Why yes, Mr. Narrator. Percy was speechless. And so were you. In this entirely speech-free dubbing track of Thomas, Percy and the Dragon, everyone was completely speechless!
I'm also speechless, awestruck, and amazed to finally bring you a true S3 dubbing track. I hope it leaves you speechless too. And there's MORE where that came from! But I shall say no more, for it shall spoil the next story.
Huge thanks to @BrandonHargus for the dubbing track source audio and @MKtheinstrumentalist for his tremendous help in cleaning up the source audio. This is truly a dream come true for all of us.

Thanks to @BrandonHargus for his amazing VHS rip and @MKtheinstrumentalist for helping to clean up the audio! You guys are the best!
Last but certainly not least, here's the dubbing track that a lot of you have been waiting for - Edward's Exploit! Edward's Triumph is now our own triumph as we can hear the music he heard while triumphing over his troubles.
This has been such a fun few weeks bringing these amazing dubbing tracks to you all thanks to @BrandonHargus and @MKtheinstrumentalist. I certainly hope we can find more, but until then, enjoy! Brandon's twitter ► twitter.com/BrandonHargus MK's twitter ► twitter.com/MK_Inst
Bill and Ben's theme is a bop! It slaps so hard! Someone should rap to it :P
At long last the FULL S2 Bill and Ben theme can be heard, combining the variants heard in both The Diseasel and Edward's Exploit. Others have tried putting together this theme but in the past have used bits from the PC games which isn't entirely accurate to S2. I think this is the "definitive" Bill and Ben S2 theme cut. As always, enjoy!
You know what's coming next ;)
Thanks to @BrandonHargus for the dubbing track source audio and @MKtheinstrumentalist for his help with cleaning the dubbing tracks.

This episode was probably the one I was looking forward to the most from the S2 episodes on Thomas, Percy and the Dragon. It's so iconic! Bill and Ben's theme slaps and the Diseasel theme (when they make BoCo's eyes nearly pop out) is legendary. As always, enjoy! I must say I surely do!
Huge thanks to @BrandonHargus for the dubbing track source audio and @MKtheinstrumentalist for his help in cleaning up the source audio. This is truly a dream come true for all of us.
It's time for some trouble in this new dubbing track!
New week, new instrumental! I LOVE the Gordon theme at the start of this episode, it's such a perfect mix of the S1-2 Jupiter synths and the S3 Proteus instruments. Toby's theme is also really fun. This is all around just a fun, classic story. As always, enjoy!
Huge thanks to @BrandonHargus for the dubbing track source audio and @MKtheinstrumentalist for his help in cleaning up the source audio. This is truly a dream come true for all of us.
Christmas in July continues with another wintry episode dubbing track! I thought I'd mix things up and not just release the episodes in the order they are on Thomas, Percy and the Dragon.
This is an episode I never thought we'd hear the dubbing track of, and wow it's amazing. Those wintry ditties in the opening scene were under such thick narration it was very hard to edit them effectively. Additionally, Percy's Danger theme or "Crash" theme is so clear here!
More coming next week!
A huge thanks to @BrandonHargus for the dubbing track source audio and @MKtheinstrumentalist for his help in cleaning up the source audio. This specific episode needed a lot more fixing up and MK was a real godsend. Brandon's twitter ► twitter.com/BrandonHargus MK's twitter ► twitter.com/MK_Inst
Well I guess it's not quite a Christmas episode but a winter episode. Quite fitting at this time for all you blokes in the Southern Hemisphere lol
The Deputation is an episode with one really nice theme at the beginning and the rest is basically just sound effects with a couple ditties. But man, Donald and Douglas' theme in this episode goes HARD. Such a good theme, absolutely the best Donald and Douglas theme variant out there.
By now, some of you have guessed where these dubbing tracks are coming from. Over the past few months, my friend @BrandonHargus has been buying lots of copies of the Thomas, Percy and the Dragon and Other Stories US VHS, looking for a better copy of the echo master. A few weeks ago one such copy came in the mail which just happened to be mixed in split-track stereo, with the US dub (George Carlin + dubbing track) in the left channel and just the dubbing track in the right channel. We now know that the echo copies were sourced from these split-track tape masters, with the audio simply mixed down to mono (it makes lots of sense). Brandon sent me a few clips and soon sent me a recording of the whole tape. It was stunning to hear S2 and S3 dubbing tracks after all these years of searching. I asked @MKtheinstrumentalist if he could help clean up the tape noise, which he did. I further cleaned up the dubbing tracks and smoothed out the volume, and now, here we are!
James didn't say. In fact, no one said anything at all!
Having attempted an instrumental of this episode within the last year, it's surreal to actually have the legit dubbing track of this episode now. And what an episode it is! The most impressive bit I'd say is actually the Donald and Douglas theme at the start, a real masterpiece of Mike and Junior's work, though the James themes and the BreakVanDown Train theme are still amazing.
You may be able to guess what's coming next... but I shall say no more or I shall spoil the next story.
Huge thanks to @BrandonHargus for the dubbing track source audio and @MKtheinstrumentalist for his help in cleaning up the source audio. This is truly a dream come true for all of us.

