This project is heavily inspired by Everywhere at the End of Time by The Caretaker. Please treat the subject of memory loss with respect and compassion as it is a subject that many who listen to this project may find difficult. There are 7 stages, each one representing a stage in the 7 stage progression of dementia. This is an artistic interpretation of the disease. It is not completely accurate to what happens to a person with dementia. Some elements have been added to increase emotional and dramatic effects on viewers. Cest Fini The Carebear 2021-10-15 | Today I got to take care of my grandma while my mom got her hair done. She was fun and loved playing with my baby brother. She was more aware than she had been before. So she ate her favorite foods and watched movie and stuff. She was happy. So she went home and I went to work. My mom picked me up early and I could tell something was wrong. We got in the car and she broke the news. My grandma had fallen down the stairs at her house and fractured her skull. She was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance with her children and her husband by her side. I was able to visit her earlier tonight to say goodbye. There's nothing left in her anymore. She's gone. I'm honestly relieved. I'm happy she doesn't have to endure the torture of Alzheimer's anymore. She probably won't make it through the night. I said in a long time ago in a video that I would end the Carebear project after she died. I wasn't expecting it to happen so soon so I decided to keep making music as The Carebear for the foreseeable future and being here for as long as I can. C'est fini, may the ballroom remain eternal grandma. And thanks to all of you for being here with me.

Extreme mood changes are present in this stage as our protagonist tries to hold dear to anything they have left of themselves. Max Millar- Tribute to summer (Avril 14th cover) The Carebear 2021-08-04 | Nearing the end of the summer, I realized that it would be nice to make this. Avril 14th has always intrigued me for a while but I never knew why. It's a great song and it gives off such a powerful emotion. But what was it? After recreating it on garageband I realized that when slowed down enough it becomes even more peaceful and thought provoking. I replaced the vintage piano sounds with a guitar and it hit me. This sounds like the end of summer. So this song is dedicated to this summer. It's made to remind us of the friends we made, the memories we have with them, and a sense of acceptance for whatever grand adventure comes next. A giant Max Millar album is in the works and I believe it's the best thing I've created.
