Rock Band 3 customs on Xenia JimboEatsKFC 2022-06-13 | TU1 customs.....After a bit of work I actually got a custom to load into the game. DLC won't load from the RB3 source folder however they will if you put them on the RB2 or RB1 folder. I also had some issues with the RBN source showing up as song "demos" which was a thing back when RBN was around however it seems that is some sort of DRM that is not being cracked by the emulator but this issue could be fixed by changing the sources of the customs to "rb1_dlc" or "rb2_dlc" and so on.I wasn't able to get TU5 to work, maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Rock Band 3 Xenia (May 20th Canary Build) JimboEatsKFC 2022-05-22 | So it's been a while since I've seen anybody post any progress on how Rock Band 3 runs on xenia currently so here you go.The game needs a patch in order for it to boot that requires you to use xenia canary. More info here: [github.com/xenia-canary/game-patches]Game runs really well however it doesn't support any DLC yet or other peripherals that aren't guitar or drums. My rock band 3 keyboard does show up as a keyboard on xenia however anything unique to the controller like they actual keys or overdrive button don't work but the d-pad and face buttons do.The characters have the same issue on rpcs3 when you don't enable "Write Color Buffers" on the GPU settings, maybe xenia has a similar option but I haven't found it?(Oh yeah this was also recorded on TU1, I didn't bother updating it to TU4 or 5)
Rock Band 4 on PC you say? JimboEatsKFC 2022-03-11 | Rock Band VR still has the regular RB4 guitar highway from the game inside it's game files and it can be loaded in.As you can see from the video the highway doesn't load up correctly. It's missing the sustain and beat marker textures, also all of the HUD elements are missing as well however the fact that is running on PC is really bizarre since RB4 was supposed to come out on PC but it never came to be because the game failed to reach it's kickstarter goal to fund the port.
