Compressed storage sorts and stores items for you in a smart way. If you storage is too full items get automatically transferred to shulker boxes to save space. Shulker boxes are requested only when needed so they are never wasted. The system also unloads shulker boxes automatically and reuses the empty boxes to fill items later.
It also includes all sorts of overflow protections and some manual controls which are optional and can be adapted to your user interface which is also customizable.
It's seriously awesome.

A video exploring interesting behavior related to the priorities of redstone components and their connections. I've played with it many times in the past but this time I decided to explore some more for possibilities.

This behavior seems to be *related to* what I named "double powering" and what was referred to as "extended pulses" by @ilmango in the past (afaik). The behavior is not exactly new but it's definitely interesting.

A TINY pre-sorter device capable of splitting your input into sortable (stackable) items, "unsortable" (non-stackable) items and shulker boxes (full or empty).
These kinds of items are usually treated differently in a sorting system which is why it's useful to get them separated into their respective categories.

In the end a practical example is presented with an input system capable of unloading shulker boxes and sorting everything inside it automatically, including the emptied shulker box itself!

Compressed Storage is a system that automatically sorts and moves excess items into shulker boxes once the basic storage for regular items is full. It's a way of saving space while keeping your storage room well organized and & nicely decorated in game.
The contraption is expandable and comes with many extra functionalities such as proper shulker box distribution on demand, item transfer redirection, unified overflow detection, partially full box request and more.

The ReCategorizer is a Multi-Item Sorting System (MISS) that automatically organizes your storage in Vanilla (or Fabric) Survival Minecraft so you can find your items easier in a way that makes sense.

New Features:
* Categories now support up to 54 different items.
* The inconvenient redstone balancing is not required anymore!
* Simpler control circuit! It's less than half the size of the previous MISS!
* Loading & unloading items is now done partially in parallel, which means this system is faster.
* The configuration chests are way easier to access from the back now.
* The lamp indicators now precisely indicate where items go. Also there is one indicator to tell when items have all been sorted.
* Non-stack-able items now get sorted to the "un-categorized" chests.
* Works mostly silently (you might hear rails occasionally).
* The overflow protection stops & restarts the system automatically and is individual for each slice/category.
* Curved rails, shorter paths, parallel item transfer, only 2 stops, combined with other minor changes makes this system between 40% and 65% faster than the Categorizer Reloaded on average.

It's totally customizable, from its size (number of categories) to configuration chests. Even its layout can be changed.

This item sorter was completely designed from scratch and tested in MC 1.19.3. Some of its main components were designed 3 years ago but never made public.

The storage technology design & test required tons of hours of work and most of it was a lot of fun! I would like to dedicate it to my patrons who keep motivating me with their support.

The Categorizer: Reloaded is an update to the original Categorizer Multi-Item Sorting System (MISS) Project. The core of the system has been redesigned and some features have ben optimized.

The world download includes 4 versions of the build with Wall layout and U-Shape layout. The Basic version is just the sorter itself and the Advanced version includes all the pre-filtering setup so it's capable of handling shulker boxes by unloading items from them and sorting empty shulker boxes automatically as well as non-stack-able items7.

The map also contains a bunch of modular components such as loader, unloader, item elevators, etc. so you can pick the ones you need to customize your own storage system.

This is a shulker box unloader designed to work reliably with all the chunk loading/unloading around your storage system. It can quickly unload a bunch of boxes and also split/filter out empty boxes apart from the unloaded items. It does it all!

An improved item elevator. It's easier to build than the previous version and can have items input directly inside the dropper. so now it also has room for up to 3 input hoppers at the bottom!

This design will continually produce potions until your storage is full. It also senses when you take potions out of it and starts producing automatically to compensate. The units are tile-able.
I added features suchas : flat wall look, blaze powder storage and the water bottle generator which solves the problem of storing and distributing water bottles to all the brewing machines.

