Empire of Mutants EP 7 | Figure it Out - Royal Blood AMV Alp .K 2023-04-26 | In a post-apocalyptic world riddled with radiation, three boys hunt down the ruler of an empire of mutants, Amix.A lot of people have been commenting for a long time about whether I am coming back to pivot, or if I'm continuing EOM. The short answer is "no", however, here is what I did manage to make. As an AMV, this compiles the animation and story of episode 7 with music over it, so that we can finally say goodbye together. A farewell to pivot and to EOM.The longer answer and explanation is this: The episode took too long to make and collapsed in on itself, stuff started getting outdated as I discovered other animation software, and it became clear that we were polishing and spending so much time and effort on something that should have been either finished or abandoned a long time ago. With that said, I think it took me way too long to decide to release this video, it's been long overdue, and it's incredible that people still want to see it, so I have no reason to keep it from you.

The Death of Taira Masakado - Short Animation Alp .K 2021-06-13 | In 10th-century Japan, the Taira general, Masakado claimed himself as the new emperor and attempted to overthrow the government in Kyoto. The clan's crest is a swallowtail butterfly, a swarm of which appeared over Kyoto's skies. A bounty was placed on his head. His cousin, Taira no Sadamori, and Fujiwara no Hidesato attacked Masakado's forces in a night ambush. Masakado was outnumbered and betrayed.The story here is from a couple of online sources, and this is our interpretation. The artistic choices are inspired by the 19th-century ukiyo-e woodblock artist Toyohara Kunichika.This video was originally meant to be made in 24 hours, then I extended it to 48 to finish the animation. For a few days afterward, I experimented with textures, colors, and text to try to pay homage to the work I drew inspiration from.Hope you enjoy!

The story goes that one of its eggs found itself into the bag of a 19th-century English explorer. Now having established its population in Great Britain, the asexually reproductive creature feeds on smaller animals during the night, using its lure to charm unsuspecting prey.
