I had to make something with Vandalised, especially since the full songs are out - Yes, songs, the explicit version is on One Ok Rock's upcoming album, Luxury Disease. There are F-bombs in an official Sonic song! What a timeline we live in!
I was trying to figure out what to mix with the new Frontiers song. Thought of using themes from Metal Gear Solid, but I eventually thought up of Ghost In The Shell. "Inner Universe" & "Rise" are some of the most iconic anime themes to me (though I only watched a couple episodes & the Solid State Society movie from that specific series). Rise & Vandalize was a match made in cyberpunk heaven.

That's when I saw the fight between Sonic & a goddamn obelisk (don't know the name, but I'll be calling it that until further notice)! I knew it reminded me of something, & it didn't take long to figure out that it reminded me of a T-posing tower enemy from one of my favourite space shooter games, "Sanvein" - I put that boss's theme over the Sonic footage, little audio adjustments & there you go!
Something quick & fun whilst the gameplay is still hot & fresh! Can't wait for Frontier, man!

Finally a conclusion to the Sonic Becoming Uncanny/Canny video I uploaded 3 months ago. There is Becoming Angry/Confused but doing them would be too exhausting at this point, just want to go back onto my mashups.
Like before, the idea was to take the Mr Incredible Becoming Canny template & make it all Sonic themed, music including. Since this is a more "canny" take, I took some liberties & added transitions, effects & video clips to make it gradually... well, canny I guess. Based it on the original Mr Incredible Becoming Canny template with the addition of the False Super Sonic glitch from Sonic Mania (even made a mashup for that phase, will upload full mix soon)!
To spice it up, I've thrown in a clips of Sonic '06, Generations & Sonic 1. Most importantly, I used LgdVegetto & Cajunspirit's "Sonic's Quest For Power 3 (End)" as the basis for Phase 10 - "True Hyper Sonic". Extreme, but such a classic Newgrounds flash series, check it out (EPILEPSY WARING, ESPECIALLY FOR EPISODES PAST 1):
Episode 1: newgrounds.com/portal/view/137068
Video Source of Phase 10: newgrounds.com/portal/view/296131
Even though I want to move on from this, I'm quite proud of how it turned out, though it's a shame it took me too long. I just don't have the same time management that I had before, too many things in life is holding me back which are more important than uploading content. I'll be working on my next mashup (teased in this video) & then work on my album.
Like before, this template is FREE to use. Go ham with it - edit, add, or even take away, do whatever you want with this*! Hope you like this 2nd part to the Uncanny/Canny videos!

I'm super stoked for Origins - I was already sold on finally having a Taxman/Christian Whitehead remaster of S3&K for console alongside the previous 3 games. But the added missions & shit is a hell of a way to breathe new life to these classics that I grew up with.
I'm unsure if the in-game museum feature can hold a candle to the Gems Collection gallery mode (I spent countless hours unlocking them & getting excited over each content), but then again I was only 14 when I got Gems collection - EVERYTHING was magical as a kid!
Still, even as an adult, this collection has me stoked. & to celebrate, I had to put my "Sonic Becoming Canny" video on hold to make this mashup (the meme is past it's prime, but I'm commited - plus it's still an entertaining meme). Hyper Potions has again hit it out of the park with the Sonic music! Also a little throwback to the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (or "Tony Hawk's Skateboarding" to us UK fans) - Hope you enjoy this entry!

I honestly really love the whole "Mr Incredible Becoming Uncanny" trend, seeing how that evolves & branches out over the months. Wanted to put a Sonic spin (ha) on it, especially since the original/extended template features a lot of sonic.exe samples.
Took longer than i thought. My family kitchen was being renovated, which took most of February, so less focus on making content. Plus, picking & distorting tracks was also something that wasn't quick. I'll probably upload that "Sad Green Hill Zone" track as a standalone track, quite proud of that mix!
& yes, my mashup album is still in the works. I just needed to try something new.
Also, this template is FREE to use. Go ham with it - edit, add, or even take away, do whatever you want with this! I might do a Sonic Becoming Canny at some pont, but I should get to work on my album next!

Murphy was one of the first prominent mashup artists I've come across alongside Yuzoboy & later down the line, KenJones3023. Alongside non-mashup remixers like TheLegendOfRenegade, they were the users who influenced me in the concept of VG mashups & mixes.
Months ago, Tee Lopes dropped a fantastic remix of Ristar's round 5 theme, "Ring Rink" - I just had to make a mashup of that & All Star! Murphy's channel has been inactive for over a decade now, hopefully nothing terrible has happened to him. If anything, here's hoping that he's out there enjoying life!

Was intended for Christmas Eve & have a bigger Ristar mashup for Christmas day, but it was the busiest time of the year after all. As a result, I'm trying to get the next one uploaded by the end of tomorrow.
A fun little mashup, something that was ringing in the back of my mind for some time now. While not as grand as the usual End of Year mashups, it's still a nice way to transition to 2022. Here's hoping 2022 does us all good!

Was working on the video before & after the Frontiers December reveal. Like the last two major mashups, I made this primarily on Filmora X. Being that, it drains my tablet dry, often to the point that the screen suffers from seizures. But it’s worth it though since I wanted to make something crazy for a crazy mashup.
I didn’t have anyway to get recording of Sonic Mania with hacks so I sampled footages of the Amy in SM back from Greenford DX (which at the time of this upload had winced archived his original channel & moved onto his second:
youtube.com/watch?v=gLUHAGs6Zkc&t=5325s
I really went all out with the effects again, but I think it’s worth it. Hope you guys vibe this energetic video - Enjoy!

The music for the Frontiers trailer is amazing, enough to make me pause my current (& frankly bigger) video to test this mashup out. Granted, I made the mashup days later after letting it eat away at me, so I couldn't resist.
I'm certain that the music is only for the trailer though so I won't expect a longer or a version without the background sound any time soon. But if there will be, I'll leave this as some sort of possible teaser, but don't expect one for certain - just think of this mini-mix as a sort of mashup interlude!

Always liked the idea of showcasing artwork in a video format, though what kept me back was my lack of confidence in my work. Originally posted these one by one via the Community Tab here on YT, but thought it would be best to showcase them as a video since the posts eventually get buried over time.
For my first Inktober entry, I went with Video Game Antagonists & Enemies. I was originally going for Final Bosses, but I wanted to change to include minor enemies too - Anything that is & was an antagonist at some point.
The villains range from obscure to well known, from minor to final bosses, from even entities that don’t fight but are serious threats. They’re all based on games I’ve played, so don’t expect the Top 31 here. Aside from 31st piece, it's one character per franchise.
Ever since I started Inktober in 2019, I had been improving my skills as an artist. Have to admit though, doing an illustration a day was way out of my comfort zone, not to mention drawing with anatomies that are alien to me (I always struggle with humans regardless of art style). The following year(s) I focused on getting the art done at my own pace rather than a strict 1-a-day rule I put myself in. But for 2019, I'm still surprised how I followed that rule despite juggling many things outside of it.

