I uploaded this fight instead of the one from our Godslayer run, because 1) this run was 30s faster and 2) I actually had to tank 3 statues here (sometimes 1 statue doesn't spawn which happened in the Godslayer run, but as you can see I don't really care how many of them to take :D).

I use immovable potions with 3x potion duration glyphs to get almost permanent cc immunity, because there are situations when I need to dodge during incoming stuns on me (from shield charges, meteors, etc.)

Add-Ons: p2w private Hodor addons.

It's possible to do this job on a normal tank setup (maybe with some tweaks) and block all stonefists, but my goal was to make this task as safe as possible and don't rely on external support to achieve our main goal - no death speed run - asap.

There are tons of bleeds and dots on everyone with 100% healing debuffs which you can't purge. If I tried to purge my debuff, it would just apply more debuffs to other group members. I really don't recommend doing it atm ^_^

Andy S 2019-07-09 | Our first blind run in this new dungeon, so the way I tanked bosses here is pretty random and inefficient, but it was safer for me to hug Selene, because apparently she is a sister of Saint Llothis and has the same mechanic which needs to be instantly interrupted.

As always, the dungeon itself is pretty simple and non hardmode is much easier and faster, while Hardmode requires a good team coordination (rip pugs).

Normal food this time, so some people don't qq about cheese skeleton build. This is a 3mil dummy, because acuity doesn't outperform Mother Sorrow on a 6mil, and it's too rng in general. But in the current state of the game, there are bosses which die in 1 min, so this setup might give better potential DPS. But again, who plays a sorcerer anyway? :D

In this test my max health is low, because I used Max magicka + Recovery food, otherwise it's too tough to sustain without orbs. Also this is a Breton.

Don't know what else to comment. Stamina is still stronger (both melee and range), but if you play a sorcerer, then maybe you will find this build useful :D There is no static rotation, reapply skills when they expire. Activate Twilight Tormentor only above 50%. Refresh Daedric Prey as soon as possible. Execute is shit, don't use it^^

Soloing Veteran Blackrose Prison on Tank

Race: Imperial. I switched to Nord for the 2nd boss, because an extra 5 ultimate every 10 seconds actually makes difference there.

The easiest build for VMA and solo dungeons? Wrathstone DLC

You don't need to create a pet sorc with heavy attacks and shields anymore to farm VMA, because your dk or templar feels weak there!

You also don't need to learn rotations, animation cancelling, mechanics and other boring stuff!

All you need is to learn how to become a werewolf and how to stay in the ww form as long as possible.

This build uses a new set from the Frostvault dungeon (eso-sets.com/set/tzogvin-s-warband) and the updated Alessian set (elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Alessian+Order+Set) which can be bought for alliance points in Vlastarus. Both sets are not mandatory. For example, you can use a crafted set "Night Mother's Gaze" instead of Tzogvin and Beekeeper/Plague Doctor instead of Alessian Order.

It is very important to have Artaeum golden food and potions that restore health, because 2000 health regen is a significant part of staying alive. Combined with Claws of Life (your main dot ability), you get a very strong passive healing.

Please note, this is a fun build I came up with while checking new sets on PTS. It won't be effective in groups with tanks and healers, but you can always equip full damage sets on a werewolf and it will be pretty strong ^^

Cloudrest Hardmode - Resto Staff Off Tank - Murkmire

Veteran Blackrose Prison - No Death Speedrun - God of the Gauntlet achievement

Andy S 2018-10-22 | For this achievement you need to do a sub 40 minutes run without dying and without using sigils. We were playing extra safe, so the boss fight and the run were pretty slow, but we are not going to push for high scores in this arena. Just wanted to be the first to get juicy "The Unchained" title :D

For this boss I used Ebon + War Machine, dual wield backbar simply because I don't have other types of weapons (and not even sure it was a good decision to use WM at all xD). If you are new to this arena, then you should go for the akaviri dragonguard set or another set that gives good sustain and max stats, and frost staff/shield backbar of course.

