Black SunQuick video to address the common criticism "it's just sensor overload / use a solar filter".
Black Sun captured using modified "Full Spectrum" U.V. camera, designed to capture the full spectrum of high frequency elements that are beyond the range of a normal camera - so fitting a solar filter would obviously defeat the entire point in the experiment.
As you can clearly see, the Black Sun is NOT sensor overload - it's very real, as demonstrated by comparison with various common devices. I will make a more thorough video in the future to address some other interesting discoveries regarding laser pens and electrical-arc, but this video is simply to debunk the claim (fallacy) that the Black Sun is the result of a simple technological failure. As you can see, it's clearly not.

Enhanced to reveal additional details - this is best footage of the Black Sun so far.
inb4 "use solar filter" - this is a full-spectrum camera: totally un-filtered to capture full wavelengths of visible light spectrum, ultra violet spectrum and higher into the x-ray, gamma and possibly even beyond.
inb4 "it's lens-burn or sensor overload" - if this were true, then the "Black light" effect could be easily replicated simply by shining very bright light into the lens. It can't.... I've tried using every conventional light source available including U.V. Tube light, U.V. LED lights (400nm), Super-bright LEDs, Ultra-bright white LEDs, car head-lights (full beam), Laser pens (purple, red and green) & a 5500kv Electrical-arc generator (Tazer). Stay tuned, I'll demonstrate this in next video.
"Black light" effect is unique to the Black Sun - it's the only thing you'll find that can produce this effect.Black Sun visible in Britain (feb 2018)Black Sun2018-03-02 | Black Sun captured using modified UV camera
