included in the background of the white flashy part in Phase 4.
This is the first solo level I have completed in almost an entire year. Out of the levels I have built, this one actually means quite a lot to me, and I should explain why.
I've gotten slower and slower at putting levels together over the years not only because I've realized how little patience I have for it, but I have always felt frustrated to meet standards and expectations. I would feel guilty for trying to present something that I didn't think the community would view as good enough, and that damaged any enjoyment for building that I had left. It had no longer become something to do for fun, and had instead become trying to put a professional product together for really no reason.
This is what became the exception to that. CONK started as a layout of the first two or three parts two years ago that I lost interest in and dropped. You can find it in some unfinished levels videos of mine. Ever since I first heard this broken, choppy, distorted song, I have always wanted to make a broken, choppy, distorted level to accompany it. It wasn't until recently that I realized how much value that had for what I was looking for in building.
I was looking for a catharsis, essentially. I was looking for a way to put something together without giving a single damn about the norms. I wanted to make something that wasn't necessary conventional or unconventional, but was just its own product that was not influenced by expectations and standards of the community and, really, of myself. Going into decorating this, I knew there was no way that it would meet the community's standards, because it's completely and totally illegible. It's absolutely all over the place and has no visual indicators. This level must be committed entirely to memory in order to complete. With that thought in mind, all of the boundaries kind of melted away, and I just built to the song, doing whatever I felt like. If I didn't want to spend a lot of time on detail, I didn't. This is by no means a low-effort level; I still sunk two months or so into it and put a lot of attention into it, but in different ways that I found more entertaining. This was my opportunity to break free and make what I want to make with no obligations to anyone else's enjoyment, and I had a hell of a time.
That being said, I hope others find some way to enjoy it. It is perhaps as far from flowing and cohesive as possible, and is probably a real pain, but I know there are players out there who may find it a fun challenge, and I personally think it has a kind of personality to it that most of my stuff really lacks. I had to damn near break everything to accomplish that, but I feel like that's a personal goal of mine as a creator that I can finally say I've reached.
With that, I present to you quite possibly the least pleasurable experience any 2.1 level has ever presented. Stay tuned for it to be released in about a day or two once I fix the refresh rate bugs and awkward transition issues that the play-testers run into.
Difficulty: Hard-Insane Demon?
ID: Not yet released
Song: Squid Melody [Red Version] by TheLivingTombstone
youtube.com/watch?v=SabrsZiRFYI
The sections I divided it into to feel good about myself:
Phase 1 - 0:04 - 0:28
Phase 2 - 0:29 - 0:49
Phase 3 - 0:50 - 1:29
Phase 4 - 1:30 - 1:56
So I've never really liked this level to begin with even since it came out, just because I always found a lot of the decoration to be really spammy and obnoxious, and four years ago I made a vow to never play this level again when I finally made it to the drop and died at 58%. I didn't think I'd ever come to play it again.
Apparently there's this argument going on about whether or not this is harder than Psychosis? Like, that's an actual question? Spoiler alert: it is! It is not even remotely in the same difficulty bracket as Psychosis. It's harder than Night Terrors. In fact, I would consider it my hardest demon to date. But when I heard that people thought this was easier than Psychosis, of course I thought "hurr durr, I beat Psychosis, I can do Windy Landscape too!"
I've only ever heard great things about this level, which is why it shocks me that it is my worst experience with the game to date, and that Windy Landscape has sealed its place way down there with Forsaken Neon as one of my least favorite demons of all time. This is the first and only time I have ever beaten a demon and not felt accomplished or excited. I just angrily muttered "UGH, thank God, finally," and moved on.
That being said, I would like to apologize for cutting off the recording early. I was literally so beyond done with this level that I stopped recording the second I landed in the little completion wall thing. I was REALLY ready for it to be over, and it finally is.
Good riddance.

I don't particularly enjoy uploading just gameplay with no commentary or anything whatsoever, but a buddy of mine recently released a solo insane demon and it's absolutely mind-blowingly phenomenal. It has its kinks here and there that could've benefited from some minor polishing, but overall the flow of this is more satisfying than anything I've ever played and taking into account the design, visual variety, and atmosphere on top of the remarkable gameplay and sync, I'd say this is one of the best levels ever made.
That being said, my experience with it was still nothing short of complete and total anguish. My worst death here was at the last jump at 97% and that doesn't even take into account the 15 to 20 times I died at the dual, or the 35 to 45 times I died at the robot at 60%. I got 67% on this within 35 minutes of starting, and I had a whopping 47 attempts on the level, 600 counting the copyable. By the time I had beaten it, I had sunken 1500 attempts into it and multiple hours. Needless to say, I absolutely adore this level and that love is most CERTAINLY a one-way street.
As for an update, I want to get back into streaming at some point although my bitrate will still be underwhelmingly low because of my 0.6 Mbps upload speed. I'd also like to make some more actually original scripted videos as well now that quarantine has put some time on my hands. I totally also started a bunch of solos out of boredom, although I doubt I'll ever finish them. Be on the lookout for that stuff I guess.

