It is an oasis town surrounded by cotton fields and orchards. On the countryside, in a small village called Karasu, we mounted camels to take a short ride into the desert.

On Bali are a lot of stray dogs and cats. Two little kittens came every day to the pool side for food. Ill with everything a stray animal can have. On our last day we brought them to the veterinarian Sunset Vet Kuta and took care that they can shelter at Villa Kitty, Ubud. We hope that they may find a loving home soon. New Zealand - South Island 2018 Sabine Hartmann 2018-03-21 | For the first time in my life I have been in New Zealand. Yes, I read books and travel guides, but I didn’t know what I could expect. …….now I am a big New Zealand fan!Because there was not so much holiday time, we only visited the South Island. It was late summer south of the equator, temperatures up to 25 degree C and sometimes heavy rain. Coming from China, for me that country was almost empty. The landscapes are simply beautiful; from the flatlands in the Canterbury Planes to the high mountain ranges around Mt. Cook, the wide and empty Pacific East Coast to the narrow cliffs of Milford Sound.Mostly we followed the Southern Scenic Road. I only can recommend this.The air is sweet and the sky is deep blue, so are the waters of the lakes. New Zealand……the land of plenty