My second of the Tribute mashups this week, again featuring the OverClocked Remixes by Faseeh. He worked on the Plent Wisp remix "Misty Night" as well as this amazing arrangement of Jungle Joyride (Night), this time with another remixer by the name of Joshua Kruszyna.
I'm surprised that I haven't made an Unleashed mashup yet. Then again, there are several Sonic games out there where I have yet to make a standalone mashup from their music. But after listening to this remix of Jungle Joyride Night, I knew I had to use this for the next Chester Tribute. Trouble is, I didn't remember what I first thoight to mix it with - I had an idea months ago, but I had forgotten to note that down.
Luckily, it didnt take long to pick an LP song, or two. This one is a more simpler mashup compared to the MJ/Sonic tribute, but I did want to add some flair to this one. I went crazy with the effects - I'm still new to Filmora X, but it didnt stop me from going all out (part of it is to cover the fact that some of my gameplay footages had glitches not seen during the playthrough).
Granted, like the last video, the software devours my tablet's power & creates a huge video file, but it's worth it for the duo of tribute videos. I'll be reserving Filmora for the grander/special/tribute videos in the future.
Hope you guys like these videos. I'll be working on my new album now, so I guess I'll upload whenever I can to fill the gaps. Enjoy!
Rest In Peace, Chester Bennington. May you continue to Rock the Heavens!

A sort of callback to an older mashup compilation where I hinted at a Smooth Wisp mashup. I thought about making that as a whole, but I wanted to stick to the trend of me using OCRemix/Newgrounds/other remixes for the anniversary mashups.
It's a chilled, laid-back mix with a couple of surprises thrown in. The fact that this was done when Colours Ultimate is just around the corner is partially a coincidence. I planned to make mashup for 2021 earlier this year.
However, I did try to make a different mashup for the anniversary ("Dirty Look-a-Like") which was teased in my last WIP video. Unfortunately I've been having trouble making it sound right, so I had to bench that for the time being.
Anyways, it's long overdue. I hope you guys like this mix & I apologies for the wait. A Chester video will be dropped tomorrow too, so look out for that one!

Made for Sonic's 30th Anniversary, but it took longer than I expected it to be. I took my sweet time working on not just the mashup, but the video itself (published it up to 6 times since I keep spotting mistakes or pieces I just wasn't happy with).
"Stairway To The Skies" is a beautifully meloncholic song, but when mixed with "Open Your Heart", it transforms from a song about moving towards the light into a song about desperate plea for survival. I specifically used the Generations remix as the basis as the stripped & distorted vocals worked best in this context. Only during the last chorus does the originnal takes over. It's a powerful mashup for a series that's still running strong for over 3 decades straight.
Tikal is a focal point to this mashup, so I included both the Japanese & English prayers from Adventure by Kaori Asoh & Elara Distler (the first mantra was extracted from an episode of Sonic X). The mashup was going to feature more voice clips & acapellas, but it sounded overbearing & clashing.
This was a long wait, but I hope you guys enjoy this one.

I've been messing around with ideas whilst also juggling my next mashup album (which the tracks are just about halfway done). 3 of the tracks from last year, which are yet to be uploaded, are part of that album. So any worries that they might have been scrapped should be put to rest!

This started off as a simple idea, but it ended up complex. I honestly love to make more heavier mashups like this, I'm already planning on tackling BMTH's Parasite Eve after my next album is done.
Speaking of which, the album is progressing nicely. I managed to get the basis of 7/8 out of 21 tracks within a week, but had some hiccups with real life stuff up until now. I'm heading back on track so I'll be working on that next. Until then, I hope you enjoy this mix!

Inspired by how similar these two songs are in structure. Wasn't until a video by yetaro that really pushed me into making this mashup:
youtube.com/watch?v=0yRnFSdUJyg
The mashup started late last year & it was more or less done, but held it off to finish my last video. Recently though, I tried to mess around with the vocals because I wanted to make Mike's vocals as close to the original pitch as possible (pitched shifted the LP vocals to match Teardrops). I could only do so much without isolated vocals of Chester & Mike (seperately) at studio quality.
In the end, I love how this turned out. Right now I'm praying that this video will stay visible to as many countries as possible - Working with only official music video footages can be a tricky tightrope.

(Will update with a cleaner thumbnail sometime later)
It took a long time to get this done, but I'm proud to finally have this up. Though the mashup idea came first, I did make the drawings specifically for this mashup. It came to the point that I had to include them in the video in some way (one of the reasons why this mashup took so long).
I haven't done a Black Knight Mega-Mashup since the Metal Gear Rising mashup 5 years ago. It's great to work on that soundtrack again, especially now since I was able to use Ableton Live to correct the vocal pitches.
I'll be working on a new project for 2021, but until I do, I need to take a quick rest. Thank you all for sticking by throughout this terrible year, & here's hoping for a brighter future!

I’ve never done a KSE mashup before, I remember listening to one song. Though I have been listing to a bit more (& hopefully more to come) whilst coming up with this mix. This is actually the first mix I experimented with from the 7 previews, it was the easiest to put together, but somehow I left that one as I was becoming increasingly eager to test out some other ideas (in context, I’ve been working on mashups from my tablet since the Blind Sickness mashup, so I had more freedom here than when I used to share a PC).
I ended up forgetting about this for some time until some few weeks back. Turns out I had left it unfinished because I wasn’t sure how to end the mashup without repeating a verse/chorus. To fix this I looked up more Killswitch Engage songs & found something perfect to fit the breakdown (as well as more awesome songs to listen to).
I really love the thumbnail template I put together for the preview in April, so I made that the thumbnail here. One problem though was that the Time Eater theme wasn’t part of the mashup, at least not initially – I thought about taking the vocals from the Time Eater’s boss theme (via PhonicMind) & blending it into the mashup. It works surprisingly well!
This is long overdue, but it’s finally here – Enjoy!
Ps: The last three mashups will be completed, but they are part of a new project. Keep an eye out for updates via Video/Community Tab in the future!