Andy S 2018-10-22 | A bit unusual "tanking" approach this time. I was trying to contribute to group dps without losing important debuffs like alkosh, crusher and engulfing.

I'm using 6x medium, 1 heavy armor, full divines with lover mundus, 3x weapon damage glyphs. The main source of damage is obviously my backbar (maelstrom bow). It was my 2nd time with this build, so there is a big room for improvement, but we didn't have a lot of time for Cloudrest this patch.

Congrats to the team for taking the #1 scores in both mini trials and 217k vHoF run in Wolfhunter!

I didn't thoroughly test mother sorrow instead of bsw in trials, but on a dummy bsw does slighty more dps. Regarding bloodthirsty on jewelry, don't use more than 1 piece with this trait, because sorc's execute is just shite :D On this boss I used 3x arcane, because nbs destroy his hp in 5 seconds after 20% anyway.

You can also play around with weapon enchants. For example, use absorb magicka backbar if you have sustain issues; or use spell damage increase frontbar when aoe dps is important. Just keep in mind, that there is no universal setup for any trial/boss, but in the end the damage difference is pretty small.

I used a petsorc just for more AoE damage, and the negate is pretty handy too there to CC waves of adds (all of them spawn based on boss health).

Note, that non hardmode version is much more simple as usual.

I know it's possible to do 55k+ when everyone l2p (including myself of course), and the fight is shorter, all buffs/debuffs are perfect, I have destro ult ready and MOAR ORBS. Heavy attacking from inferno staff is not fun, but you should use it on bosses if tanks/healers can keep lightning blockade up.

Andy S 2018-02-17 | The Hardmode is very buggy here atm. We couldn't use fire abilities to make sure Leimenid always spawns a geyser, but even if it does, there is still a chance it won't protect you from poison anyway. So we just equipped roleplay builds without damage :D

For the rest of the dungeon I used 5x Mechanical Acuity (infused inferno staff frontbar with shock glyph), 5x Burning Spellweave, 1x Kena and Maelstrom Inferno backbar (infused spell damage glyph) with 2-stat food.

Some people were asking me if it's still possible to do the good old negate tactic on the 2nd boss, and the answer is Yes! For solo play Slimecraw + Lover mundus is a really strong combo, but I guess in bad raids with low combat prayer uptime it can work too xD

Here I'm using 2-stat food, but on other stages feel free to switch to Witchmother drink if you have sustain issues (I do it after 4th stage). Replace Daedric Prey for Inner Light for more magicka & recovery, and Rearming Trap for Empowered Ward if you need them shields :P

Veteran Bloodroot Forge - Galchobhar - Shalk Shaker Achievement

The special achievement on this boss makes the fight really chaotic, because you are not allowed to kill a single shalk there, so no destro ults and other cool AoEs :D Every shalk casts a pretty nasty lava ball that follows you, and the only way to avoid 20k+ damage from it is to go into lava or jump on a rock, if there are any... :)

I'm not sure if it will be the best setup for vma on a stamblade, but at least it's easy to get unlike infused/precise leviathan/vo/tfs weapons.

This build already works very nicely (probably even 600k is possible on a really good run), so after infused weapon trait and set crit bonuses buffs it should be even better.

Halls of Fabrication - Execute Phase Tactic (Veteran Hardmode)

Andy S 2017-08-10 | I watched vHoF completions by different guilds, and I didn't really like any of the execute phase positioning tactics. So I came up with the mixture of stacking pairs of people and spreading everyone across the platform: goo.gl/rtSZfE

It allows to safely taunt the last pair of adds (not everyone uses Hodor's speedrun tactics when they don't even spawn xD), and healers can easily reach all dds in the middle with combat prayer and healing springs.

Also it was my first completion of vHoF on DPS (I was only PvE tanking or bombing pugs in PvP this patch :D), so I just used oldschool skoria+scathing+moondancer magblade build here.

