In Hindsight - Lost in Translation (Hardware Jams Weekend Challenge) In Hindsight 2026-06-06 | This weekend's Hardware Jams challenge was something along the lines of "lost in translation," or "coded language", or some other wonderfully bizarre prompt.Having recently revisited :Wumpscut:'s 1997 album *Embryodead*, I figured it was a good excuse to pull from the late-'90s industrial, gothic, and electronica space. It's a genre that never really took off, but it's always fascinated me—dirty synths, dark lyrics, overdriven guitars, and a disdain for capitalism.The result is a story of indoctrination, quiet submission, and the realization that meaning itself is just another product being sold.LYRICSWant to join our community? In Hindsight - Bruxelles, April 191x — No reply received (Hardware Jams Weekend Challenge) In Hindsight 2026-04-05 | This weekends Hardware Jams Challenge was "Significant Element Missing" I found this postcard in an antique shop — dated ~191x.It’s written in French and, depending on how you read it, tells a story of heartache, illness, and separation.