1 of the several mashps previewed months ago:
youtu.be/ERhBDmy3qE4
The vocals came out very clean - Normally when using PhonicMind the extracted vocals can be a little dirty (usually depends on the song), but the Sonic CD vocals are surprisingly clear.
Originally hasd the vocals slowed down to match the instrumentals, but it sounded too weird. Flipping it the other way round sorted that out, though initially I didn't know how I felt about a sped up "In The End." Thankfully it grew on me as progress was making way.
The final shot of the video took a lot of my time. I still don't know if I got the zooming & panning right, but it was such a neat idea that I didn't want to scrap it. Hope you guys like this video (& I hope it doen't get blocked) - Enjoy!

Following off my last year's tribute, I wanted to make another mashup with a positive/inviting vibe. With both the Michael Jackson & Chester Tributes, I've been having a hard time thinking of how I can make them special & standout compared to my usual mashups. Eventually, I came up with the idea of using fan remixes, mostly from OverClocked ReMix & Newgrounds.
"Hidden Palace Future" was mixed by Haroon Pirachi (aka FFmusicDJ) & was featured in the Sonic 2 remix album, "Hedgehog Heaven" (my favourite track from the album). Oddly enough, the bpm of the remix & "I'll Be Gone" are exact - They perfectly sync without any tempo editing, something that never happened to me before! Only thing I changed is the pitch to the Linkin Park tracks via Ableton Live (this is a godsend to me, it pitch shifts without any warping).
"I'll Be Gone" wasn't enough, I threw in the Vice remix from LP's remix album, "Recharged". The extra vocals adds that punch to this awesome trance/dance remix of S2's Hidden Palace Zone.
At the end of it all, I still can't believe it's been 3 years since Chester left us. But instead of feelling depressed again, I want to enjoy all the positive things he has done & just how much fun the man was. I've been going through multiple episodes of LPTV as well as the various funny compilations of Chester & the band - Always puts a smile on my face & brightens my day.
Rest In Peace, Chester;
Thank you for everything - For your music, for the inspiritation, for helping me grow up!

The acapella of Speed Me Up was extracted & uploaded to YouTube, so I used that version:
youtube.com/watch?v=aFUQf6yoxJ4
At some point I wanted to use a clearer version that I had taken from Phonicmind, but I went with the first one in the end - The muffle, wavery sound of the first one works best with a theme like Sea Bottom Segue (I only used a small part of the Phonicmind version to make the second verse more audible).
I wasn't sure what direction I was going with the video. At first, I wanted to portray Movie Sonic's journey throughout the film, I ended up making it seem like Modern Sonic was watching the whole music video after channel surfing. Eitherway, I'm down with it!
I've got more Sonic Movie mashups in mind, so until then - Enjoy!

I still find it hard to believe that Michael left this Earth 11 years ago, it’s such a surreal experience. Even after a terrible first half of 2019, Michael’s appeal didn’t fully go away. If anything, his music is back playing over the radio of my workplace!
I had this mix in mind for some time now, probably for over a year. I wanted to work on this, but I thought about saving it for the next anniversary (which is now) whilst I was still making the Speed Demon/Sonic Boom mashup.
Recording & converting the gameplay was a bit of a hassle – After upgrading to Windows 10, a lot of my settings & software/apps either weren’t working that well or they weren’t all that compatible with the new OS (which is why the quality of the gameplay of this & the last video aren’t that great). Thankfully it turned out decent, but I may need to re-configure the settings on Windows Movie Maker.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this one!
Rest In Peace, Michael Jackson; Keep on Moonwalking the Heavens!
Happy 29th, Sonic The Hedgehog – Don’t you ever stop Running!

I teased this way back in April & was one of the first mashups I got mostly done (thanks to it's simplicity). This was a lot of fun to make especially since I'm mixing with artists/bands outside my usual circle.
I have a lot of Sonic mashups teased earlier, but since it's June already, I want to get my next MJ/Sonic tribute rolling (already have an idea). If I have enough time, maybe I could have one of my WIP mashups done before the 25th!
Whatever the case, the mashups are back & I hope you guys like this one!

The playthrough of the "Sonic Soundtrax Edition" of Freedom Planet comes to an end. It's been a hell of a ride making this playthrough. From the constant resetting & re-recording of stages after every death, to having deal with a hardrive crash. From constantly re-publish the same video after noticing the smallest of faults, to having to learn how to access a scrapped stage deep within the betas of this game.
I managed to learn a few new tricks with After Effects as a result - & of course, the drive to finishing this project eventually pushed me towards buying my first ever tablet. It's quite the journey! This video itself had been published 5 times now, the first 4 times I've noticed minute errors that had to be fixed. I hope to god I have everything here fixed!
I went above & beyond by extending the credits to list all the Sonic Themes feature (in order of first time heard). I even included the extra stats & score from the other character stages to make a new final score for the end. Before the fight with Brevon, the room starts with a Lilac enters is red & has a particular sci-fi "hum" going on, unfortunately that was disabled when the music was set to mute - To get around that, I decided to throw in a sound clip of the Sonic OVA intro (where Metal Sonic was charging up in Eggman's lair), a cool little easter egg of sorts!
I know this playthrough won't have as much traction compared to my Sonic mashups, but I'm just glad there are even a few people who watched & even liked this special series.
Thank you all for the motivation I needed to get this done!

Final Dreadnought 3 = "Panic Puppet - Act 1" [Sonic 3D (Saturn)]
Tragic Boss Battle = "Last Judgment" [Sonic Forces]
Final Dreadnought 4 = "Quartz Quadrant - Bad Future [Sonic CD (US)]
Final Boss 1 = "Boss Battle: Big Arm" [Sonic Generations]
Final Boss 2 = "Infinite" [Sonic Forces]
Snowfields = "Black Noises (Reflection)" [Sonic Adventure 2]
Epilogue = "Cosmic Eternity - Believe In Yourself (Instr.)" [Sonic CD]
Main Menu = "History (Extras Menu)" [Sonic Mega Collection]
Freedom Planet Theme = "Sonic Boom ~ Ending/Instr." [Sonic CD (US)]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Panic Puppet (Act 1) -
There's a tragic undertone to this theme. Originally picked because I thought the build up sounded great in the context of the intro monologue (Part 1). However, the meloncholy is a great forshadowing for the next boss theme.
- Last Judgement -
Before Forces was released, I originally went with Death Egg Robot from Generations. That quickly got replaced as soon as I heard Last Judgement. It's such a tragic theme that it just works for the fight with a mutated Milla (& the Ancient Dragon projection in Pagu Lagoon).
- Quartz Quadrant (Bad Future) -
I always found this theme to be unsettling in CD. The static bit samples & the eerie ambiance is perfect for Final Dreadnought 4.
- Big Arm -
My favourite final boss theme of all Sonic games, & an awesome remix in Generations. I don't have much of a reason really other than that!
- Infinite -
If you know me by now, this wouldn't be all that surprising! It's a powerful song with lyrical ambiguity when played during this fight. It's obviously a villain's song, but as the fight progressed, this song transitions from the villianous Brevon theme to a rage-filled Lilac theme. That or it can go back & forth between characters. Well at least, those are my interpretations. What about you guys?
- Cosmic Eternity (Instrumental) -
This scene with the Kingdom Stone is pretty parallel to the good ending of Sonic CD. It's a great uplifting track with a beautiful buildup, which feels natural during this scene & the Magister's monologue.
- Sonic Boom -
While the title version of the Freedom Planet theme samples Live & Learn, I thought it would be best to treat the full theme as a seperate piece. Live & Learn wouldn't fit during this credit sequence (it would sound too jarring after the events prior), so instead I went for a more softer (& fitting) theme in the case of Sonic Boom - Ending. I extended the piece with the instrumental version as to fit with the new & extended credits sequence.

