Marek Firek's "Dog Sunday" or "Psia niedziela" part of the ArtBoom Festival
Firek organized a parade of dogs, much like the annual Dachshund Parade, but including of all breeds (even a cat!). The event started with a presentation of a letter to the National Museum in Krakow asking that dogs be permitted to visit the museum, followed by a police-escorted procession from the Museum to Plac Szczepanksi. Then the dogs were invited to become artists themselves, working on a collaborative painting project.
