Setting Up My Sons Pocket Planner // Day Designer Transformation Just Scribble 2024-08-15 | I originally snagged the "infamous" Day Designer pocket planner to see if this would work for me as an EDC so I could show you how I would use this inexpensive (just under $7) planner for on-the-go. But this planner really just won't work for me. As a working mom with a full-time job, my channel and my website/planner launch I just couldn't make it work without adding a lot of sticky notes and an extra notebook. That was a lot of frankenplanning to make this work when I already have great systems that work for me. But my kiddo saw the planner layout when I was flipping thru it and immediately wanted it for himself. But alas it's a very girly planner with the floral print. So we decided to transform it into a boy planner.In this video I walk you thru the transformation from a girly pocket planner to a boy-appropriate planner. There are other versions of this planner available online - some with blue and green back covers...but most are more expensive than this version. We have added an additional 32 blank grid pages in the back of each volume of our planners - for both Plans Horizontal and Plans Vertical. Sanzen 68 gsm Tomoe River Paper: How Does It Match Up? // Testing Their 1st Batch Just Scribble 2024-07-31 | In this video we will test the first batch of Sanzen 68 gsm Tomoe River paper and compare it to Sanzen 52 gsm TRP, Stalogy, old 68 gsm TRP, copy paper, Kokuyo business paper and Artist Grade 68 gsm TRP. I wanted to be sure that the quality was up to my standards before we used this new paper in our 2025 planners and notebooks. Ultimately this new Sanzen 68 gsm failed our test and we cannot, as a result, use it in our 2025 planners. We will be reverting to 52 gsm Sanzen TRP for our initial launch. In the future, when Sanzen has had more time to test and improve the quality of their product we will revisit it, or if another paper option comes out weโll look into that as well. But for now, we will be making our products with 52 gsm Sanzen TRP. Because we are unable to offer the 68 gsm Sanzen TRP which appealed to many of you, we are looking at another option so we can offer two paper options. Weโll update you via email and social media if we can make this happen (weโll know in the coming days) โ and those that have already preordered will be given an option to change to the 2nd paper choice (if we can make this happen).