Welcome to Project 3K, a one-off playthrough of Freedom Planet featuring music taken from multiple Sonic The Hedgehog games. A series celebrating the point when I hit 3000 Subscribers.
I was very specific with my choices of music - I avoided things like fan remixes, chiptune (aside from the 1-Up) & different versions/acts of the same theme. I wanted to have different pairs of themes for each stage, even if they may not sound like themes you would normally put together.

Major Boss Battle = "Sunset Heights" [Sonic Forces]
Schmup Stage = "Red Gate Bridge" [Sonic Forces]

Final Dreadnought 2 = "Tidal Tempest - Bad Future" [Sonic CD (US)]
Final Serpentine Battle 1 = "Ruby Illusions (Final Boss)" [Sonic Mania]
Final Serpentine Battle 2 = "Ruby Illusions (Final Boss - Pinch)" [Sonic Mania]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Mortar Canyon -
Before Forces, I originally picked Final Fortress from Sonic Heroes. I soon swapped over because of the tension, stress & sorrow heard in Mortar Canyon reflected & amplified what the original track sounded.
- Tidal Tempest (Bad Future US) -
The stage is claustrophobic & has a huge focus on the lack of oxygen later on. These factors alone are why I went with the US Tidal Tempest (Bad Future), the constant reminder of breathing from the vocals & the dark ambience works best for this stage.
- Ruby Illusions (Pinched) -
The original boss track was unique that it was the only boss with a pinch mode theme. The Mania final boss never did, surprisingly enough - So I decided to rectify that by editing one just for this boss (it’s one of the very few tracks in this playthrough that had to be modified in such a way).

This is a special episode of Freedom Planet: Sonic Soundtrax Edition, as this is a plathrough of a scrapped level. Hidden in the beta of this game was the unfinished stages clearly meant for Torque - It was possible to have him & Spade playable in their own story mode, but due to complications & the development of Freedom Planet 2, this had to be postponed indefinitely.
This was a last minute addition, as in the complete video wasn't all ready to be published by the time I dropped the trailer - I started recording the footage yesterday. I went through the trouble in learning how to access these stages (via Cheat Engine, reverting to Beta & a lot of Googling) just for the sake of this playthrough. Horizon Starport & Warp Sector takes place before the begining of the game, but I thought it would be cool to have this recontextualised as flashback stages (also, considering Torque's identity would have been spoiled if I had made this as a "Part 0" instead of a "Part 10.5").
This is a "Part 10.5" only because these stages are short, unfinished & not part of the final release of the game. The end of these stages (except for the first screen of Horizon Starport) are just empty rooms. To work with those, I decided to have some past dialogue (relating to Torque) become transitions (considering this whole episode is a flashback).
Because of the nature of this part, I'm treating this as a sort of filler (since it's not in the complete game). However, because of that, I took the most liberties with this. Part 11 will be uploaded soon, in the meantime, I hope you like this Extra Episode!

Snowfields = "Event: Black Noise (Reflection)" [Sonic Adventure 2]
Horizon Starport (Scrapped Stage) = "Digital Dimension" [Sonic Riders]
Warp Sector (Scrapped Stage) = "Terminal Velocity - Act 1" [Sonic Colours]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Digital Dimension -
It sounds very futuristic. Horizon Starport is very futuristic - Put then together, & you wouldn’t think they’re from 2 completely different sources.
- Terminal Velocity (Act 1) -
Makes for a hectic yet great chase theme. I was a little hesitant at first since it’s use of the trumpets/horns, but I quickly found the mixture of different sounds & overall urgency of it outweighs whatever issue I had.

Battle Glacier 2 = "White Acropolis - The Base" [Sonic '06]
Prince Dail Boss Battle = "Battle With Death Queen" [Sonic Forces]
Stage Clear = "Stage Clear (Mania)" [Sonic Mania]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Black Noises (Reflection) -
I had to delve deep in the Sonic music bucket to find a theme that could replace Snowfields. I had to narrow it down to 2 - Reflection, or Fist Bump Piano Version. Fist Bump Piano was relaxing, but it wasn’t subtle enough. The track is mostly positive sounding, what I needed was something that was mostly ambiguous yet soothing. Reflection was THE perfect track to use.
- Red Gate Bridge -
Originally was going to use Park Avenue, but I felt that a vocal track should only be used for the first & main part of Battle Glacier. The original Schmup Stage theme is a minor key theme that works to represent the ancient & alien dragon. Red Gate Bridge is a theme that captures that (though sounds more alien-like than the original theme).
- Moonlight Battlefield -
Battle Glacier is an important stage where, at this point, 2 of the 3 kingdoms are united to face a common enemy. Representing the first part of the stage with a vocal track of fitting emotions & lyrics was something I wanted to do ever since I finished playing Forces (before Forces was a thing, I would have used White Acropolis (Snowy Peak).
- Ruby Illusions -
It sounds very much like the original track in terms of style & intimidation - No other reason to be honest, it just works that well.
- White Acropolis (The Base) -
This stage is more claustrophobic, so I did away with the vocal track & went with something more foreboding yet energetic.