Happy birthday to my friend Luke, @LeadPaintCrisis! He requested this instrumental a while back (I think). Anyway this instrumental is something I've wanted to do for a while and now it's finally done. I'm most proud of the themes at the opening and ending of the episode which are really beautiful to listen to. As always enjoy!

Back with a little more S2 :) This is a little clip I don't think anyone's attempted an instrumental of before. So I thought I might try my hand at it. It came out pretty good except for a short little ditty preceding the actual Danger theme, but sounds fine nonetheless. More coming very soon, but as always, enjoy!

Happy birthday to JeshingtontheFirst! Recently, he mentioned on twitter about wanting a James and the Red Balloon instrumental, so, remembering today is his birthday, I thought I might just make his wish come true! :)
Lots of people have been asking for this instrumental, especially after I uploaded dubbing tracks of the first 14 episodes of S6. This episode ended up being the first S6 episode not available with a full stereo dubbing track, so I was a bit hesitant to try it at first, but like my instrumentals of Jack Frost and Percy's Chocolate Crunch, I think this still came out good given the available resources. Don't expect more S6 instrumentals for at least a few months, though, I'm still very interested in making more themes and instrumentals from S2 and S3, as I think I've finally figured out how to do S2 and S3 instrumentals better than ever before.
The 'Red Balloon Waltz', as I like to call it, which plays several times in this episode, is one of the most beautiful themes from S6 (though, of course the actual Red Balloon song from S7 is far more beautiful). S6 and S7 really nailed the string/orchestra feel, and it's really lovely to listen to. As always, enjoy!
Thanks to my friend Sean @Thomasfan261 for lending the All Aboard! UK promotional DVD of his to be ripped. James and the Red Balloon on that DVD was perfect quality, 16:9 widescreen with no black bars on the sides. I wish more episodes had been released like it!

To celebrate TUEsday, 2/22/22, here's Edward the number 2 engine's FULL S2 theme from Cows (Season 2, Episode 2) and Edward's Exploit (Season 2, Episode 23).
I've been waiting to do this theme for this very day. 2/22/2022 was TOO good TO pass up!
This is sort of a "supercut" of Edward's S2 theme. It's the extended version of his S2 theme from the two episode it's featured in, with a few tiny bits of music from Bertie's Chase (mostly at the end), inspired by MKtheinstrumentalist and Mavis M.
A big shoutout to Ffarquhar Thomas for sending Edward's Triumphant theme from one of his Korean Thomas DVD menus. You can visit his channel here: youtube.com/channel/UCFK4gdNNDvg0CeiIAiwX5zw

Ah yes. The Runaway theme. One of the most requested themes on this channel has been the Runaway theme, specifically this variant from Old Iron. Hey guys, it's been a little while, hasn't it? Happy 2022! Last you saw of me on this channel, I was on a big S2 kick, and I promised another S2 instrumental soon... well life certainly has a way of changing your plans. All's well and good though, I'm still very interested in making some more S2 instrumentals/clips soon, so don't you worry.
This instrumental clip is one I've been meaning to do for a while, and what better time than Daniel's birthday than to finally finish it? The beginning's a little rough, but once it gets into the George and Ambient Skarloey themes this clip is as clean and smooth as a dubbing track clip can be. Hope you enjoy!
I also tried my hand at colour grading S4 again. This time I didn't try to zap out all the yellow but just to do it enough so that the sky looked a proper blue. Let me know what you think about it!

