Ever wished you could say 'See you next Christmas’ to your Christmas tree?
Lillebil and her family in south Sweden have made this a reality. Two years ago, tired of seeing fir trees as single-use items, they introduced a green alternative – a Christmas tree rental, with the longevity of the trees in mind.
How? By digging up the fir trees rather than cutting them down. Planted in pots, the Christmas trees are rented out over Christmas, after which they returned to keep growing till the next Christmas.
Long live the Christmas tree!