Invincibility Powerup = “Undefeated (Invincibility)” [Sonic Mania]
Tragic Boss Battle = "Last Judgement" [Sonic Forces]
Bonus Theme = "Un-Gravitify (Electro Extended)" [Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Resurrection of Mephiles (Further Explained) -
THIS is the scene that solidified the decision to use this theme. I experimented with using the Metarex Dark Oak’s theme from the Japanese Sonic X, but Mephiles just works at every timing. I only looped the track once & had it end there since it was absolutely perfect (the original Brevon theme would have continued for another few seconds - Extending Mephiles’s theme for just a few seconds wouldn’t have made this scene that impactful).
- Planet Wisp (Act 1) -
The environment of Pangu Lagoon felt very otherworldy & ancient. With the colour palette & the ruins reminds me of a parallel of Planet Wisp's industrialisation, I found the theme an incredibly good fit.
- Lava Reef (Act 2) / Hidden Palace -
An ancient cave full of secrets & unreal wonders, it's a no-brainer. It's the perfect theme to associate with the game's most important stage in terms of lore (especially since S3&K's Hidden Palace did the same thing).
- Last Judgement -
A powerful theme for this & one other boss fight. Will explain further in the next use of this theme (Part 12).

1-Up = “1-Up (S3&K)” [Sonic 3 & Knuckles]
Aquatic Boss Battle = "Boss: Blue Falcon" [Shadow The Hedgehog]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Press Garden: Act 1 -
I can't explain why, but it just fits right at home with Trap Hideout. Maybe it's the fact that both stages share Japanese styled cherry blossom trees (Press Garden's second act though). I can't really say but they both sound similar enough to me.
- Red Hot Skull (Red Mountain 2) -
This is an interesting case because Trap Hideout 2 was NEVER implemented in the game itself. It was in the soundtrack & probably was going to show up in the final game, but for whatever reason wasn't used (maybe due to time constraints). Not even a Mini Boss theme ws present, just Act 1 throughout until the fight with Spade. So with this, I thought I'd shake it up by adding an "Act 2" theme, since Trap Hideout 2 actually exists (just unused). For this one, I went with Red Hot Skull - Not only to have the shake up unexpectedly contrast from Press Garden, but to also represent the grit of the Red Scarves hoards hunting you down with their motor bikes.

Bonus Theme = "Main Menu" [Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity]
Lord Brevon 2 = “Metallic Madness (Present)” [Sonic CD (US)]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Lost Impact -
This one is a reverse of the last stage. With Jade Creek, I changed 2 emotionally charged themes for themes that emphasised in escaping. In this one, I changed a mechanical & lively theme for an softer, emotional track. After the heroes' split, I wanted something to reflect the mood prior. It also dawned on me now that both Thermal Base (first half) & Lost Impact are stations/bases that consist of a labyrinth.
- Aquatic Base (Level 1) -
After Lost Impact, I decided to go back to the sneaking-into-the-base vibe, but still carry over that "softness" of Lost Impact. The reason why I picked Aquatic Base Level 1 instead of Level 2 is that the first version beter reflects the large, open-like design of this part of the stage. It's also slightly sombre, a trait I also wanted to carry over from Los Impact.

1-Up = “1-Up (S3&K)” [Sonic 3 & Knuckles]
Major Boss Battle = "Sunset Heights" [Sonic Forces]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Green Forest -
The entirety of Jade Creek is a stage where the protagonists are escaping in a stormy bamboo creek. It reminds me alot of the Prison Island escape stages in Sonic Adventure 2. Naturally, I went with that route (even the beginning of this stage start similar to the Green Forest stage). This of course changed the context of this level into a mad rush instead of running from the law.
- Eggman's Facility (White Jungle Remix) -
I knew I wanted White Jungle as a second act, but it was too close to walking on the rule I've placed for myself - No different versions of the same theme. While this is a unique theme, the stage is based on the same "area" (Prison Island's forest/jungle). Thankfully, Sonic Forces was a thing. It gave me a great excuse to go around my self-made "rule" by using the remix which was used for a totally unrelated stage.

Aquatic Boss Battle = "Boss: Blue Falcon" [Shadow The Hedgehog]
Stage Clear = "Stage Clear (Mania)" [Sonic Mania]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Cool Edge (Night) -
It's a chill track (ha) that does a good job in capturing the feeling of being confined to a cell. It's also the same pitch as the original theme, Royal Palace Jail.
- Tidal Tempest (Present) -
There's nothing more to say other than it's an obvious candidate. While it does sound more grand than the original theme, it's still does a great job fitting with the stage.
- Sea Bottom Segue -
I didn't hesitate to pick this one. The original stage for Sea Bottom Seque was spacious, which works well for Aqua Tunnel second half with the multitude of pipes flowing in the background (as well as the view of the sky & moon later on).
- Boss: Blue Falcon -
Aquatic Boss Battle (or "Bossoft") is a unique boss theme that appears in 3 stages, 2 of them being character exclusives. I thought for a unique theme, I'd go for a Sonic boss theme just as obscure. Blue Falcon has a chill vibe to it that I think matches the pace of this boss fight.

Prince Dail Boss Battle = "Battle with Death Queen" [Sonic Forces]
Stage Clear = "Stage Clear (Mania)" [Sonic Mania]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Palmtree Panic (Present) -
It’s more of a celebratory theme than a stage theme, perfect fit for this little 1 off scene. The original theme is from the Freedom Planet’s optional practice mode (target practice). I picked a Sonic song that matches the story moment rather than the level area.
- Aquarium Park (Area) -
I went back & forth on the idea of using this. I already have an Aquarium Park theme used, but the composition of this track (much like all of the map area themes of Colours) is an original piece (though it does sample the opening jingle from the stages further down the track). On the other hand, there wasn’t an anymore fitting theme to use for Zao’s palace.
- History (Extras Menu) [also “Games Menu" in "Sonic Mega Collection PLUS"] -
The original Main Menu theme is soft & pleasant, but the minor key of History adds a sense of sadness in the air. It’s just as calming as the original, just more nostalgic sounding (plus the change in style alters the context of the scene slightly).
- Sky Deck -
It’s sudden, loud & in your face - A perfect theme to wake up to when a good night’s sleep is ruined by an onslaught of cannon fire!
- Battle with Death Queen -
Originally picked Ruby Delusions from Sonic Mania, I changed it since I thought Dali’s theme needs to sound more tragic/or menacing. After listening to Prince Dail’s theme for a while, I came to the conclusion of using Zavok’s remixed theme from Forces in its place. I also realised that Prince Dail’s boss fights has the brainwashed Prince always riding atop of a beast of some kind.

