In this video, I test TimeMass Photovoltaic, a groundbreaking new 3D printing filament from Timeplast x String Cubed Inc.
This isn’t just another specialty filament — it’s the world’s first water-soluble, photovoltaic 3D printing material. That means you can literally print objects that generate electricity from light, like a mini solar panel, right on a standard FDM printer.
This filament is part of the TimeMass family, revolutionary materials with high water content (~70%) which make the entire macromulecule polar and that's how we're able to do all of this!
In this case we’ve added functional nanomaterials in a conductive polar and light transmission material to create something never seen before: a dissolvable plastic that doubles as a solar-active material.
The test worked — and the implications are huge. From dissolvable solar gadgets to experimental energy-harvesting designs, the future of functional 3D printing just took a big step forward.

Plastics have defined our society, the problem is they're not defining our biology, and even our ability to survive as a species.
We believe we have the solution to the existential threat of microplastics.
Scientists have now found microplastics in our oceans, rivers, food, drinking water, the air we breathe, and even inside the human body. Studies have detected them in blood, lungs, placentas, and other tissues. While technology continues advancing at an incredible pace, a silent and largely invisible problem continues to grow alongside it.
And unlike many environmental challenges, microplastics don't simply disappear. They accumulate. They biomagnify through ecosystems and food chains. Year after year, generation after generation, the quantity continues to increase.
This raises an important question:
What if the next evolution of plastic isn't about making materials stronger, cheaper, or more convenient?
What if it's about making them disappear when we decide they should?
In this video, we explore The 7 Levels of Plastic, a journey through the history of polymer innovation that ultimately leads to Level 7: Timeplast, Programmable Matter.
A material designed with a fundamentally different philosophy: plastics that can be programmed to remain stable during use and then transform back into nature's building blocks at a predetermined time.
If microplastics are one of the defining environmental challenges of our century, then solutions must evolve just as rapidly as technology itself.
We believe we have one.Universal Prosperity Part 2.Timeplast Inc.2026-01-30 | In this video we're finally opening up to collaborators, volunteers and potential partners. Every calibration purge, filament change, failed print, support structure, brim, raft, or spaghetti mess is quietly adding to a global plastic burden that no one is talking about.
3D printing is one of the fastest-growing sources of microplastic waste on the planet. And PLA? It sticks around. For decades. Sometimes centuries.
But here’s where everything changes.
Timeplast materials are fully water-soluble, which means your 3D printing scraps don’t become tomorrow’s pollution. And with The Pabyss — our reactor named after “the plastic abyss” — you can go even further: molecular disintegration down to carbon-to-carbon levels, not only for 3D printing waste, but a world of other applications that water soluble materials like Timeplast can substitute.
That’s not recycling. That’s not biodegradation. That’s eliminating microplastics at the molecular level.
This is the only real solution to the microplastic crisis, because the only way to eliminate microplastics is to eliminate the polymers themselves.
Let’s talk about the real cost plastics, and the technology that finally fixes it.

Take two!Timeplast Inc.2025-11-12 | Our previous video featuring this innovative filament became one of the most viewed pieces we’ve ever produced. It sparked a lot of interest, and naturally, many viewers raised questions about the validity and voltage-generation capabilities of our 3D-printed photovoltaic panel.
In this new video, we directly address one of the most frequent points of skepticism. Some suggested that such a panel would be impossible, claiming that a hidden battery must be responsible for the observed voltage. After all, this is the first fully 3D-printed, functional photovoltaic panel in history, so doubts were expected.
To clear things up, our CEO personally demonstrates the panel in a single continuous shot, running a series of simple yet revealing tests. The video clearly shows the panel generating a voltage of 100+ millivolts, with both positive and negative polarity readings, something that could only occur if the panel truly functions as a photovoltaic device.Universal Prosperity Part 1.Timeplast Inc.2025-10-29 | Dear viewer,
This is not just a video. It's the beginning of an argument for something that doesn't exist yet, but should.
We live in a world that can simulate the universe, print new organs, and predict your next move online before you make it. But for all that power, we still can’t guarantee that a healthy human being can live a prosperous life. Not by default. Not with certainty. That’s the real technological gap we’ve ignored.
Universal prosperity is not philosophy. It’s an engineering challenge.
In the video, I explain how Singular City is being designed to solve that challenge. But there are a few things I didn’t say in the video that I want you to consider here:
Prosperity today is too often confused with access to money. But real prosperity is structured progress. It’s feedback, purpose, community, and growth. Those are design problems, not just economic ones.
No existing country or system is built to guarantee prosperity without competition, scarcity, or inherited advantage. That makes this one of the last frontiers in human civilization.
If we build cities that function like real-life game engines—with transparent rules, clear quests, balanced rewards, and feedback loops—we can manufacture motivation, flow, and success at scale.
3D printing, programmable matter, and decentralized systems now give us tools to create that city, not on paper, but in physical form.