My third S2 upload in a row. Third time's the charm, you might say!
If you haven't been able to tell, I've been on a big S2 kick and this episode has been one of my most-requested instrumentals over the last year or so. I'd hoped to have more of this episode finished, but this theme came out very well, and with my friend Brandon's birthday coming up I thought it would be perfect. Have a great day Brandon!

Having just crossed 5,000 subscribers I thought I'd do something special. Both my friends MKtheinstrumentalist and WoodenToby have attempted this theme but not quite in full, this is the actual theme as it plays in the episode.
I'd hoped to have a full instrumental of the episode ready by today (which is actually Percy's Predicament's 35th anniversary), but I ran out of time. Thankfully I was able to finish the musical centerpiece of this episode by its anniversary so I'm quite satisfied.
More to come soon! I'm really in a S2-S3 mood as of lately, but I may also do some instrumentals from a certain later season. We'll see how things work out!

A Themes & Memes Instrumental, 2021Break Van • Full InstrumentalOliver11GWR2021-11-12 | "LAE IT TAE ME!"
Today is this episode's 35th anniversary, and thus marks 35 years since Donald and Douglas were first introduced into the TV series. This is such an interesting episode all-around especially considering how much we've found out in the last year or so about the cancelled Missing Coach episode and how much S2 changed during the filming stage. But this episode itself is still quite an interesting story, I love how Donald and Douglas are introduced, and quite quickly you find out that trouble is brewing because of their presence. The music is phenomenal, from the opening Donald and Douglas theme to James' ever-intricate S2 theme to the ominous Break(van)down Train theme at the end. I enjoyed making this instrumental and it came together very well, especially the centerpiece themes, so I do hope you also enjoy! And don't worry, more is to come soon!

I'm back! Last video I uploaded was on 4/4/2021 and I return with a new video on 7/7/2021. Coincidence? Yeah, probably.
Not sure why I decided to do this instrumental now, I guess it's just my childhood nostalgia for this episode more than anything else. I know this isn't the greatest episode of S6 musically or in terms of story but it's a nice little episode and S6 did have some nice music. I especially like the long version of Thomas' S6 theme at the beginning and Sir Topham Hatt's S6 theme at the end. As always, enjoy!

Diesel's just full of surprises, isn't he?
I'm back again with a video I wasn't expecting to make but still very glad to. While I was listening to Junior Campbell's Diesel video yesterday with the full S6 Diesel theme (which is amazing) I noticed that there was a bit of music which wasn't heard in the actual episode (around 0:37). I also just kind of messed around with the whole mix to keep those sound effects from drowning out the nice music. Hope you enjoy! I've got some special instrumentals in the works.

A couple of pretty nostalgic sponsor messages at the end of all late 2005 Thomas & Friends PBS airings. I used to have another video of this on my channel but this is much better quality thanks to a new source.
Note: they also played these at the beginning of late 2005 Thomas PBS airings too but they were in the opposite order, with Learning Curve first, then Amtrak.

One of the most unique episodes of the series, with Halloween and Christmas combined! This is not a full stereo dubbing track, I edited this together the best I could. It took me much more work than I originally thought, but it came out pretty good if I do say so myself. More like this are coming soon, all in good time.

A Themes & Memes Instrumental, 2021Pride • InstrumentalOliver11GWR2021-01-16 | Another Ed Welch song instrumental. No on-screen lyrics on this one... yeah... not much else to say.
One thing the CGI series well did that no previous era did was connect Thomas to real-world railways, and no better example of that were the Mr. Perkins' Railway segments that aired on PBS and were featured on some of the Brenner era CGI DVDs. It's still sad four years later knowing that Ben Forster who played Mr. Perkins is no longer with us :'(
My friend Jerome (TheGermanofSodor) found this theme without sound effects or anything on a DVD menu of one of my US DVDs (it's technically the opening theme from Gordon and Ferdinand but I've never watched that episode and I always associate this music with Mr. Perkins). I haven't posted any music from the CGI series on my new account but I'm making an exception here, no CGI Thomas footage is used, only live action footage of Mr. Perkins, so it should be alright.