Major Boss Battle = "Sunset Heights" [Sonic Forces]
Stage Clear = "Stage Clear (Mania)" [Sonic Mania]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Chun-nan (Night) -
Since Freedom Planet’s world has heavy East Asian influences, I thought that some of the palace themes should reflect that. Chun-man’s night theme is a calming track that makes the Shang Tu Royal Palace feel cosier than the original theme (though it still works somehow).
- [Sonic OVA clip] -
A golden opportunity to throw this in. I extended the trimmed version of the tv scene & repurposed it for this (the “cooties” dialogue exchange was taken out in favour of just a simple shot of the girls watching the movie in silence in later updates to the game).
- Quartz Quadrant (Bad Future US) -
Will explain when we get to the stage it's associated with (Part 12).
- Resurrection of Mephiles -
It’s a stark contrast to Metallic Madness US. This is a specificity sinister theme that plays at the right moments & is a great way to indicate Brevon’s cold-blooded & manipulative nature. Plus, this was chosen specifically because of a later scene (Part 9)!
- Wrapping It Up -
Just a genuinely good theme to fill this spot, which the original Freedom Planet track was oddly specific about. Meet The Team was only used in this cutscene that lasted less than 3 dialogue boxes, but hey, every theme is treasured!
- Dragon Dance -
a very oriental theme for a clearly oriental stage. I thought of using Dragon Road (Day) at first, but I realised that Dragon Dance works best in a city-at-night theme.
- Aquatic Park: Act 2 -
It sounds like the perfect shopping centre (mall) theme, I don't think it can get any better than this. Granted, Aquatic Park is more Japanese themed as apposed to the Chinese theming of Fortune Night, but the track ultimately still works regardless.

Major Boss Battle = "Sunset Heights" [Sonic Forces]
Stage Clear = "Stage Clear (Mania)" [Sonic Mania]
Bonus Theme = "Un-Gravitify (Electro Extended)" [Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Shut Up Faker -
It's a stark contrast with the original track. Whereas "Here Comes Trouble!" is, well, troublsome sounding, the SA2 has more of an edge, which makes the character interactions with Serpantine & Spade much more rage-filled. It was a no-brainer to me, it just works that well.
- Main Menu (Mega Collection) -
This was a tough one. I thought about choosing between S&tBK's "Fan Art (It Doesn't Matter)" & Sonic R's "Back In Time (Instrumental)", but they either felt too soothing or too montage-like. I wanted something "homely" if that makes any sense. Eventually I tested out the menu theme from Mega Collection, & it just clicked. Like the cutscene music before, it's very different to the original Freedom Planet track, but I think the change in sound & style flows well.
- Tropical Jungle -
Relic Maze 1 had a particular bounce & rhythm to it (not sure if I’m describing right) that I don’t hear in Sonic songs that often. Plus the tropical/East-Asian vibe which combined makes for a unique track. The closest I got was ‘06’s “Tropical Jungle” - although more cheerful sounding, I think it gets the job done.
- Vs. Metal Sonic -
It’s energetic, sudden & bombastic. What more can I say? Shame the Chase Scenes are brief though.
- Rusty Ruins: Act 2 -
It was the first track I thought of. What’s interesting is that Relic Maze 2 goes for a Spy-flick vibe, Rusty Ruins is fittingly more adventurous/explorative.
- Un-Gravitify (Electro Extended) -
There was another contender, but at this point I’d forgotten what it was! The Electro Extended mix (or “Main Menu”) already sounds very extra, which works wonders for the technicolour bonus room.

-
Tracks Replaced:
Intro Cutscene (no official name) = “Event: Strain” [Sonic Adventure]
Lord Brevon 1 = “Event: Resurrection of Mephiles” [Sonic ‘06]
Lord Brevon 2 = “Metallic Madness - Present” [Sonic CD (US)]
Final Dreadnought 3 = “Panic Puppet Zone - Act 1” [Sonic 3D: Flickies’ Island (Saturn)]
Freedom Planet Theme = “SA2 ...Main Rift for “Sonic Adventure 2”” [Sonic Adventure 2]
To The Rescue = “South Island (For The Land of the Sky)” [Sonic OVA]
Dragon Valley 1 = “Deep Woods” [Sonic & The Black Knight]
Invincibility Powerup = “Undefeated (Invincibility)” [Sonic Mania]
1-Up = “1-Up (S3&K)” [Sonic 3 & Knuckles]
Minor Boss Battle = “Arsenal Pyramid” [Sonic Forces]
Dragon Valley 2 = “Jungle Joyride - Day” [Sonic Unleashed]
Major Boss Battle = "Sunset Heights" [Sonic Forces]
Stage Clear = "Stage Clear (Mania)" [Sonic Mania]
-
Music Choices Explained:
- Event: Strain -
It’s a great opening track. Works great as a surprise attack theme.
- The Resurrection of Mephiles -
Only played for 2 seconds (as was the original track, “Lord Brevon 1”). Will explain better in Part 3.
- Metallic Madness (US) -
While more mechanical than Brevon’s original theme, it goes hand in hand with Brevon’s alien origin. “Metallic Madness (US)” is a fantastic ambient track that works well (if not, better) as a cutscene/character theme.
- Panic Puppet: Act 1 (Saturn) -
Reused for a later stage (as was the original track). Mainly picked for the intro due to its build up (but still a perfect theme for the stage later on - will explain more in Part 12).
- Main Riff for Sonic Adventure 2 -
It’s not too whimsical & not too gloomy/foreboding, it’s a punchy track that fits this intro, which is funny since the original Freedom Planet theme is upbeat & adventurous. I guess the Live & Learn riff transitions smoothly from Panic Puppet.
- South Island -
A no brainer. A perfect theme for Lilac & co (& an iconic theme too, especially since it’s from the OVA).
- Deep Woods -
The first track I thought of. It has a hint of mystery & ancientness with a dash of melancholy. The original track is more upbeat, but I really dig the nature-like vibe of “Deep Woods.”
- Sonic Mania’s Invincibility & Stage Clear -
Jingles very similar in tone to the originals, they’re practically parallel.
- Arsenal Pyramid -
I don’t have much of a reason other than that it sounds like a mini boss in itself. It’s a good replacement theme.
- Jungle Joyride (Day) -
The stage switches up on the second act, & the drastic shift between “Deep Woods” & “Jungle Joyride” gives the sense of urgency.
- Sunset Heights -
One of the most epic stage themes from Forces. The structure of the theme sounds very much like a boss theme. Makes a more fitting theme for the longer & technical bosses of Freedom Planet.

