First of all, we would like to thank everyone who gives us a lot of support, without you, we would never get so many subscribers and support. Thank you for sharing, commenting and so on during all those year, you are all amazing!! It’s the first time a studio has such an amount of subscribers and it is thanks to all of you. We would also like to thank every old member who was part of the team and build LimS as strong as it is now. A big thanks to them and to the previous leaders (Melanie, Hans, Tiffany, Domi, Dani, Abby & Noémie) and LimS founder (Fra) for bringing such a creative place. Even if we close very soon, LimS celebrate on 2021 their 10th anniversary and bring to all of us a lot of friendly and lovely memories (and probably some edit-night trauma ahah) (⌒▽⌒)♡We will go with all those memories and remember how time could go fast here in the community. LimS was before a studio who edited a lot of girls (but with the new YT system it is more strict to edit as before; we are quite restrained). We wanted to use the most variety of girls, hope your fav character is gonna be here ;D You may notice that there wasn’t a specific theme or color palette for this project, editors were free to use what they want (as long as it was a girl mix!) and to use pink with the color they want.Special thanks to all the members for being here and making this project happen ♡ It was a really complicated project with a lot of backups. It took us over a year to finish it. We started a little bit before we hit 200K subscribers (31st May 2020) and we planned to upload it on august 2020 but we ended up having a busy life and having less time to edit, so we ended this project 1 month ago. We had this project going in April but due to remplacement, the collaboration delay, we’re really sorry for everyone who was waiting for it. But it came out great thanks to all participants!This collaboration has a dark theme. The main idea was to show a character who deals with the devil - or - deals with evil characters around him. The party takes place on Friday which is associated with celebration of the end of a week.The singer explains waking up - looking around and seeing what's left of a, obviously, crazy party. She knows that she'll be in trouble after finding "pictures of last night ended up online" but at the same time she doesn't care where it was such a fun night. This song has a good LimS vibe ｡ﾟ(TヮT)ﾟ｡To make the theme a little more funny we decided to focus on confusing characters. Which means putting @ eyes for making the character confused, they don’t know what happened and they don’t remember their last party ;) The @ is often used in animes to show confusing characters or situations, so we combine the song lyrics to our crazy idea! Breathin was our main project, we also wanted to do another mep for you…… Something more happy ;) Breathin MEP has a thought behind the video, compared to this where we just… you know, troll you for being a Haikyuu fan ;D PLUUUUSSS not every Limousiner couldn’t participate in only one MEP, so surprise!! \(^ヮ^)/To everyone who doesn’t know Raissa, she is a bigbigbigBIG fan of Haikyuu series. Everyday she talks about it and shares to us how much she loves this anime. So we decided (after all this time) to finally do a Haikyuu MEP. We wanted to use Haikyuu hawt boys with a social media theme. Every day.. (cough) more like every hour (cough) Raissa thinks about HQ!, the song was then perfect to show our main idea : showing the boys has Raissa show us on social media. Raissa is oftenly connected on social media for sharing HQ things and stalking all news about it. The song croons about singer infatuation with a guy she can't get out of her mind, she thinks about it 24/7, such as Raissa thinks of Haikyuu, everyday.Even if this song has nothing to do with a certain social media app (TikTok) we thought it would be fun to use it as a social media theme. Each of them follow the evolution of the sky (every day our sky has a different stage ; morning sunrise, blue sky, sunset, night time..) and each has a special meaning, special color and special scene selection. ✧˖° On 0.00 to 0.50 - night timeWe wanted to show here mainly the anxiety of character. Someone staying at home and alone. It’s night time, we used a darkish blue-purple palette mixed with grey to show this dark side. We use mostly raw editing with a touch of fx.✧˖° On 0:50 to 1.29 - sunriseThe sun will shine soon, characters deciding to be motivated to go out and taking on themselves for moving on. We decided for this to do more fx using various shapes and sky & clouds effects. The color palette used for this part was a sunrise pastel palette.✧˖° 1.29 to 2.10 - blue skyThe sky is blue, the sun shines. It’s time to move on, the character decided to go out, to follow his friend (or lover) outside. It’s time to breath. We tried to use scenery where characters get happy to be surrounded by someone else.✧˖° 2.10 to 2.37 - sunsetHere, we tried to focus on happy and good time scenery. The character grew from before and could see the progress he made. He could smile and enjoy life without having this anxiety rising. He keeps in his mind where he’s coming from and his past. ✧˖° 2.37 - 3.13 - night comingFor this last part, we tried to focus on night scenery only with a night color palette. Characters are out with their friend/lover and enjoy time outside, to be with others and understand they can count on someone else. Anxiety is now away. The participants had to put the characters into American Diner vibe, so they could have a soft day having some good food. Even though it was hard since we didn’t have many resources, everyone managed to put it up in an amazing way. The theme for this MEP was simple: make it as adorable as you can! The song tells the story of a girl who has such strong feelings that she thinks that they’re going to burst - just like a volcano. This project came from the bottom of my heart and I appreciate it so much.I hope everyone had a nice pride month this year. I decided to write some message here to maybe help or inspire some people to be the way you are (Just came back from a pride parade btw xD). I know how hard it is to accept who you are, it is hard holding back your feelings and your true self even in the year 2019. The community has come a long way but there are still a lot of problems that have to be solved in the near future. Coming out is probably one of the hardest things to say because one is scared of other people’s reactions. “Will they accept me? Will they still be friends with me?” are just the common questions and it makes me so sad to see that still not everyone is able to accept love, gender or any other kind of lgbtq. I came out just one year ago after struggling for 5 years with my feelings. Big part of why I was able to is this editing community. This community unites all of us and everyone is so understanding and tolerant towards each other. What I basically want to say is: Take your time to come out, you choose the right time and the right place, don’t let anyone bring you down for being yourself and you are never alone. Stay strong, be respectful towards each other.You know your own gender better than anyone else, you know your emotions better than anyone else, and don’t let anyone tell you what you are supposed to be. There was quite a number of obstacles and technical issues along with numerous replacements but in the end everyone was able to come together and make a very cute result! The colorscheme is also a bit special, we used blue, yellow (gold) and brown.
