During the Chinese civil war, the valley was used as a communist stronghold, Mao’s soldiers hiding here guerrilla style. After the civil war the village became a symbol of brave Chinese communists, but in the last seventy years, the village has fallen into disrepair, and only the elderly remain. The complex has four HUGE towers which are ideal for fans of rooftopping, plus some cranes for Brin to climb up - always a good time. The complex was also due to link up with the newly opened Subway Station located at the base of the towers.The complex is called 智富名品城 which means Smart Wealth Famous Product City and construction started around 2011 and due to complete in 2015, but seems like the developer expanded too fast and couldn't keep up. The factory was run by the Japanese company Uchino in the early 2000s, and used to produce towels and bathware, and there was a very strong Japanese influence at the plant. As Brin explores he discovers workers dormitories, flooded basements, and all kinds of abandoned media like tapes, photos and even old hard drives.