#FreedomPlanet #SonicTheHedgehog #Project3K
The idea was simple; take the Freedom Planet, mute the music & overlay Sonic music over it! I made something similar years ago with my Sonic CD playthrough where I replaced all the redbook audio with music by The Prodigy. But unlike that time where I replaced the audio files of a Mega CD (Sega CD) ROM, I didn’t know how to do that with Freedom Planet. Instead; as I said before, I just muted the music & painstakingly overlaid the replacements via After Effects. Since Freedom Planet is similar to Sonic (it did started off as a fan game after all), I thought it was a cool idea that should be explored, I know I’m not the first one to think of this - However, I don’t think anyone tried to change the music of the entire Adventure mode though.
It was a daunting task that had it’s setbacks (my hardrive crash set me back almost a year). Recording the thing as perfect runs was a headache, especially for later stages. But I’m happy to say it all turned out well in the end. Instead of working an an episode after each upload, I wanted to make sure everything was right so I waited until I got every episode ready - all that’s need doing is rendering the videos before uploading.
I’ll be uploading each episode daily or every 2 days (all depends on my work schedules, life schedules, or simply if I find errors that need fixing). I’m still making mashups as usual, so there’s no need to worry about that. Part 1 should be uploaded shortly after this trailer.
This playthrough was put into work to celebrate my 3000 Subscriber count, now it seems like it can very well be my 6000+ Subscribers special!
This is certainly not my usual stuff, but I hope you like this little experimental adventure!

Besides, some of these I've been working on & off, & I really wanna show off something during the dry seasons. These mashups are subjected to change, whether it's pitch correction, volume adjustment, re-mixing, etc. a few of these are close to completion, while others need way more time.
A few are being done during Project 3k, while the rest will be regain focus after the Project (although that order is also subjected to change depending on my time & enthusiasm).
In the meantime, enjoy these snippets & I hope you look forwards to any of them - Enjoy!

Ironically enough, I have even less time to make videos since I’m doing overtime at my job, which isn’t helping me mentally. This mashup was something I thought up as a response to everything regarding the coronavirus outbreak (aka COVID-19). This outbreak got me thinking about games like “Nier: Automata”, “Fragile Dreams” & “Enslaved: Odyssey to the West” as I looked at images & footages of cities left barren because of the virus.
Occasionally, I’ve been singing to myself “Over the Rainbow” to calm myself, & I noticed how well it fits with “City Ruins”. Initially was going to pitch shift the vocals to match Nier’s theme, but I’ve quickly learnt how much the major key sound of Over the Rainbow clashes really badly. As a result, I kept it as it is.
The begining footage is taken of Manchester, England (an hour bus ride from me). The footage shows how empty the city centre has become. Although that was some time ago, I wouldn't be surprised if it has gotten busy again. Unfortunately, people can't seem to stay indoors for so long.
This isn’t my usual work, but I hope enjoy this. I want to make more Nier: Automata mashups in the future, & I have an idea or 2 noted down – Enjoy!
Update:I only just learnt that the first NieR is getting a remaster for the PS4 - Talk about Perfect Timing!

I was in a bit of a slump ever since I had to remove my last video (long story short, one of the artists wasn’t ok with remixes/mashups of his work, so I had to take it down). To make up for this, I wanted to get to work on my next video, whatever that was. One of these videos was this.
As a Linkin Park fan, I’m surprised that I didn’t listen to more of Chester Bennington’s previous work with the band, Grey Daze. Listening to the remastered “Sickness”, I get a strong Korn vibe to it. In fact, it didn’t take me long to notice how similar the instrumentals are to Korn’s song, “Blind.”
There was no acapella or instrumentals available for both songs so I had to resort in using PhonicMind to extract them. The quality is slightly sketchy as a result & I tried to work around those to the best of my abilities - Hopefully it turns out fine for you guys.
I don’t often make non-game mashups, but this one intrigued me a lot & I wanted to branch out once in a while. I’m still working on Project 3K as well as a new “Follow Me” mashup to replace the last video, but I really want to let this one out for you guys, who you’ve been waiting patiently for a new mashup (probably).
Hope you like this one – Enjoy!

Happy New Year everyone! We’re starting the Nu-Roaring Twenties with an updated version of one of my favourite mashups of 2016:
youtu.be/PmDE2zMi3ow
Ironically I had severe problems with it since before uploading. My main issue was with the lack of proper pitch correction.
Without it, the verse sounds perfect but the chorus is 2 semitones off. With it, the vocals sound like chipmunks. Just recently I’ve learnt of a pitch correction tool/software called Newtones in FL Studio. On impulse, I downloaded the trial thinking that it would be simple to use. Well damn, it is far from streamlined (at least to me. I couldn’t even publish the edited vocals properly, so I had to record the audio via OBS Studios & concert that video file into MP3. Unfortunately I don’t have too much time to look into all the tutorials since the trial is short & I don’t have that many days off, so I’m going to work on my next New mashup (something a little more ambitious) as fast as I can.
Anyways, I hope you like this little filler video. This is a much needed fix of an old mashup (even the video itself got updated). The next video I guarantee will be something you’ve not heard of before (& I may have teased it somewhat a few months back).
In the meantime, enjoy!

I was not expecting Sonic to look the way he does in the new trailer. The artists & animators have seriously outdid themselves, & I can't wait to see more - I'm definitely watching this in cinema. To celebrate the occasion, I made this mashup with the trailer's prominent theme, "Blitzkrieg Bop"!
Now, the version in the trailer is a cover, but I'm not sure by who as the Ramones' classic song has been covered a lot (it could be a new one though). So in this instance, I've used the original classic that I first heard in "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3" as a kid - That's also why I've included the few clips of the game's intro in this video!
I went with the Modern (Generations) remix of Rooftop Run as I preferred the vibe & melody of that one overall. However, I liked the use of guitars in the original Unleashed track & I didn't want to swap tracks after 90% of the mashup was done. So I compromised a bit - I managed to isolate the guitars of the original, but in doing so made the guitars sound slightly watered down. I didn't know if I should keep them, but I noticed how it sort of reminded me of the original Blitzkrieg Bop's leading electric guitars, so I just kept them in (I toned down it's volume to not overpower the others).
Now onto Blitzkrieg Bop... It's a song that hardly keeps steady, it's as if the tempo & timing of the vocals shift often! I managed to get it flowing as consistently as I could. It's also a much more fitting theme to play for a Sonic Movie trailer than Gangsta's Paradise! XD
Anyways, I hope you guys like this one - Enjoy!

