Great Northern Adventure - Part 10 | Outback Queensland Nerb1 2022-12-04 | Day 16, 17 and 18 all fit into this episode. Although it is highway miles, we still get to see quite a bit. Mainly wildlife. Great Northern Adventure - Part 6 | Finke River 4wd Route Nerb1 2022-09-11 | On day 11 we took on the Finke River 4wd Route. This track was very scenic and a magnificent ride... but pushing through it in half a day was going to test us. I was originally going to put day 11 and 12 in this one video, but there was so much footage from this track that I ended up with 40 minutes just for day 11. I know a few people have asked how long it takes to edit these. For this episode, I had 4.5 hours of helmet camera footage, plus a 15 minute drone clip, plus about an hour of Nuno and Oli's footage. Basically I watch it all, cutting out as much as i can in the first pass, then do the edits. Im a bit of a lazy editor, so there is not usually anything fancy. So lets say 7 hours of footage watched twice plus a bit. Total 15 hours work for a 40 minute video. We have Copley, Farina, Maree and the amazing Lake Eyre. I have seen this turn off to Lake Eyre (Halligan Bay) a few times, and have been itching to see it... and this trip saw it happen. I was not disappointed. Surprisingly, this desolate landscape, 15m below sea level, was one of the trip highlights for me. No real camping footage again as there wasnt much happening. This kit is for removing the stock low fender and replacing it with a dirt-oriented fender so that mud and sticks become less of a problem on the trail.The kit includes:- Mounting bracket and fasteners- Braided brake lines by Hel Performance - au.helperformance.com- 3D printed hose guides and cover plates.The kit uses many fasteners from the original low fender. The worst job on the T7 Nerb1 2022-04-03 | Its time to change the plugs.... oh boy, was I in for a shock. This is no easy feat. I implemented the well known "plastic tray removal" mod.... You need to do it just to access the plugs, but it is not a magical fix. Oh, and if youre going to say "im not buying a T7 because the plugs are hard to change", then I suggest you give up on going outside. Just curl up in the corner of your bedroom and stay safe! A fibreglass heatshield for an exhaust? Nerb1 2022-01-13 | I have found that heat-wrap gets trashed when out in the bush. Sticks and stones tear the material and it eventually comes apart. A highlight for me was the Bryce Gorge walk in the Victorian highplains north of Licola. 8km long, two waterfalls and some Guys hut.

Torque and wrenches | School lesson? Nerb1 2021-09-06 | After my last video, a TON of people questioned the use of the head stem ring nut tool. People thought that using a torque wrench on an extension increased the torque applied to the nut. This CAN happen, but the way I held the torque wrench does not cause increased torque. Some people linked me videos of how this happens, but none of them explain where the additional torque comes from and how to avoid it.Hopefully this video explains it as I show a sketch, a spacegass model and a physical test to prove my point.NO comments were taken negatively.
