Karelia University of Applied Sciences organized the first Karelia Entrepreneurship Expo on 23rd April 2024, in Wärtsilä Campus, Joensuu. The event showcased a unique selection of live company interviews and local best practices.

At the end of the day, Karelia UAS awarded distinguished entrepreneurs in four different categories: Student Entrepreneur of the Year 2023, Staff Part-time Entrepreneur of the Year 2023, Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year 2023, Entrepreneurial Partner of the Year 2023.

Entrepreneurship Expo is organized in collaboration with the INVEST European Universities Alliance, Talent Hub
Eastern Finland, and students of Karelia’s International Business programme. The main language of the event is English.