I made this video for my russian mates who have yet to complete this trial, but I decided to make it public, because why not :P

DW: Surprise Attack, Killer's Blade, Steel Tornado/Deadly Cloak, Relentless Focus, Resolving Vigor, Soul Harvest (ultimate regen morph only useful in VMA).
Bow: Poison Injection, Endless Hail, Razor Caltrops, Leeching Strikes, Rearming Trap, Ballista.

To sustain with 2-stat food make sure you keep Leeching Strikes 100% uptime and do light attacks between all skills. It also heals you for a decent amount, so stamblade's survivability is noticeably better than in previous patches. And don't forget about heavy attacks of course :P

Why Hunding's over NMG/Spriggan/TFS? First, you want to have VO on both bars, so it leaves us to Hunding's vs NMG (Spriggan/TFS on 1 bar is not that effective). I think both options are almost the same, but I like the stamina bonus on Hunding's, because it will take more time to run out of resources. But remember, mobs in VMA have much lower resistances than trial mobs/bosses, so this build won't perform well there.

The Ultimate Group Support Warden Tank - Quick Test

The 5-piece heavy set is totally flexible. You can wear Ebon or Ultimate regen sets like Tava/Dragon. Plague Doctor with 3-stat enchants will give you awesome stats and increase survivability.

Important note: When you cast Frost Cloak to buff resists you can actually not get the buff if there are many people around. So if you really need to always keep the armor buff, you can use another morph of spell symmetry or even equip Mighty Chudan moster set for super tankiness.

I'm sorry for posting boring tank videos, because everything else in the game is currently boring for me atm. New class and new role are kinda "refreshing" :)

The build is currently far from optimal, but the main idea is to maximize ult regen and use new sets to buff people with the cheap healing ultimate.

After I completed vHoF on my DK tank several times, I decided to switch to Warden tank, because it looks really promising and offers a lot of group support, especially on the last boss. I know War Horn ult will be better in most cases, but I just tested the Major Slayer uptime (was around 50% on myself).

I believe Warden can also be useful as a DD, but still need to farm new sets in good traits and weapons too :)

I'm testing different skills and moondancer vs aether, and can't decide what is the best setup yet and how far the score can go :D Sadly magicka sorcerer adds too much RNG into the arena, because of (un)lucky implosion procs and a pet that can randomly aggro some mobs or decide to run to another portal before mobs spawned :s

I think I'll share my previous 601k run soon, because currently I'm trying new things, and dunno how long will it take.

While magicka dk is pretty slow in vma compared to other classes, I think this particular build is probably one of the easiest to play. Keep rapid regeneration up, reflect all ranged attacks and watch the mobs burn :)

I made this run just to finish the collection of my vma runs on each class. Now everything looks up-to-date :p

I was avoiding playing pet sorc for the whole patch (and I'm not gonna continue :D), because it's retarded for many reasons, and here is one of them. 50k+ magicka in Necropotence and insane pet aoe = everything just melts (tho you have to learn to control the pet, and it can be really annoying sometimes).

Skills:
- Inferno staff: Force pulse, Crystal Fragments, Endless Fury, Volatile Familiar, Inner Light, Shooting Star.
- Lightning staff: Critical Surge (just for better heals), Liquid Lightning, Blockade of Storms, Volatile Familiar, Harness Magicka (better magicka sustain than with sorc shield), Thunderous Rage.

Standard raid gear (ilambris, necro, moondancer) & CP (99 elemental expert, 26 Elfborn, 75 Thaumaturge).

My opinion about Morrowind: RIP insane damage + sustain, and RIP easymode 30min VMA runs (if ZOS didn't nerf it somehow), so better farm your weapons now :D

Princess Rescuer / Jesters Festival Achievement

Andy S 2017-03-24 | If you follow exactly the same route, then you won't be spotted by the Butcher (the "hardest" part is at 01:18, he spawns to the right and to the left of you). If you get bounty while stealing the apples, then it doesn't affect the achievement. If you get bounty while returning back with the pig, then it means you've been spotted by the Butcher and can just abandon the quest and try again.
