At Hamilton Comic Con 2019, The Convention Junkies’ Natalie Labine sat down with Mike Lookinland -- best known for his role as the youngest brother, Bobby Brady, on the enduring television and pop culture phenomenon "The Brady Bunch" from 1969 to 1974, and its many sequels and spinoffs -- to inquire about his Brady days and his career now.
Michael Paul Lookinland (born December 19th, 1960) is an American former actor who was a TV-commercial actor before he was cast in "The Brady Bunch," having done around thirty commercials. He has naturally sandy-colored, wavy hair. Because his hair color did not match Peter's or Greg's natural dark brown color, his was dyed dark brown and straightened. Occasionally, the lights on set were so hot that his dye would run down his face. During the last two seasons of "The Brady Bunch," his natural hair color was allowed to show.
Lookinland provided the voice of Oblio in the 1971 animated film "The Point!" Shortly after the final season of "The Brady Bunch" wrapped filming, he appeared alongside Jennifer Jones and Paul Newman in the 1974 disaster film blockbuster "The Towering Inferno" and on the 1970s TV show "The Secrets of Isis."
Lookinland reprised his role as Bobby Brady in the 1988 Christmas special "A Very Brady Christmas" and again in the 1990 sequel series "The Bradys" in which Bobby Brady was involved in a racing-car accident, which made him a wheelchair user throughout the series. Lookinland spent several years as a television camera operator and made an uncredited appearance in the 2000 TV movie "Growing Up Brady" as a camera operator filming an episode of "The Brady Bunch." He also joined with the other Brady Bunch children in the 2019 television series "A Very Brady Renovation" on HGTV.

At Hamilton Comic Con 2019, The Convention Junkies’ Natalie Labine sat down with Susan Olsen -- best known for her role as Cindy Brady, the youngest Brady child on the enduring television and pop culture phenomenon "The Brady Bunch" from 1969 to 1974, and its many sequels and spinoffs -- to inquire about her Brady days and her career.
Susan Marie Olsen (born August 14th, 1961) is an American actress, singer, voice actress, animal welfare advocate, artist and radio host. At just under age eight, Olsen was cast as Cindy Brady on The Brady Bunch. She appeared in all Brady Bunch reunion movies with the exception of “A Very Brady Christmas” (1988) which was filmed when she and her first husband Steve Ventimiglia were on their honeymoon. Olsen reprised her role as Cindy Brady in the short-lived CBS spin-off series “The Bradys” (1990). In 2005, VH1 ranked her No. 34 in The 100 Greatest Kid Stars of television and film. In 2007, Olsen and her fellow cast members were honored with the TV Pop Culture Award at the TV Land Awards.
“The Brady Bunch” is an American sitcom created by Sherwood Schwartz that aired from September 26th, 1969, to March 8th, 1974, on ABC. The series revolves around a large blended family with six children. Considered one of the last of the old-style family sitcoms, the series aired for five seasons and, after its cancellation in 1974, went into syndication in September 1975. While the series was never a critical success or hit series during its original run, it has since become a popular staple in syndication, especially among children and teenaged viewers.
The Brady Bunch's success in syndication led to several television reunion films and spin-off series: “The Brady Bunch Hour” (1976–77), “The Brady Girls Get Married” (1981), “The Brady Brides” (1981), “A Very Brady Christmas” (1988), and “The Bradys” (1990). In 1995, the series was adapted into a satirical comedy theatrical film titled “The Brady Bunch Movie,” followed by “A Very Brady Sequel” in 1996. A second sequel, “The Brady Bunch in the White House” aired on Fox in November 2002 as a made-for-television film. In 1997, ‘Getting Davy Jones’ (season three, episode 12) was ranked number 37 on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All-Time. The enduring popularity of the show has resulted in it becoming widely recognized as an American cultural icon.

