Making BLACKFYRE from House of the Dragon! King Viserys Targaryens Sword The Duke of Craft 2022-08-21 | This is my rendition of the sword Blackfyre from the new Game of Thrones spin-off series House of the Dragon. Blackfyre is the sword which was passed down from one Targaryen king to the next for generations until it was lost during the Blackfyre Rebellion.This replica was created before the series premiere, so I made it with very limited reference material and it's therefore not 100% screen accurate. I also recognize it should be made of Valyrian steel (damascus pattern). My best idea for creating this pattern was a hyrdo dip, but I was unable to procure the film in time for this video.