I still manage to find parts of this game fun every now and then after all this time, and it’s played a pretty huge role in my childhood, but I grew up. I have no real way of telling if the future will give me much free time, but even if it does, building uses up way more of it than I’m comfortable with. It’s still fun, but my patience is thinner than what it used to be.
I’m not sure what you guys will think about these and I’d love to know. If I get to continue building, I want to finish the stuff people would enjoy to see finished the most. I might give a few of them away to people I trust will connect well with them, but most of these you’ll probably never see completed. With that being said, I hope they’re enjoyable in this current state.
As mentioned in the video:
Fourgees - twitch.tv/fourgees
The Scrapyard doesn't show anything that isn't shown here, but I was actually thinking of this one:
youtube.com/watch?v=57jfWChRcmk
I refrained from beating it myself at first because I couldn't record it, but hopefully this is acceptable. I verified it in Low Detail Mode and it still looks like it was recorded in 1996, but I recorded this on a laptop made in 2011 with OBS Classic, so this is the best I can do. I was hoping I'd get to show this off to you in 1080p at 60 frames, crystal clear, but since this is an insane demon I figured any proof that I beat it is better than no proof at all.
STUFF THAT THE LOW DETAIL MODE GOT RID OF:
- Some of the smaller rainbow square designs in the Jeyzor wave
- All of the backgrounds in the fast Daddepro section
- 80% of the deco in the Gboy ship
It DOES NOT change the gameplay in any way, but a few specific parts look a lot better without it.
TO SEE IT IN NORMAL DETAIL:
Here's a cut video of the whole thing in a bit better quality that I threw together on mobile. You can see on the end screen that this is back when Trusta was verifying the level. I know it's not much better, but it at least gives you a better idea of what the level looks like:
youtu.be/QqphxvpngKY
With that being said, I trust that you all who find the level appealing will enjoy playing it! I may not release anything else after this as far as I know, so hopefully if this is the end, I'm ending it on a good note.
Also, I know you all haven't really heard from me much on this channel anymore, and that isn't because I no longer want to use my channel, but rather there are some people IRL I know who I wish would just forget about this channel and my presence online. I'm not blaming them for anything because it's my own insecurity that's causing the issue, and I've never voiced my concerns to them about it, but that's why I've been dead here for like 8 months.
I do have a few other videos planned that I want to make before it's too late, because I'm gonna have to move on with my life soon now that college is just around the bend. This isn't necessarily a goodbye, but more of a "I hope to see you around but if you never hear from me again this is why". In case I never get the chance to say it again, I've had a great time being a part of your community and making stuff for you guys to enjoy (even though most of my stuff isn't enjoyable for most people), and I can't thank you guys enough for the management and social skills that I've learned throughout my time here. While it may not have been the most productive use of my time, it certainly wasn't a waste either.
To make a long story short, sorry for the text wall of dubious personal gushy stuff, sorry for the really awful video quality, sorry crohn for giving you the level to verify and taking it back twice, and thank you all for everything I didn't deserve. Enjoy Sonic Boom!

SirHa-GRODY!!! I got cooties from this :(((
So, I really didn’t want to cover the Poison Gauntlet because it’s the most annoying thing to have ever existed, so I decided I’d crank out the episode covering the gauntlet from which I got the idea to start this series. I’ve been really excited to cover this one, and I hope that the quality is fine. I also hope that it’s fine that I went out of order, because I’m really, REALLY, not looking forward to beating Generation Retro. I might just use someone else’s recording; I really have better ways to spend two hours.
Side Note: Guys, can I like, skip the Poison Gauntlet and do that later? I'm not looking forward to that one.

Next gauntlet in order is the Ice Gauntlet. Thanks to everyone for supporting the first video so strongly! I felt like this one was harder to do since I didn't really know what points to make without sounding redundant. It sounds a lot similar to the first video because the gauntlets are pretty much at the same quality; I'd say this one is actually worse overall.

I know I'm not the best at making videos because I have next to no equipment for it, but I feel like it might be important to point out that these levels may not be the best role models for new creators to try to mimic, considering how permanent and valued the gauntlets actually are.
There were two bumps in the recording here and there; I couldn't really help that, my rabbit was bounding around like an idiot and making noise while I was recording. ;P
I do want to make more of these, but let me know if you really do want me to continue them in the comments. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to improve them (suggestions that don't require me to spend money), I would also greatly appreciate those.
It is also perfectly fine to argue FORMALLY AND RESPECTFULLY against the placings or the critiques, since that's just more for the creator to analyze, however I might offer a rebuttal. ;p

Song: why not tho. by Jacques Melissa
dude
this is so wack
I just want to thank you all for sticking around and giving me a chance, especially since it’s clear by the entire first half of the video that I didn’t really deserve one. While the amount of support varied among each person, it wouldn’t be the exact same had any single one of you not done so. From the day of Foreshadow’s feature on the fifth of October of 2015, all the way up to today, it’s been a wild ride, on which we’ve definitely come quite far. Yet, still, no one knows when that ride will come to an official end. Only time will tell! :3
(Also, I totally didn’t just record myself watching YouTube for that transition bit. What kind of idiot would do that? 8)))) )
