UPDATE:
I changed the video's title and thumbnail from "Omori Title Theme" to the original name of "Omori Final Duet" after a comment mentioned it below. I used the phrase "title theme" synonymously with "principal theme" in reference to its recurring melody in the OST as well as being used in the trailer.

Omori is one of those games you don't want to put down no matter how much it plays with your heart. Despite having yet to beat this game, I have already fallen in love with the incredible original soundtrack composed by Pedro Silva. The title theme was especially enjoyable since it was the first piece I heard in the trailer, and occasionally returns during the game as a common theme.

This arrangement by duplicarto was originally a duet piece for a violinist and accompanying pianist, however I removed the violin portion for this video to highlight the amazing piano sound in the song. The original sheets have both parts though!

"OMORI is a surreal psychological horror RPG Maker game developed by OMOCAT and co-published by PLAYISM which fully released on December 25, 2020 for PC Windows and macOS on Steam. A timeless classic taking us to the fantasy land within a magical chocolate factory, this jazzy rendition of the song Pure Imagination puts a rhythmic spin on the wonderful original piece. The song added a sense of mystery and enchantment to the persona of Willy Wonka and gave the audience a look into the ambitious eyes of the title character.

Many of my persian friends who play piano tell me that Javad Maroufi's Golden Dreams is a classic for beginners, and after listening to it so much I can tell why. The piece is calmingly beautiful, yet dramatic at the same time. It also showcases a lot of techniques that can be found across Maroufi's compositions including the frequent use of octave tremolos.

Note: I skipped the first 55 seconds of the arrangement for this video because most beginner books start here anyways. The actual arrangement has the full length piece.

Stranger Things is one of those shows that you can binge in a few days without feeling terrible about yourself. The story matched with the eerie 80s mood of the entire show brings to life a truly magnificent experience. As a huge fan of 80s synthwave music, this theme really hit the spot for me and sounds really great with a synthesizer piano setting!

Hands down one of the best shows of 2020 had to be this charismatic miniseries about a girl who dreams she can make it to the top of the chess world. Aside from the gripping storytelling and incredible acting, the show had a fantastic soundtrack tying the whole story together and guiding us along the incredible tale. Carlos Rafael Rivera truly outdid himself on creating pieces that conveyed the power of the show without being too intrusive in scenes.

The show displays themes surrounding grudges, family, determination, and honor by guiding viewers through two seasons of pure adrenaline. The opening from the first season does this show justice, and remains to be one of my favourite anime openings of all time.

Clair de Lune – Claude Debussy || A Shorthand Version

2Sharp 2019-05-04 | One of Claude Debussy's most famous pieces. Clair de Lune (French for "Light of the Moon") is both a calming and enticing piece that draws on some of the best qualities of Paul Verlaine's 1869 poem with the same name.

This piece was again performed by Mihir Raut, a friend of mine, and features a shortened down version from the original. Enjoy!

Comptine Dun Autre Été – Yann Tiersen

RuneScape was originally a browser game built with the Java programming language, but was largely replaced by a standalone C++-coded client in 2016.
