Sometimes the meaning of it will emerge only with time. Making journals and journaling is a powerful tool to reveal our stories in my experience and I’m glad to be able to give a contribution to spreading the voice. “Words Are Windows (or They’re Walls) I feel so sentenced by your words, I feel so judged and sent away, Before I go I’ve got to know, Is that what you mean to say? Before I rise to my defense, Before I speak in hurt or fear, Before I build that wall of words, Tell me, did I really hear? Words are windows, or they’re walls, They sentence us, or set us free. When I speak and when I hear, Let the love light shine through me.
There are things I need to say, Things that mean so much to me, If my words don’t make me clear, Will you help me to be free? If I seemed to put you down, If you felt I didn’t care, Try to listen through my words, To the feelings that we share. -–Ruth Bebermeyer Marshall B. Rosenberg”

material list: ***use what you have*** this is some indication that can be useful:
📌washi tape with flowers or flowers die cuts from magazines or digitals (the one that I’m using in it has already the shape of a wing *and this inspired me* and it matched with the size of a butterfly that I have, but you can use every butterfly that you can have/find plus some flowers cut from a magazine for example)
📌paper butterfly (I’m using a handmade butterfly made with handmade paper made by me and a die cut/embossing folder from Tim Holtz, mine is very old, but if you search “butterflies Tim Holtz” I’m sure you can find something great) or you can use: paper butterflies from craft stores (Michael’s in USA? Dollar thrre?) from digital images ( for example vcc_7 Vintage Farfalle Clip Art II Immagini Digitali Scrapbooking Junk Journal Forniture Carta Craft Happy Mail PNG Antique Ephemera Scraps
or from cutting images fro magazine, for example Daphne’s Diary: daphnesdiary.com/shop
📌scraps: I have a piece from Tim Holtza collection, a dictionary page and a piece of cardstock (all in neutral colors, because it’s a great contrast with my white butterfly) but feel free to use papers in the colors that you like, so your piece will be more yours and unique ;)
📌glue stick or stapler or fabri tac/flashbond (what you have or what you prefer will work just fine)
📌gesso: in this case is great something fluid like Liquitex gesso, because it’s more “transparent” and it’s great for softening the edges of the tape

welcome to my channel! In today’s video I share with you how to make a journal with a “fortune teller” theme! I made the cover removable in a traveler’s style, so you can easily refill your journal or move your page as you like
it’s almost naked because I imagine you decorating it while journaling about your reading, your decks, your tracks list etc.
you can also use it as a diary, memory keeper, living journal…
I hope you like it! Let me know in the comments, comments are love and they are my muse😘 hugs, Francesca _____________________________
