A progressive metal song based on the episode "Dragon Quest" from "MLP: Friendship is Magic". The second song on my upcoming concept album; a continuation of the first song named "Misbegun".

My concept album takes place in a more harsh and dark type of Equestria, like a mix of Dark Souls and the show. In this Equestria, the dragons are called "The Horde" and have a history with the region around Ponyville, Canterlot and Cloudsdale. 1000 years ago, The Horde was banished to the Badlands by Queen Celestia. Spike, however, was allowed to stay with Twilight Sparkle when she hatched him during her test. She was convinced that she could make him fit in and become one of them. Sadly, this is not how it plays out in the album. The lyrics, pacing and structure of the album are made so there's enough information to know what's going on but still leaving a lot of room to make your own interpretation.

This song has been under the rug for about 4 years, if not more. I'm thrilled to finally see it complete and out in the world!

Similar to Misbegun, this song has parts that act as a tribute to Opeth and Onslaught.
