(read description) pokedude900 2024-06-11 | We're on our 3rd run through the story now (4th if you count Nero's CCC run), this time with Archer, aka Emiya, aka Nameless. This route is unique in that there are some major differences depending on whether you're playing as a boy or a girl. I don't know the full extent of these changes, but I do know that only female Hakuno can view Nameless's 3rd SG scene (though it's still possible to get his ending with male Hakuno). Meanwhile, male Hakuno's CCC ending is the better of the two. As such, I will not be triggering the CCC route flags on this playthrough, and will run through it again as male Hakuno off-screen. Fate/Grand Order part 1909: The Closer You Are, The More You Fight pokedude900 2024-06-11 | Nanmei Yumihari Eight Dog ChroniclesTime for another high difficulty challenge quest. Bakin and Hokusai team up, but end up debuffing both your team and each other. The main gimmick of this fight is that each of them will inflict Quick and Arts resist down with their regular attacks, which can be removed by using regular attacks yourself. If a Servant gets 7 of either of these debuffs applied to them, they will be charmed for 1 turn before having them all removed.Evasion and defense are both major factors in this fight, so Sherlock Holmes is a good support choice. Alternatively, if you have access to Tametomo, his NP can negate both of these. If you're not going for a quick kill strat, try to avoid breaking both of their second bars at the same time. Bakin will remove the last defensive buff that was applied, while Hokusai will instantly charge her NP. In addition to Holmes, I tried to brute-force it with Space Ishtar and double Castoria. But if you know ahead of time that it's the Oni of Dvesha, you can easily end the fight in 3 turns (took me 4 because I overestimated Euryale's damage output). You can also clear all the oni out at once, but they'll apply buffs to the blue one, so it's not recommended.Automata FormationThere's...not much to say about this one. Easy 2 turn clear with any decent AoE Arts Caster and some good support.Now WritingAnderson starts with invincibility, a 90% defense buff, and a stun. Your side gets 5 turns of NP seal. Each turn, Anderson will summon a book, which gets rid of one of his statuses. You can either wait this out, or you can stack some crit power and take him down on turn 1. I opted for the latter. Note that you will need ignore defense and ignore invincible to pull this off. The former is pretty rare. After trying a bunch of different strategies, I came to the realization that Li Shuwen has almost no defense against being charmed. So Euryale is back to conquer another boss. Just be sure to have some for of buff removal on your team. If you have a Meltryllis with a high NP level, she can work wonders here. There are a whopping 12 Servants on BB's side (though 3 of them are BB, and one is the optional Summer Kama). You're able to slot one Servant of each main class, plus two Extra classes. And you're assisted by Ganesha. Since there are 3 Moon Cancers, it is recommended to bring a Ruler. Aside from that, bring a mix of sturdy units and some low-rarity fodder to pad out the team and collect treasure chests. This is a long fight. It starts your Master dangerously close to Lip and Melt, forcing you to spend a couple turns getting them to safety. Pretty much all of the enemy Servants will converge on the center, where most of your own Servants start. The Trash and Crush field effect is back, but so are the BB Slots, which you can use to your advantage. Take the Alter Egos out ASAP. But if you want to 100% this one, do your best to keep a couple of the other enemy Servants alive by avoiding combat with them. Meltryllis is especially dangerous because she has extra movement and a chance to remove your buffs with regular attacks. If you have bond CE Herc, use him. Aside from that, I suggest maneuvering your Servants so that Tristan remains alive. Onto the next batch of Grail Fronts! This one has a gimmick of Passionlip getting extra movement per turn. And standing on certain spaces will cause the whole party to take damage when fighting her. Fortunately she tends to hang out by BB and won't attack you as long as you keep your distance. Whittle down the rest of the enemy's forces, grab the treasure chests, then focus on BB. As always, survivors like Cu, bond CE Heracles, and Barghest are invaluable here. Most of your Servants are boxed in on one side of the map and need to move single-file to a more open area. Defeating Jinako herself would actually be relatively easy if you blitz her, but I always like to go for all the treasure chests. Getting greedy cost me some Servants early on and prolonged the fight. There are no buffs on the field, and it can be hard to collect all the treasure chests before taking out every enemy. I opted to not use every Servant slot and instead relied on fewer, stronger Servants. Barghest and Cu in particular are incredible survivors, making them perfect for this format.
