So you want to visit the most beautiful place in the world? Not many people know about this remote cluster of islands in the North Atlantic called the Faroe Islands, so you're in for a treat. I'll show you one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited on planet earth and the top things to do in the Faroe Islands.

The Faroe Islands is a self governing archipelago, consisting of 18 islands connected by road, tunnels, ferries, causeways and bridges. It's located between Iceland and Norway, in the North Atlantic ocean and is a part of the Kingdom of Denmark. It's name literally means "Sheep Islands". And before we go any further... yes, there are sheep. A lot of sheep. Wherever you go.

My number one suggestion for visiting Faroe Islands is rent a car and plan a road trip.

01:45 - 1) GÁSADALUR AND MÚLAFOSSUR
Our first stop is in the Vágar Island in a well secluded valley where a tiny village by the name of Gásadalur lies. Here is the place where you'll find one of the most spectacular waterfalls.

02:35 - 2) TRÆLANÍPA
After about 2 hours of walking, you can arrive to the top of this cliff and experience a surreal scene as the landscape turns into an optical illusion as a lake seems to be elevated much higher from the sea than it actually is.

03:34 - 3) SAKSUN
In the island of Streymoy, about an hour from the capital, Tórshavn, you'll end up at our next stop: Saksun. The horizon presents lush green fields and sharp peaks. This is one of the most isolated settlements in the islands, with only a few inhabitants and, of course, lots of sheep.

04:45 - 4) GJÓGV
Moving on to Eysturoy Island, drive around here and you'll find the village of Gjogv. This place is incredibly picturesque with its multiple colored houses and 200 meter gorge (about 650 feet).

05:32 - 5) VESTMANNA
Visiting the Vestmanna Sea Cliffs is an absolute must. If you are fortunate enough to have good weather on your trip, the boat will sail through some of the gorges, which offers impressive views of the cliffs and thousands of birds flying above you.

06:32 - 6) KALSOY ISLAND
By taking a 20 minute ferry ride from Klaksvík, you can arrive at Syðradalur on Kalsoy island. While on Kalsoy, I would recommend visiting the village of Mikladalur to see Kopakonan, the statue of the Seal Woman.

07:44 - 7) TINGANES
Tinganes is a historic location of the Faroe Islands. It's a part of Tórshavn, the capital city. Back when vikings were a thing, Norwegians placed their parliament in Tinganes in 825. Yes, that's the year 825!

08:48 - 8) EYSTRURYARTUNNILIN
Faroe Islands is home to the 2nd largest under sea tunnel in the world, which is "Eystruryartunnilin". I don't know how to begin to pronounce that. It's almost 7 miles long or 11.24 km. This tunnel contains the world's first roundabout under water, which features large sculptures and light effects.

09:42 - 9) MYKINES
Faroe Islands is famous for its puffins. They're small birds that kind of look like penguins. Although you can catch a glimpse of them in many areas across the archipelago, arguably the best place to see them is on the westernmost island, Mykines.

11:02 - 10) TJØRNUVÍK AND FOSSA
After an adventure filled road trip, it's nice to tone things down a bit. That's why the last place on this list is the village of Tjørnuvík in the northern point of Streymoy Island. It's a village that's nestled quietly in a deep valley, facing the sea. You can visit this town and get a feeling of peace. It's quasi isolated location has made it one of the most visited towns on the islands.

You have only a few days in Miami to see and do everything, but it being one of the most popular tourist destinations in the US, the amount of activities in the city is endless and can be overwhelming if you have a limited time. Here are the top 5 things to do for a short visit in Miami.

1. Miami's top destination for tourists is South Beach, so of course I am not going to start there. We're going to be adventurous and head out to the Everglades. Just 30 minutes from the Miami Dade city limit is the thick of the Everglades National Park. Here you can spend a morning on the water doing an airboat tour that takes you through the famous twisting mangrove tunnels of the Everglades, spotting wildlife (like alligators) and getting up close with Florida's natural landscape.

2. Miami is a diverse pool of culture, ethnicities, and nationalities. As a result, the food experience in Miami is a standout must-do. When you have a limited time in a place, it's tough to really capture the full essence. Luckily you can hit up Calle Ocho, or 8th street, in Little Havana and do a food and culture walking tour.

3. I could probably make a separate video on only the museums to visit in Miami. Let me know in the comments or on twitter if this is something you'd be interested in. For this video, I'll mention the two museums I think are worth visiting when you have a limited time in Miami. On the coast of Biscayne Bay, we have Museum Park, which is an actual green park along the water where you can walk and bike paths. Located here is the Frost Science Museum and the Perez Art Museum Miami. PAMM for short. They are so close to each other you get more bang for your buck if you just go to both.

4. If you love the outdoors, the Fairchild Botanical Gardens is a must-stop. This 83 acre site is home to a wide variety of plants, lakes, and animals--including a couple gators. They constantly have activities that are great for couples, families, and solo-explorers. Even if you don't partake in one of their events, the gardens provides about 3 or 4 hours of walking through different themed gardens like rainforest, desert, bamboo and more.

5. Last, but not least there's the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. This is a national historic landmark with about 50 acres to explore. Vizcaya was the estate of James Deering in the early 1900s. Being a conservationist, Deering was particular about preserving the natural aspects of the site during the development of his villa. The compound includes shoreline mangrove swamps, some remnants of the tropical forest from the original 180 acre property, and about 10 acres of the formal gardens inspired by Italian Renaissance.

If you're visiting Miami over the weekend and you absolutely positively love food, then you must check out Smorgasburg. This is a large open-air food market that happens every Saturday and Sunday in Wynwood. Local food vendors set up booths every weekend offering their signature dishes and drinks. This is a great opportunity to try local Miami cuisine, mingle with Miamians, and get a taste for the culture in Wynwood.