Here's an instrumental clip of Winter Wonderland released on the official Thomas & Friends facebook account in 2017. I did my best to extend it a bit and restore the audio where posssible. I wish there was a full instrumental available, but this 2 minute clip is still quite nice and I thought I might as well share it with you all. It's definitely my favourite winter Thomas song and I always feel in a Christmas-y mood listening to it. Enjoy!

For real though, this is a pretty nostalgic theme for me since it was also used at the beginning of the US dub of Oliver the Snow Engine, my favourite S7 episode in childhood and today. When I found there was an extended version of the theme used in Thomas, Emily and the Snowplough I knew I should make an instrumental of it. So here it is! Did most of the audio editing on this back in March, only finally uploading it now because it's finally wintertime lol. As always, enjoy!

Today's the 34th anniversary of Edward's Exploit, so what better way to celebrate than an absolutely perfect instrumental of Bill and Ben's S2 theme from this episode? This episode is such a musical gem, from Bertie's Coach tour theme to this theme to Edward's S2 'Triumphant' theme, it's just great.

Since I didn't have the Thomas' Snowy Surprise DVD until later on, I don't have too many memories of this episode, but I will say, it's a fun Christmas one and Thomas' snowplow accident was really unique.
The music of this episode is superb, though. Winter Wonderland is probably my favourite winter Thomas song ever and this episode features it heavily. As always, enjoy!

The final remaining episode from the Salty's Secret VHS/DVD. The opening of this episode is really great, both musically and visually. I'd have to say this is likely the most atmospheric episode of the entire sixth season so it rightfully deserves its spot in the top bracket of S6 episodes.
Toby's S6 theme at 4:02 is also really cool. Too bad Toby didn't get much of a theme this season, I'm glad he got a much fuller theme in S7, but it does sound nice here too.
This episode is presented fully uncropped (as much as possible). The best viewing experience would be on a 16:9 screen in full screen (on a broswer, click on the YouTube player then press F).

Happy birthday to my new friend Jessie Ortiz! Have a great day!
Today's this episode's 36th anniversary of its original airing.
This is the last S1 dubbing track for a while until we find more. I am really glad we have this episode because the Runaway theme from this episode is iconic.
I've cleaned up the VHS audio as best as possible, it should sound better than any other version on the internet ;)
Additional thanks to MKtheinstrumentalist for cleaning up some of the VHS buzz, though I cleaned it up further.
Also, thanks to Brandon Hargus for helping edit the footage :)

Happy birthday to my best friend Brandon Hargus! Here's a special theme from one of his favorite episodes. Have a great day my guy!
This theme is not from a dubbing track, I edited it, and it was a tough one to do. I'm happily surprised it turned out so well.
Something sounds so nice about Gordon's S6 theme here, I wish the opening bit of the theme had been used in S5 cause it's really good.
The production crew went all out on Gordon's wild ride in this episode and Mike and Junior went all out on their music here too, so I'm very glad to have this theme very clean. Perhaps more edited clips from S6-7 will be coming soon... Wait and see ;)

This is it. The last S5 dubbing track there will ever be. I'm kind of sad but at the same time I'm really happy to have brought these all to you. It's been so much fun!
This episode is not really a fav of mine (it's not bad, I just never watched it too much as a kid) but, like all of S5, it has some nice music for sure. I love the music at the beginning (especially the stereo S3 ditty from A Scarf for Percy/Tender Engines). I also adore the music starting around 2:32 that plays before the Runaway theme, what a suspense building piece!

This was probably the S6 dubbing track I was most excited for. Elizabeth's theme is so perfect! I never knew I wanted a Baroque harpsichord concerto in Thomas but I just can't get enough of it.
You all know what's coming tomorrow!

On this day in 1984, two Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends episodes were broadcasted on UK airwaves for the first time.
But what if... Sir Ringo Starr was not the narrator? In fact, what if no one was the narrator?
These two episodes are a turning point in Season 1. In the first 14 episodes we get introduced to the main cast on the Island of Sodor, but starting in Tenders and Turntables, we really start digging into some really fun plot lines. Trouble in the Shed is also one of my favorites too because I was always interested in finding out the engines' origins, and Percy's origin is one of the most unique, being hand-picked by Sir Topham Hatt himself.
Lots of enjoyable music in these episodes too, like the Turntable theme and Percy's full S1 theme. As always, enjoy!
