Ford Raptor Hardwire Radar Detector with Blendmount Mirror Mount | Easy Project! BobbyGfl 2022-10-15 | In this video, I will show you how I installed a Escort 360 max cam radar detector hardwired into my 2022 F150 Raptor.  I also used a Blendmount radar detector mount, replacing the traditional suction cup bracket. The Blendmount mounts to the rear view mirror and eliminates the suction cup on the glass and any risk of falling. I have an up close video on this radar detector, which has worked very very well for me.  It’s kind of pricey, but it incorporates the camera and the radar detector in one unit.  It’s a large unit and in my opinion really only suitable for large trucks or SUVs.  That is personal preference though.  I will show you how to run the wire through the headliner and down the a pillar into the passenger side footwell fuse panel. Hurricane Ian Recovery | Tree removal off boat canopy BobbyGfl 2022-10-12 | In this video, Stokes Marine came out to remove a palm tree with their crane barge from my boat canopy.   Stokes installed both my lifts, which are Golden Lifts, exclusive to Stokes.  Their crane skills are incredible.  They managed to lift this tree up off of the canopy without causing any damage to the canopy and they maneuvered the tree around the edge of my Traeger gazebo without damaging it as well.  Phil is my salesman with Stokes.  He also a personal friend.  He called me shortly after the storm and asked if I needed anything. After explaining the situation with the tree, he immediately offered Stokes services. The wind blew from about 11:30am to past midnight. The flooding occurred between 2:30 and 6:30 and did not completely subside for two days. We were incredibly lucky.  Not everyone was as lucky. Please pray for the families less fortunate. Our close neighbors had left so we knew we didn’t need to check on them. There were no reported injuries in our area. I don’t know exactly on the materials. I’ll think it through below. The components from alfresco you can add up on their site or build.com. They were what I would consider very expensive. I love the brand and would do it again but the stuff is pricy. The granite was the most expensive in the 2500.00 range. Everything else was much less. Maybe 200.00 in electrical. 500.00 in aluminum. 200.00 in concrete and concrete board and 500.00 in stone and mortar at 60 bucks a bag lol for just the kitchen area. It’s good stuff though and holds forever. The faucet was pricy and the disposal is the stainless version so maybe 1700.00 in plumbing. We own a plumbing company so can’t go cheep there! Add in a few bandaids and a back brace lol. Way less than a GC quote which I didn’t get on this one. My previous outdoor kitchen project at my old house was quoted at 30k. I did it for about 12k. Ford Raptor Roof Spoiler Installation 2022 BobbyGfl 2022-09-17 | Ford Raptor Cab Wing Installation 2022In this video I will show you how to install the Ford Performance Cab Spoiler Wing to a 2022 Ford F150 Raptor. This Raptor is Ionic Silver and the wing came out amazing. I had it painted at a local body shop where I was considering adding a Linex bed liner, but decided not to. Details on that are also in this video. This was not a very difficult installation. You do have to take the time to make sure the spoiler is centered. The glue needs to be a 1/4 bead. You can very gently press the spoiler in place and have a chance to move it, but once it's pressed in place you would break it trying to move it. All the details are in the video. Ringling Museum Sarasota Florida BobbyGfl 2022-09-11 | In this video I’ll show you the model train and circus exhibit at the John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota Florida. This exhibit is huge. You could walk it in 10 to 15 minutes but really if you take it all in it’s a good 40 minutes to and hour. They have everything from unloading the trains all the way through to the big tent. The level of detail is incredible. They’ve included every aspect of circus life from the performers to the animals to the audience. If you are in the southwest Florida area and looking for a fun family outing, add this to your list. It’s $35 a person for full access to the property. They offer a military and student teacher discounts but you must bring your ID. I’d recommend  walking the grounds first. Walk through the garden and the mansion on the water and then come back and do the air-conditioned portion of the Museum last. They have a restaurant and a Starbucks.
