In the end, I had over 6.1 million damage and that was without an Apex Predator Heavy to help supplement damage!Note that Cayde's Retribution grants you a bonus shot from thin air and also completely refills the magazine, which is nice for DPS!

It is a long way after the Herald of Finality fight!The chest will only give you loot which you have already earned in the Raid. In my case, I got another copy of the SMG I just got!

This is great for proc'ing Solar Surge and for Argent Blade over and over, giving you a lot of damage!The damage rotation for the boss is:1) Tickle with auto-rifle to see if DPS has started2) Drop Nova Bomb (ideally powered by Spirit of Star Eater's on the Exotic Class Item)3) Use Heavy Attack on Ergo Sum4) Hold Triangle to switch to Heavy Sword5) Spam light attacks whilst watching your Wolfpack Rounds countdown6) Around 2 seconds, double tap Triangle to switch straight to Ergo Sum7) Go back to Step 3 (until end of DPS)At any point, if you're low on health, hop in the air and proc Phoenix Dive.Optionally - you can also put a Healing mod on your boots, that will proc with the Orbs of Power you will generate with Attrition Orbs.I was hitting 2.5M+ damage in a single rotation.Thank you kindly to Phinix, Kenny, Daiquiri, Player and Diehard for the run!
