DIY Homemade Eyeliner Pencil Version 2 EnKoreMakeup 2012-11-27 | Here's version 2 of my homemade eyeliner pencil series. This version is easier as it uses a pre-made base. It also shows a different way of getting the product into the empty pencil. Wax by nature is water proof and resistant depending on percentage. Smudge-proofing requires a little bit more to the ingredient by adding silicones and alcohols. Also, I have decided to make a 2-toned blue eyeliner with metallic flecks and a gloss finish. I needed some spiffy looking 30's shoes and off I went to my shoe room and picked some old shoes I barely wear cuz the styles were outdated. After all, mascara is a cream, and rule of thumb in makeup is any cream needs to be set with powder. It doesn't take that much longer to set your mascara, 10 seconds or less. Restoring Ratted, Limped Out False Lashes! EnKoreMakeup 2011-08-29 | (Level: ALL) False Lashes trend continues and lash prices goes up, they can range from $4-$15 depending on brand these days. I used to remember not long ago when they were 99 cents or so, there are still places that sells them for like $1 but I only see those at Trade Shows. You can restore lashes! YES! I have been doing this for a while as I use the same lashes in my eye-look videos. Read some more key points below. EnJoy! Key Points: Extra Firm Hard to Hold HAIR GEL - is key. This is what's going to bring body and shape back to the lashes. It will also fix the 'limp' factor. If there are any stray hairs, feel free to cut those. I had to cut a couple in this tutorial that wasn't included in the video, as my camera was on OFF when I did it. Remember, you are 'restoring' to a reusable state, not fresh from the factory/store state. Much like in this vid, its close enough to looking new. PRACTICE makes perfect. How To Make Rice in a Microwave EnKoreMakeup 2011-07-26 | (Level: ALL) OK, so not long ago, I tweeted that I can't cook rice on a stove top, and that I use the microwave when making rice. I've discovered this method in college, and my mom actually showed me how to do this. Which is so ideal as I only had a microwave and a mini fridge in college. Many was wondering 'how the heck' can one cook rice in the microwave. Well, here's how! A good break from makeup! Rice Cooker takes average 30-45 mins. This method takes 14 min. EnJoy! How to Make Rice using a Microwave: Place 1 cup of rice in a microwaveable plastic bowl (preferably with a cover) Rince/wash rice as normal Add 1 1/2 cup water (ratio: for every 1 cup rice, 1 1/2 cup water) Place the bowl the microwave with cover (you can use a diner plate) Microwave on HI for 5 mins. Then set your Micro Power Level to 4 (Med-Low) and cook for another 9 mins. Then you're done! Enjoy some nice fluffy rice. If you don't have power setting, Microwave the rice for 10 min straight up. Check if the rice is still a little watery, then add 2 -4 minutes until most of the moisture evaporates. *If you're living in higher elevation, add 1 minute for first 1,000 ft - additional minutes per 1,000 feet higher that that.
