daniel ceasar always | mini-cover by jennido jennido 2023-08-19 | filmed this in the hotel staircase while we were in new orleans the other weekend. it was cool there, maybe i'll be back one day... lots of eye-opening things occured this night and i didn't know how to process it.... so singing it was.the people there really loved their music; performing throughout the streets, riding around blasting their music, allowing anyone who was willing to hitch a ride on their wave to do so. they had no shame in making, sharing, blasting their music. it was the most musical inspiration i've gotten from a city fri chose this song because there were lots of speakers bumpin in downtown new orleans and as i went on a walk with my emotions high and thoughts running, there was somebody blasting this. which brought me back to earth for a second and reminded me of my jamie...this cover's not perfect, but i'm gonna take what i learned from new orleans and have no shame in it. because i'm still able to derive the feelings and lessons that produced this recording even along with the imperfections.our product should be given nearly the same value and care as we give ourselves.in other words.. be kinder to yourself and everything you create.- jennisocialsinstagram @jen.hdotiktok @jennndooo