I'd started this over a year ago, but I didn't really finish it until recently. I was busy with other mashups, work & overall life. That said, I won't be uploading as frequently again since I need to get my life together - Work on my goals & responsibilities. I'm not quitting since I love this hobby, but I need to take a step back every once in a while.
About this mashup, I have ideas for more Non-game mashups, mostly MJ vs LP related. This one just clicked with me & thought how perfectly they flow together. Initially, I didn't use the extended intro but I toyed around using the "Pts.OF.Athrty" vocals near the end. For the video, I mixed in clips of Saliva's metal cover of "They Don't Care About Us" as well as other outside clips, including bits relating to Michael's trial evidence, bits relating to the film/mockumentary, "Leaving Neverland" & the Honk Kong-China protests. All these I feel relate to the theme of the mashup.
A little different from the usual, but I hope you guys like this one - Enjoy!

Tornado reached out to me several months back & suggested a collab - It was unfamiliar territory for me but I thought it would be really cool, she suggested an awesome little track she put together called "Wavelength Peril":
youtube.com/watch?v=_LAq1EFe8Ng
For a while, I tried to think what to mix with it. I sort of had the idea of mixing classic Linkin Park tracks (the first thing I thought of was "X-Ecutioner Style"), but as it was a Sonic-inspired track, I struggled to think of Sonic themes that can mix well. Although it hit me later on at how Wavelength Peril greatly reminded me of Radical Highway & Crisis City, so the inclusion of them was a no brainer at that point. I saw Wavelength Peril as a bridge between these two Sonic stages & I wanted to make sure Tornado's track wasn't so underplayed.
To make the bridge work, I picked Radical City Modern (Generations) as it was much more stripped & laid back than the other versions. To conclude, I used a bit of Crisis City "Skyscraper" (as a soft overlay) & finished off with "Whirlwind" (aka the best version of Crisis City)! Through in a few more LP rap tracks & you get this mashup! I mostly chose rap over singing as I thought it melds well with each instrumental track as they transition over each other. That said, I unintentionally created a narrative in this mix - I get an Infiltration-like vibe from this:
Radical Highway = Infiltration
Wavelength Peril = Sabotage
Crisis City = Escape
Because of this, I got giddy & went hunting for some voice samples from SA2 to use as a "security" tannoy that plays at different spots - & the ones I found were perfect!
Special thanks to Tornado Hedgehog for suggesting Wavelength Peril & reaching out - Hope you like the results! ^^

Sonic Forces has one of my favourite soundtracks within the franchise. I'm loving that Electronic infused sound this game carries - matches the theme/atmosphere of what the game is trying to portray. Probably the most interesting track out of them all is "Arsenal Pyramid - Interior"
This dance theme is pretty catchy & just gets grander as it progresses. Not only that, it sounds strikingly similar to LP & Steve Aoki's "A Light That Never Comes" (at least to me). A perfect match!
All the avatars in the videos are mine. Thanks to the PS4 Share feature, I can finally upload footage from my consoles! Granted, it has to be on PS4 & the quality is pretty low but regardless, it's nice to show off all my avatars created. All of my Forces footages were uploaded to my new 2nd account since I didn't want to clutter the main account with random bits of raw gameplay videos:

These tribute mashups are a bit of a role reversal; Michael Jackson’s mashup is rock oriented & Chester’s is more electronic pop (plus, Sonic 3’s ending has connection to MJ’s Stranger In Moscow). Eitherway, they are both special videos that celebrate the life of these artists!
I wasn’t too sure what to do for this year’s tribute, but around a week ago, I had this idea playing in my head. Unlike the melancholy vibe of the past 2 Chester tributes, I liked the idea of a more positive yet wholesome approach. Combining “Not Alone” with Aviator’s remix of Sonic 3’s Credits (“What We Left Behind”) felt just right. Throw in a bit of “The Messenger” & “Roads Untraveled”, & it becomes even better!
Rest In Peace, Chester Bennington;
Thank you,
for your Music,
for the Inspiration,
for helping me Grow Up.
Rock the Heavens for us all!

It’s been 10 years since the world lost The King Of Pop. It honestly felt like only 5 to me, it’s that surreal to me. Since then, I have been making MJ videos most of them being Sonic mashups. Every year from 2015 onwards I’ve been making special Sonic & MJ tributes as Sonic’s birthday of & Michael’s death is only 2 days apart. Plus, MJ had a huge influence on the Blue Blur, right down to his inception as well as the music in Sonic 3.
This mashup idea wasn’t new - I had this floating around for a year or so. The trouble is, there wasn’t a clear acapella of Speed Demon available anywhere. Only recently though, I was told about a website called PhonicMind, which allows anyone to gain an instrumental & acapella split from any song (to various degrees of success). It does ask the user to make an account & pay for the service, so I only used the 30 second free preview options for small bits of specific songs. With the Anniversary date coming up, I decided to bite the bullet & use it for 1 track. The cool thing is, is that it isn’t a monthly subscription thing that I feared it would, which means I have no issue using it again for future projects.
Since this is a special mashup, I wanted to include at least 2 minutes of Al Sharpton’s eulogy in this, in the beginning & ending of the core mashup. This isn’t just an exclusive segment for the video, but it’s part of the song too. 2019 wasn’t a kind year to Michael. At the turn of the year, a certain “documentary” reared it’s head for the world to see. It has been challenged & had major parts debunked for months now, yet the media continues to lap the “documentary” up without question (at least in the US & UK). I feel like nothing has been learnt from the past trials - Michael has been cleared of all charges, yet there are people out there who just don’t care. I’ve even noticed for a few years now, then whenever Michael’s birthday or late June rolls around, sensational headlines pop up when Googling the man. Of course they would make them at those times. I don’t buy it, many people don’t buy it.
Despite all this, this video is not targeting them (I have a mashup in the works that probably does though). In fact, this is my way of saying Thank You to MJ, Thank You to Sonic. Thank you to the Icons who inspire me.
I also heard about the passing of Desmond Amofah (a.k.a., Etika) on the same day as Michael's Anniversary. I've only seen a few of his videos, but I know how much he had an impact with the online community (I wasn't aware until now that he has was an old staff member on The Sonic Stadium) Because of this, I wanted to make a cameo of Etika near the end of the (core) mashup, him jamming to the boys - Rest In Peace man!

Looking forward to King Of The Monsters. In anticipation, I've been in a Godzilla mood. Because of this, it reminded me of this video that I wanted to work on but had trouble with After Effects. For weeks now, this refused to render, always crashing. Finally, I got it to publish a few hours ago. Both movies (Godzilla '14 & Shin Godzilla) are amazing in their own unique ways, so I thought about combining Shin's iconic theme with 2014's iconic scene - Fits like a glove!
Please excuse the quality of this. I try to brighten this clip since the original movie is pretty visually dark, but in doing so makes the pixelation a bit more prevalent. It's the best I can do!