ASMR is the first Railway System capable of transporting player from anywhere to anywhere by simply selecting a destination and letting the system find routes automatically with no chunk loading limitations.

I have wanted a system like this for a long time now and I have built previous systems as proof of concept. I needed a rudimentary network system to communicate information as the player moves and changes directions as well as data storage to deal with the issue of unloaded chunks.
Besides it I wanted to system to look as seamless as possible, easy to use, build and configure so players can adapt the modules and let the railway grow on demand with ease.
The system, as is, is mostly adequate for single-player worlds but it can be practical in multi-player as well with a few rules. I have more ideas to improve the system but for now I'm pretty happy with the results and ready to gather some feedback from other players.

Sorry for the CHOPPY/laggy video! I re-recorded it from scratch twice (also without shaders) and couldn't find a solution. I'll fix it when I can.

Finally managed to make 7-segment displays there are perfectly tile-able horizontally as well as decently tile-able vertically with a gap of 3 blocks in between.

This version is 1 block shorter than the previous one so I decided to show some examples of how to hook them up to binary inputs as well as simple counters and even make a digital clock out of them.

Throw all your items inside this system and let it send stackable items to your sorting system, unload your shulker boxes automatically and send the empty ones to a separate storage and also send your tools, armor, etc. to yet another separate storage!

It operates silently (except when breaking empty shulker boxes!) at hopper speed and self manages so it never overflows. Also no items get trapped inside the filter, they are 100% delivered.

Thrown everything inside your input chests and let this simple item splitter automatically pipe them through three different channels:
1. Regular items that stack and can be automatically by your sorter (hopefully that latest version of The Categorizer!)

2. Shulker boxes. Empty or full they can be processed by a separate shulker box unloading system. Ex: youtube.com/watch?v=Vp17vDuMHAQ

3. Items that won't stack but are not shulker boxes either, such as tools, armor, filled buckets or bottles (potions), enchanted books, totems, etc.

It's silent and fast, just make sure to not let the output pipes overflow!

Please watch the original tutorial (youtube.com/watch?v=2pEZbF2pWqY) + Fix + Upgrade before adapting you system AND check the video description on those videos!

Redstone changed so I needed to change this sorting system in respect to all the people who have already built it in survival and want to play on 1.16 with their organizer systems still working.

This new fix is awesome: It's fast, compact, more stable and makes the whole process faster. This video also hints at what could be an interesting speed upgrade to your current sorting system.

Q: Does it work in Bedrock Edition ?
A: No, but some people adapted it, see comments.

Q: What versions/Editions does it work on ?
A: Java Edition from 1.12 up to 1.15.2. There is a fix for the MC 1.16+ though (link above).

Q: Minecart won't pick up/give back items.
A: It doesn't work on Forge (mods) or servers with plug-ins (Spigot, etc.) *only* Vanilla. Might work on Paper.

Q: Minecart won't go when I put just a few items.
A: You need an input system, watch the Fix/Upgrade videos (links above) .

Q: The non-stackable items inside the Minecart are out of order (First slot not free)
A: Watch the Fix video (also mentioned in the tutorial itself).

Q: Some Items go to the end of the sorter line instead of where I configured them to go!

Most people benefit from watching the tutorial twice (there are too many details!) and don't skip parts, I get too many questions about things I have already mentioned in the video!

In any case make sure all your dropper latches have a single item inside them and that the detector rails used as reset lines are powering every comparator at the bottom and the rails are all going in the correct direction. Good luck!

I tried to include as many features as possible in this update:

1. Fix for Big Systems: items won't fall in the wrong places for big systems anymore.
2. Minecart Shortcut System: Minecart takes shorter paths whenever possible (33% faster on average)
3. Item Shortcut System: Full stacks of items are delivered every time. (up to 50% faster)
4. Item Disposal & Overflow indicator: Throws excess items away and halts the system until the player finds room for more items.
