How To Make Cornbread | Beardy David Beardy David 2021-01-14 | Hi friends!I'm going to be in the kitchen a lot more this year so thought I'd kick it off by showing you how I make my cornbread. I'll put down below all the ingredients and what to do, it's super simple.Also, be sure to go check out my friend Graham's channel as he is making plenty of delicious foody videos with a Disney theme! youtube.com/channel/UCQYwUJ2PHqlXKdr9WWiqktQIngredients:15g jalapeño chillies (feel free to add more if you like jalapeños)2 tablespoons cider vinegar325g coarse polenta100g plain flour1 teaspoon baking powder250ml wholemilk4 large eggs100g frozen sweetcorn (feel free to add more or use a couple of cobs instead)200g cheddar cheese2 tablespoons cottage cheeseMethod:1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 200C and grease a deep baking tray and line with greaseproof paper.2. Roughly chop jalapeños, add them to a bowl and mix with the cider vinegar.3. Add polenta, flour, baking powder, milk, eggs and a pinch of salt in to a bowl.4. Add the sweetcorn to the bowl. If you use cobs, cut off the corn (no need to cook it beforehand) and then add to the bowl.5. Crumble the cheddar in too little pieces and add to bowl along with the cottage cheese.6. Drain the cider vinegar from the jalapeños and add them to the bowl.7. Give it a really good mix (for a few minutes at least!) and then add to the deep baking tray.8. Pop in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden on top.9. Place the cornbread on to a wire rack to cool.10. Making My (Famous?) Yorkshire Puddings | Vlogmas 2020 December 17th | Beardy David Beardy David 2020-12-17 | Merry Christmas my friends and welcome to Vlogmas 2020! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy festive life's to come and take a look at my Christmassy adventures! December 17thWant to make some yorkshire puddings over the festive season? Then you've come to the right place!They're super simple to make and below are the ingredients and the oven time you'll need (other than mine! 😆).140g plain flour4 eggs200ml milk (I use semi-skinned)Sunflower/vegetable oilThyme (optional)Step by step guide -STEP 1Heat oven to 230C/fan 210C/gas 8.STEP 2Drizzle a little sunflower/vegetable oil evenly into the tins and place in the oven to heat through.STEP 3To make the batter, put 140g plain flour into a bowl and beat in 4 eggs until smooth.STEP 4Gradually add 200ml milk and carry on beating until the mix is completely lump-free. Season with a pinch of salt.If you have the time, then leave batter in fridge for an hour or if you're able to, overnight but this is not essential. I've used the batter straight after combining and still got awesome yorkies from it!STEP 5Pour the batter into a jug, then remove the hot tins from the oven.
