Who Knows More About American Girl? A Superfan vs AI AllycatlovesAG 2023-03-30 | AI has taken the world by storm, to the point that all of my University Profs warn us against using it. However, I wanted to play around with AI, specifically ChatGPT and see how much it knew about American Girl in comparison to myself, a super fan of American Girl. Why I Dislike The Truly Me Rebrand From American Girl AllycatlovesAG 2022-09-05 | Edit: If the audio is a bit weird around the 6:00 mark, I had to remove some audio and unfortunately it cut out my talking. Sorry!So American Girl has released photos of the upcoming Truly Me releases and it is a drastic rebranding of the line. This line which was known for being the realistic girl of today will soon be taken over by coloured hair, rainbows and eyelashes. As an adult collector, I'm not American Girl's target demographic but I still had strong opinions on this release and thus I wrote down all of my thoughts and feelings and turned it into this video. I have problems with the rebrand overshadowing Claudie, the painted lashes and cheap meet outfits. I'm also concerned about the direction AG seems to be heading in for future releases.
