Smaller bikes are fine or motorcycles that don't need to travel as far. In tight cites or many parts of europe they'll do ok with the current technology. But out here in the USofA it's gonna be tricky. You can't just put bigger and bigger batteries in these motorcycles to give you decent rang. The weight and cost go up and up to a ridiculous place. I got a pretty good feel on this thing. I've modded mine so much I'm calling it an XR301 now. But in doing so I might have led some people astray. Custom EFI Tuning WITHOUT a Dyno - CRF300L Jake TheGardenSnake 2023-09-01 | I need custom tuning for my CRF300l (XR301). I've done all the bolt on's like exhaust and DNA filter. I've done air box mods and emissions delete. And now I've gone into the motor and done a big bore, a CNC ported head, and race cams. No random map is gonna work for that. No shot in dark ECU flashing without the bike there is gonna get it. We need proper custom dyno tuning. Problem is trying to find someone who can do custom dyno tuning. I've had a very hard time finding a competent dyno tuner. I'm just not convinced they can do a good job. And at the end of the day they're just running a wideband O2 sensor and trying to set the air to fuel ratio. Well you know what, you can do that for self and for around the same price as custom tuning. And since you own the equipment you can do it again and again with each mod. Kinda wish we had done this from the beginning. So in this video I'll add a Dyno Jet Wide Band kit to the Power Vision 3. Then I'll show you how to turn that into suggested tuning and apply it to your ECU.
