Transforming My Style: Combining Mixed Media and Acrylics Loz Antonino Creations 2024-08-11 | I was feeling really inspired by a @SarahRenaeClark mixed media video, that I decided to just paint using fairly random ideas and objects. Sarah spoke about her own learnings from the activity, where there is no right or wrong. You really just do the activity, because it is fun and you are enjoying yourself. That is really something I love with art, and I woke up the day after seeing her video and immediately wanted to create my own unique mixed media piece. I had wanted to do this for a very long time, but always procrastinated and put it in the future ideas pile (this is a very large pile).I came in with no real plan, other than to just create something and have fun along the way. The only thing I did know, I wanted to incorporate an animal into my piece. I used many different tools & techniques from my home studio to paint my Luna Wolf painting. In this video there is some air brushing, paint pouring, stamping with random objects, and of course traditional painting. The end results are something I am really proud of, as I continue to grow as an artist.