At Hamilton Comic Con 2019, The Convention Junkies sat down with John Morris -- best known for portraying Woody's original owner 'Andy Davis' in Pixar’s “Toy Story” franchise -- to discuss the impact of his character and inquire about his life beyond voice acting.
John Charles Morris (born October 2nd, 1984) is an American voice actor who landed the role of 'Andy Davis' in the "Toy Story" films after playfully voicing X-Men action figures he brought to his audition to the delight of Pixar staff. "Toy Story 3" director Lee Unkrich hoped he would reprise his role in that sequel and sought to locate him to that end. Any concern that his voice may not sound right was quickly put to rest when Unkrich first called Morris and heard his voicemail greeting. Morris' other TV, film and video game credits include the feature film "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" (1993), voicing the character 'Pepper Roni' in the video game "Lego Island" (1997), the animated TV series "Jason and the Heroes of Mount Olympus" (2001), the 'Toy Story Mania' episode of the TV series "Disney Get Connected" (2009), being featured in the 'A Look Back at the Animated Features of 2010' episode of the TV series "That Fellow in the Coat" (2010) and an appearance in the TV documentary "Greatest Animated Movies" (2016).
"Toy Story" is a computer animated Disney media franchise that commenced in 1995 with the release of the animated film of the same name, produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The franchise is based on the anthropomorphic concept that all toys, unknown to humans, are secretly alive, and the films focus on a diverse group of toys that feature a classic cowboy doll named 'Sheriff Woody' and a modern spaceman action figure named 'Buzz Lightyear,' principally voiced by Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, respectively. The group unexpectedly embark on adventures that challenge and change them. The franchise consists mainly of four CGI animated films: "Toy Story" (1995), "Toy Story 2" (1999), "Toy Story 3" (2010) and "Toy Story 4" (2019). "Toy Story" was the first feature-length film to be made entirely using computer-generated imagery. The first two films of the franchise were directed by John Lasseter, the third by Lee Unkrich, who acted as the co-director of the second film (together with Ash Brannon) and the fourth by Josh Cooley. "Toy Story" is the 20th highest-grossing franchise worldwide, the fourth highest-grossing animated franchise and is among the most critically acclaimed franchises of all time. The films, produced on a total budget of $520 million, have grossed more than $3 billion worldwide. Each film set box office records, with the third and fourth included in the top 50 all-time worldwide films. All four films have received universal acclaim from critics and audiences. The first two films were re-released in theaters as a Disney Digital 3-D "double feature" for approximately two weeks in October 2009 as a promotion for the then-upcoming third film.

Jerry Mathers (born Gerald Patrick Mathers on June 2nd, 1948) is an American actor who, aside from starring in the original “Leave it to Beaver” (1957-1963), also starred in “The New Leave it to Beaver” (1983-1989) and “Still the Beaver” (1983). He has appeared in many other TV shows, some of which include “The Love Boat” (1987), “Batman” (1968), “I Love Lucy” (1953) and “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” (1952).
"Leave it to Beaver" is a late 1950s black-and-white American television sitcom about the inquisitive and often naive "Beaver" and his adventures at home, in school and around his suburban neighborhood. The show also starred Barbara Billingsley and Hugh Beaumont as Beaver's parents, June and Ward Cleaver, and Tony Dow as Beaver's brother Wally. The show attained an iconic status in the United States since the Cleavers exemplified the idealized suburban family of the mid-20th century. The show was created by writers Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher, veterans of radio and early television who found inspiration for the show's characters, plots and dialogue in the lives, experiences and conversations of their own children. "Leave It to Beaver" is one of the first primetime sitcom series written from a child's point of view. Like several television dramas and sitcoms of the late 1950s and early 1960s ("Lassie" and "My Three Sons"), "Leave It to Beaver" is a glimpse of middle-class American boyhood. In a typical episode, Beaver gets into some sort of boyish scrape, then faces his parents for reprimand and correction. Neither parent was omniscient or infallible; the series often showed the parents debating their approach to child rearing, and some episodes were built around parental gaffes. The still-popular show ended its run in 1963 primarily because it had reached its natural conclusion: In the show, Wally was about to enter college and the brotherly dynamic at the heart of the show's premise would be broken with their separation.
Contemporary commentators praise "Leave it to Beaver" with Variety having compared Beaver to Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer. The show has enjoyed a renaissance in popularity since the 1970s through off-network syndication, a reunion telemovie ("Still the Beaver" in 1983), a sequel series titled "The New Leave it to Beaver" (1985–1989) and a 1997 movie version based on the original series. Although the show never broke into the Nielsen ratings top 30 or won any awards, it placed on Time magazine's unranked 2007 list of "All-TIME 100 TV Shows."

