Downtown Los Angeles Bike Ride With Ciclavia LA hoohoohoblin 2024-10-15 | This is a video of the annual Ciclavia LA downtown Los Angeles bicycle ride. In this video, I chose to use the natural sound of the event, because there were a lot of different riders with loud music systems on their bikes, so there was music everywhere I went, and it really made the event a lot more fun. Using the natural sound in this bike tide video makes you really feel like you were there.  Ciclavia has many sponsors, including the metro transit system, who encourage people to take their bikes on the train or bus to get to the bike ride. Many miles of streets are closed off to vehicular traffic so that bikes and skateboards and runners get to use the full streets. The downtown Los Angeles bike tour route takes you through Chinatown, Little, Tokyo, Echo Park, and Boyle Heights. This is a great way to see downtown Los Angeles, without having to worry about traffic and parking, and you can really go slow and take your time. It’s an all day event that happens once a year. I visited the San Diego zoo in October 2024, and this video shows you what your ticket includes, and what activities you can do, and, gives you a good look at some of the different animals, like the gorillas and monkeys and lions and tiger and koalas. The San Diego zoo is very big, and has many exhibits, so it is difficult to see everything all in one day, but I did my best. if you’re planning to go to the zoo, I recommend getting to the San Diego Zoo right when it opens, and going in the middle of the week when it is less crowded. If you get there at 9 o’clock in the morning, you should have time to walk the whole zoo, ride the tram, and see all of the animals. By the time the zoo closes, with enough time to eat lunch in the middle.

To fix this, all you need to do is turn the coffee pod holder clockwise until it snaps into place, and then it will drop down low enough to allow you to put in a coffee pod and close the lid and make yourself a cup of coffee. Road Hazard Ahead hoohoohoblin 2024-09-17 | This is a road hazard I saw on the side of the 5 freeway in California.  whenever you are driving on the freeway, watch out for road hazards, and always be alert. You never know what you were going to see. It can be dangerous on the road, so make sure you are always paying attention to your surroundings. Something big was on fire on the side of the road. I think it was a motorhome. Drivers were able to get around this road hazard by passing it in the furthest lane to the left. Hopefully the fire department could get there to put out the fire before it spread. 
Toyota Prius Engine Swap Cost hoohoohoblin 2024-09-12 | How much does it cost to have a new engine installed in your Toyota Prius? I have a third generation Toyota Prius with a bad head gasket, and I paid to have someone replace the engine in this Toyota Prius with a JDM used Toyota engine. This new Prius engine should be good for at least 100,000 more miles. An older Prius, swapping the engine with a good used engine is affordable, and makes sense if the rest of the car is still working properly. If you’re going to an event or sports game at the Intuit Dome Arena, there are many bike racks that you can lock your bike to on the Prairie Avenue side of the arena, and there are also bike racks near the front entrance of the stadium. There aren’t any security guards watching the bicycle racks during the game, so make sure you do a good job of locking your bike up while you are inside. You can see how many bike racks there are, and I would estimate that they never would all be full in a game, so you have a very good chance of finding an empty bike rack to lock your bicycle to while you are enjoying the game at the Intuit dome Arena in Los Angeles, California. I hope this helps anyone who wants to ride a bicycle to the game know what to expect.

Toyota Prius Check Engine Light - How to read the trouble code hoohoohoblin 2024-08-22 | That Toyota Prius has a dashboard light that says check, which means you need to check your engine. This video shows you what to do if the check engine light comes on on your Toyota Prius car. The car in the video is a 2012 Toyota Prius, and this should work for Models up to 2012. The Toyota Prius has an ABDII diagnostic port on it, and you will need an ABDII code reader to read the code and clear it. The code reader port is down below the dashboard on the left side. All you need to do is plug your code reader in it to the diagnostic port on your Toyota Prius car and then read what it says. Some codes are very serious, and others aren’t. Most of them are related to your emissions system, and the car will still run fine even if the light is on. Code reader will show you what the code is, and will give you the option of clearing the codes. Sometimes the code can happen once, and then it goes away. New Bike Lane On Hollywood Boulevard In LA hoohoohoblin 2024-08-20 | In Los Angeles, there are now 2.1 more miles of protected bike lane on Hollywood Boulevard between Virgil Avenue and Gower Street. In this video I show you some of the new protected bicycle lane on Hollywood Boulevard. This new Hollywood Boulevard bicycle lane is nearest sidewalk, and painted green, and also protected by white plastic pylons that separate bicycle riders from the cars in traffic. There are also Car parking places between the bike lane and the lanes of moving traffic, so bicyclist is protected by the pylons, and in many cases also by parked cars. This creates a much safer environment for cyclists versus just riding on the side of the road next to the cars. This was a big infrastructure project, and I’m sure the city of Los Angeles is planning to do even more protected bike lanes. This is a good start. Watch this video if you want to look at the new Hollywood Boulevard bike lanes. I was able to shoot this video without any car traffic because four times a year they shut down traffic in Los Angeles for a big community bike ride. That means you don’t ever have to stop for stop signs, and you can get a good work out, and you’re also safe from cars and other road hazards. I show you my experience riding from Playa Vista all the way to Baldwin Hills scenic overlook, and I also show you Culver City Park. If you want to take a bike ride and relax in a park and you don’t want to climb any hills, you can just stop at Culver City Park and relax. If you want to climb a hill, then you can ride up to the top of the Baldwin Hills scenic overlook, which is your great view of the city and also a great trying to get to the top.
