Heretic Steam Remake by Nightdive - Gauntlets fling you across the map! tarrker 2025-08-31 | So, I have the remake of Heretic and Hexen that I got for free because I own the originals on Steam. Thanks Nightdive!So far, it's excellent. I'm really having fun playing Heretic again with mouse look and at full HD.But, using the gauntlets on an enemy sends you and that enemy flying backwards. This happens because the gauntlets pull you into enemies and, all the weapons have knockback. Not something I ever even thought about before but, I guess they killed that knockback somehow while using the gauntlets in original?Hopefully they can patch that out. But, I dunno guys? Tell me what you think in the comments below. ^_^

Thankfully, I had some other creatures that could help with the task. Including this one bard named "Jimi" who seems to really enjoy his job.
Age of Empires II - Definitive Edition - Pathfinding glitch tarrker 2025-06-01 | Single spaces between structures can sometimes cause an interesting movement glitch with the AI pathfinding and, I finally got it on video. LoL ^_^

I just kinda walk around while stuff dies from my holy fire. Anything that tries to get in my face gets body blocked by my follower.Emilio is my buddy. ^_^
The Planet Crafter Gammut - Physics tarrker 2024-09-13 | Been trying to get this into a video clip ever since I started playing. The rockets you launch are, apparently, physics objects to the game engine. So you can effect them with your player character to create some rather amusing results. LoL :)

I don't really need the iridium for the meteorites but, I do need uranium and, it helps with my terraforming. Not sure why but, I'll take it. :)
Trigon Space Story Gammut tarrker 2024-09-05 | Grabbed Trigon: Space Story while it was on sale for $5 on Steam. Totally worth it. This game is basically FTL with more graphics and and detailed planning. It's not gonna be for everyone but, I really like it. Feels kinda like playing Oregon Trail but, in space.This is only the first, 49 minutes of gameplay. Definitely gonna try to circle back to Homeworld before playing more of this game. Although, I may have to skip Homeworld altogether as the remake is currently in a broken state.
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak Gammut - Episode 0 - A day in the deep desert. tarrker 2024-08-12 | Just screwing around, playing with some camera and physics stuff. Haven't played this since it was released in 2016 and I didn't play it much. It's fun though and it looks really good.Deserts of Kharak is definitely a Homeworld. game. ^_^
Unfinished Doom Mod from 1998 - Zero Alive Gammut! tarrker 2024-08-12 | This was a mod I was apparently working on back in 1998. At least, that's the date on the disc I found. I'm going through a lot of old media and saving what I can to more reliable, modern storage hardware.But, when I see a folder called "Zero Alive" that's full of Doom stuff from 1998, I can't help but stop and check it out. :)
Homeworld Remastered Gammut - Episode 1 - Hyperspacing into bandits tarrker 2024-08-12 | This is the first half hour of the original Homeworld game. The mothership does a hyperspace test and ends up in the middle of a bunch of space bandits.Not sure how I'm gonna do this series. The original Homeworld is striking and wonderful to play but, not that exciting to watch. I mean, it's still very striking at times but, there's long periods of just resourcing or waiting for things to happen.I'll try to spice it up with some impressive camera angles. But, either way, I will play through this game again and upload all of it here as raw gameplay footage. :)
Homeworld Remastered Gammut - Episode 0 - Kushan vs Taidan Skirmish at the Homeworld tarrker 2024-08-11 | First thing I did after installing the remaster was boot up a skirmish between the Kushan and the Taidan. Not actually sure if that's the right clan name either. Talking about the people you play as in the first game who had their planet nuked by the Taidan Empire... It's always and empire, isn't it?Wish I could play as the people from Homeworld Cataclysm. I kinda liked how they were more industrial than scientific or militaristic. ^_^
The biggest problem with Palworld right now imo. tarrker 2024-08-06 | Once you have access to a flying mount it mostly becomes a non-issue. But, world geometry with no hit detection is still a problem in the game right now. In this video I'm just trying to get from point A to point B so, no big deal.It's impossible to describe what this is like when you're trying to escape something that wants to kill you, though. x_x
Hard Space: Shipbreaker still has some serious issues... tarrker 2024-07-25 | To be fair, this is mostly my fault. Generally speaking, you want to move large pieces as close to the opening where they go as you can before actually tethering them into that opening.That said, the physics are still borked. I mean, the furnace has such a strong pull that it's still pulling these pieces through a literal wall. Even after they've actually entered the processor, it struggles to pull them in because of the furnace.I love this game but, for the life of me, I have no idea why this is still a problem. I'm sure there's stuff I'm not seeing but, I feel like this could be fixed immediately by simply putting the processor and the furnace farther apart. Or maybe have one side be furnace and the other processor instead of an opening for both on either side. It seems like such an obvious fix to a seriously problem for me. But, again, maybe there's something I'm not seeing.

Cats playing with a new box fort tarrker 2023-11-24 | My wife spent over an hour one night making this box fort for our cats. Usually we just cut some holes in a big box but, she went all out for this one and, the cats seem to really like it. Probably doesn't hurt that I sprayed it with some catnip mist. :)

Dinosaur Lover Plays Ark - Custom Ark Server Highlights - Part 1 tarrker 2023-07-17 | Playing on a server with a couple of friends. The owner had plans to eventually go live with the server but, it just never, really happened. Although, we did have quite a few friends on by the end.This is just part one of a short series. Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition - Vibrating Villagers Glitch tarrker 2023-07-16 | Not entirely sure what's going on with this glitch. It looks like the AI is repeatedly and rapidly issuing commands to units. Peasants are valuable, non-combat units. But, if all you have is peasants when your base is threatened then, you kind of have to use them to defend. So I guess that the AI is caught between moving them somewhere safe and using them to fight.What do you guys think?
Brutal Doom Episode 4 - Thy Flesh Consumed GAMMUT! tarrker 2023-07-16 | This is just me trying and failing to play episode 4 of the original Doom using the Brutal mod. I had fun just the same, though. I never really played through this episode before. I think I'm probably gonna have to play through it without Brutal Doom to stand a chance.On the up side, regular Doom is gonna feel like easy mode after getting wrecked by Brutal Doom for so long. :)

Tinkertown as of July 2023 - GAMMUT! tarrker 2023-07-06 | This is basically my experience with the game thus far. It feels almost like I'm playing through WoW again for that first time. Back when 60 was the level cap and Onyxia was the strongest boss you could fight.Tinkertown has been an amazing experience but, it is so very glitchy. Functional but, filled to the brim with bugs.