Michael Francis "Mick" Foley (born June 7th, 1965) is an American actor, author, retired professional wrestler and color commentator. He is currently signed to WWE. Foley worked for many wrestling promotions, including the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), as well as numerous promotions in Japan. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of WWE, and participated in the main event of WrestleMania in 1999 and 2000 (as a special guest referee in the former). He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2013.
Foley has wrestled under his real name and various personas. His main persona during his time in WCW and ECW from 1991 to 1996 was Cactus Jack, a bloodthirsty and uncompromisingly physical brawler who often wrestled with sharp and/or solid metallic objects such as barbed wire, thumbtacks, or metal trash cans. When Foley got to the WWF in 1996, he debuted the persona known as Mankind, a masked, mentally deranged loner who stuffed a smelly gym sock in his opponents' mouths and spent his spare time dwelling in boiler rooms. Foley later debuted Dude Love, a relaxed, fun-loving, jive-talking, tie-dyed shirt wearing hippie. These personas were known as the "Three Faces of Foley," and Cactus Jack made his debut in the WWF in 1997. He is a four-time world champion (three WWF Championships and one TNA World Heavyweight Championship), an 11-time world tag team champion (eight WWF Tag Team Championships, two ECW World Tag Team Championships and one WCW World Tag Team Championship), a one-time TNA Legends Champion, and the inaugural WWF Hardcore Champion. Foley's dedicated and physical style of wrestling led him to often participate in violent and brutal matches that involved him taking dangerous bumps and putting his body through a considerable physical toll, and would sometimes cause him or his opponents to bleed copiously, earning him the moniker "The Hardcore Legend"

MICHAEL BERRYMAN (born September 4th, 1948) is an iconic American actor who was born with Hypohidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia, a rare condition characterised by the absence of sweat glands, hair and fingernails. His unusual physical appearance, though, allowed him to make a career out of portraying characters like mutant bikers, evil undertakers, monsters and other frightening characters in horror and B movies starting in the late 1970s. To Berryman's credit, he managed to develop upon his creepy "Pluto" character -- first seen in the uncompromising Wes Craven horror film "The Hills Have Eyes" (1977) -- which has turned up in numerous sci-fi and fantasy movies including "My Science Project" (1985), "Weird Science" (1985), "Armed Response" (1986) and "Evil Spirits" (1990). WILLIAM FORSYTHE (born June 7th, 1955) is a dynamically entertaining actor with piercing eyes and a superb talent for playing some truly unlikable and downright nasty characters that dominate the films in which he appears. If you're cast as the hero against Forsythe's villain, then you have your work cut out for you, as Forsthye's raw energy and menace on screen is second to none. He started out in a few minor film roles and guest appearances in high-rated TV shows including "CHiPs" (1977), "Hill Street Blues" (1981) and "T.J. Hooker" (1982). He quickly moved into high-quality feature films, including playing a small-time hoodlum in "Once Upon a Time in America" (1984), a hilariously funny performance as a bumbling jail escapee alongside John Goodman in the knockout "Raising Arizona" (1987) and as a renegade soldier in "Extreme Prejudice" (1987). The energetic Forsythe portrayed comic book villain 'Flattop' in "Dick Tracy" (1990), was foolish enough to tangle with vengeful cop Steven Seagal in the hyper-violent "Out for Justice" (1991) and locked horns with ex-NFL linebacker Brian Bosworth in the biker action film "Stone Cold" (1991). With his expertise in playing icy villains, Forsythe was perfect to portray Prohibition mobster Al Capone in the short-lived '90s revival of the classic '60s crime show, "The Untouchables" (1993), and he continued the motif of playing edgy, nefarious individuals in the thought-provoking "The Waterdance" (1992), the oily film noir piece "Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead" (1995), as real-life mobster Sammy Gravano, aka 'The Bull,' in "Gotti" (1996) and supporting another ex-NFL player's foray into film acting, when L.A. Raider Howie Long debuted in "Firestorm" (1998). Forsythe has remained perpetually busy in the new century with a plethora of feature film, telemovie and TV series appearances (where he has recently portrayed recurring characters in critically acclaimed shows like Boardwalk Empire, Justified and John Doe) and has developed a minor cult following amongst film fans for his attention grabbing dramatic skills in "City by the Sea" (2002), "The Devil's Rejects" (2005) and "Halloween" (2007).
THE DEVIL’S REJECTS is a 2005 American horror film written, produced and directed by Rob Zombie, and the sequel to his 2003 film “House of 1000 Corpses.” The film is centered on the run of three members of the psychopathic antagonist family from the previous film, now seen as villainous protagonists, with Sid Haig, Bill Moseley and Zombie's wife Sheri Moon Zombie reprising their roles, with Leslie Easterbrook replacing Karen Black as the matriarch. The film was released on July 22nd, 2005 to minor commercial success and mixed, but mostly positive reviews over its predecessor. At the time of release and in the years since, the film has garnered a cult following.