Singular City is not utopia. It’s a prototype. A testbed for what’s possible when we stop asking who should rule the system… and start asking how we design one that works for everyone.
If you've ever felt like there's something fundamentally broken about how our world distributes purpose and possibility, this video is for you.
Let’s stop waiting for permission to improve civilization. Let’s start building it.
Manuel Founder, Timeplast Vision Architect, Singular CityOur Silo?Timeplast Inc.2025-10-27 | We are living inside a silo. Not a steel one buried underground, but a molecular one — a silo built from the very materials we use to sustain our civilization.
For decades, we’ve believed that progress meant producing faster, cheaper, and more abundantly. We built our world from polymers that promised convenience, but what they truly gave us was confinement. The walls of our homes, the fibers of our clothes, the air we breathe, and even the water we drink — all carry traces of a single decision made generations ago: to build a society on plastic.
We were told it was safe. We were told recycling would fix it. We were told innovation would come later. But the truth is simpler and more devastating — we’ve been living in a silo of lies.
Every year, billions of tons of plastics fragment into smaller and smaller particles, infiltrating every corner of our biosphere. These fragments — microplastics and nanoplastics — are now in human blood, in our lungs, and in the placentas of unborn children. They cross the barrier between mother and child before life even begins. The next generation doesn’t inherit the Earth; they inherit our synthetic residue.
Even if we left this planet, we would take our contamination with us. If humanity stepped onto Mars tomorrow, we would carry microplastics in our veins. We’d colonize another world already polluted — not by its nature, but by ours.
Apple TV’s Silo imagined a society trapped underground, convinced that the outside world was poison. They were told to obey, to preserve, to never question the system that held them. We’re not so different. We’ve been told that “sustainable plastics” are enough, that “biodegradable” is a solution, that the problem is how we dispose of plastic — not what plastic is. Like the inhabitants of that fictional world, we’ve mistaken survival inside a controlled illusion for freedom.
But the real poison isn’t outside — it’s within. It’s in our bloodstream, in our logic, in the inertia of industries that no longer serve life.
The only way out of this molecular prison is not to escape Earth, but to escape the materials that define our civilization. We must reinvent matter itself. We must move beyond plastics — not by making them a little greener or slightly more recyclable, but by creating materials that respect the one element plastic never could: time.
That’s what we mean when we say Timeplast. It’s not just a name. It’s a declaration that materials should not exist longer than their purpose. It’s a belief that the future of civilization depends not on building more, but on building differently — with matter that returns to nature without harm, on command.
Humanity is not doomed, but it is confined. We are not victims of the planet; we are prisoners of our own invention. And like every civilization trapped in its own mythology, our survival depends on whether we can face the truth — that the world outside the silo is not the danger. The danger is the comfort we’ve built inside it.
If we want to live freely again — to breathe air untouched by our chemistry, to drink water that belongs to no factory — we must dismantle the silo molecule by molecule. We must create materials that give back time instead of stealing it.
That’s the real frontier. Not Mars. Not the stars. But here — in the very atoms of what we make.
It’s time to step outside.
— TimeplastThe Manifester ExplainedTimeplast Inc.2025-10-08 | In this video, Timeplast founder Manuel Rendón explains the Manifester — a new kind of device that transforms spoken language into physical objects.
Unlike ordinary 3D printing, the Manifester works with Timeplast’s multidimensional metamaterials: polar, water-soluble, and programmable filaments engineered to behave intelligently with light, heat, and biology. When you speak, the system’s AI converts your words into a digital model, selects the right functional filaments, and prints the object in real time.
This isn’t science fiction; it’s an early look at a technology that could:
Rebuild manufacturing around clean, dissolvable materials.
Make tools, food, and shelter on demand — from Earth’s oceans to future off-world colonies.
Democratize creation, giving every human being direct control over matter.
Manuel also explores the larger implications: what happens when creativity itself becomes a material resource — and when humanity learns to “terraform Earth before Mars.”Introducing The Manifester - Timeplasts next technology.Timeplast Inc.2025-09-17 | Plastic is leading our contact world and it was never designed to disappear. This vast amount of water acts as a natural cleaning system—if we use the right materials. In this eye-opening experiment, we explore what would happen if all plastics entering the oceans were made by Timeplast.
We scaled the oceans down to a 26-gallon marine aquarium and introduced 4.6 grams of Timeplast, representing 1,000 times the current yearly plastic waste entering our oceans. The result? In just 2.5 days, the Timeplast dissolved entirely, leaving the water clean and all marine life healthy. Because Timeplast is water-soluble, it broke down at a molecular level—exactly how nature intended water to function as a universal solvent.
In contrast, traditional and biodegradable plastics, which are non-water soluble, would have remained in the aquarium, polluting the water and endangering marine life. This experiment demonstrates the power of our oceans as a planetary cleaning system, but only if we choose materials that work in harmony with it.
Discover how Timeplast could help solve the plastic pollution crisis by harnessing the natural cleaning power of water.
