**May be used on any smooth surface furniture, marble, tile, refrigerators, cabinets, chrome, fixtures - you name it!**
*Do not apply to flat painted surfaces*
Step 1: Shake well before using
Step 2: The surface should be dry and clean. Previously waxed and oiled polished surfaces can cause smudging because of build up. In that case, clean the surface with Wax Wash Remover or a mild detergent before applying OZ Cream Polish.
Step 3: Pour a small quantity of OZ Polish on a clean, soft, lint-free cloth.
Step 4: Apply the polish to the surface.
Step 5: Dry with a clean, soft, absorbent cloth. OZ does not require excessive rubbing - the surface brightens immediately and will not show finger marks.
Step 1: Remove excess splintering from around the damaged area with an old credit card.
Step 2: Pick the color of Fill Stick that is closest to the finish of your furniture. When in doubt, choosing a color that is a little too dark will look better than choosing a color that is too light.
Step 3: Briskly rub the Fill Stick over the damaged area - applying pressure as your rub. Once the damage in filled, cease the application.
Step 4: Scrape away excess material with an old credit card, and buff the repair with a paper towel or a clean cloth.
Step 1: Identify the color closest to that of the repair - noting that it is better to go darker than light.
Step 2: Once desired color is chosen, use a sharp knife to cut off a section of the Epoxy Putty that is around the same volume as the area to be filled.
**Note: replace the aluminum tab back onto the Epoxy Putty stick to ensure that the product does not become hard**
Step 3: Knead the putty until a uniform color is achieved. The working life of the Epoxy Putty is around 6 minutes after mixing.
Step 4: Push the Epoxy into the damaged area until the damage is not exposed anymore. Wet your fingers with tap water to prevent the Epoxy from sticking.
*Note: In order to know when the Epoxy Putty has cured, keep a small amount that is left over from the repair. Once it has cured, your repair has also cured.*
Step 1: Shake lacquer well before each application.
Step 2: Hold the lacquer about 12 to 14 inches away from the brass item.
Step 3: Begin to spray the lacquer before you reach the item - making sure long, slow strokes are used to achieve an even coating.
Step 4: Once the item becomes tacky, repeat steps 1-3 until satisfied with how the item looks.
**Make sure to apply in a well ventilated area with a cloth or towel underneath the item you are applying the Lacquer for Brass to in order to protect surrounding possessions.**
Leather Scratch Remover - http://www.mohawkconsumerproducts.com...Fix Small Chips or Gouges in Wood With Fill SticksMohawk Consumer Products2014-08-21 | These can be purchased on Amazon in a wide variety of colors: http://amzn.to/1HVKqri
A Behlen soft Fill Stick demonstrated on a small chip located on the leg of a table. A rub-on putty and wax stick that fixes and eliminates scars, scratches, gouges, and abrasions on furniture, picture frames, leather, plastics and paneling. Accepts any type of top coat. Note: Colors are approximate representations of actual colors using modern process techniques. Variations may occur.
Step 1 Use the Behlen Leveler Card or an old charge card or a plastic putty knife to remove any loose splinters in the area to be filled, especially splinters that rise above the plane of the surface.
Step 2 Pick the color of Fill Stick that is closest to the finish on your furniture. If there is no exact match, a color that is a little too dark will look better than a color that is too light.
Step 3 Briskly rub the end of the Fill Stick over the damage, applying pressure as you rub. Stop the application when the damage is filled.
Step 4 Scrape away the excess Fill Stick material with the Leveler Card, old credit card or a plastic putty knife. Angle the card in the direction you are scraping. Scrape until the fill is even with the wood.
Step 5 Excess wax around the repair area will appear shiny. Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe away the excess wax around the edge of the fill. Be careful not to wipe the repair.Guitar Finishing with Aerosols How-To SummaryMohawk Consumer Products2014-08-21 | Instructions on finishing a guitar with aerosols. Other stains that can be removed include grease, engine grime, grass stains, food stains, shoe scuffs, lipstick, perspiration and blood can also be removed.
Always test in an inconspicuous area before using.
Leather or Vinyl
Please note: Ink Remover is most effective on recent (within 3 to 5 days) ink stains.
Step 1 Pre-clean the area with Leather Cleaner or with a Leather Clean and Renew Wipe.
Step 2 Remove the cap from the Ink Remover tube and push the tube from the bottom to reveal about ¼" of the stick.
Step 3 Rub the Ink Remover stick directly onto the stain, making sure to cover the entire mark. Applying the stick from various directions helps get the remover down into the texture of the leather. An application from just one direction could leave voids. Allow the remover to do the work. Don't scrub hard because scrubbing could cause color loss. You will see the ink dissolving as you rub the stick over it. As the stain transfers to the ink stick, wipe off the end of the stick with a tissue or a clean cloth.
Step 4 When it looks like the ink is dissolved, wash away the residue with Leather Cleaner (or a wipe). Dry the area with a tissue or a clean white cloth. Do not use a colored cloth because color could be transferred to the leather.
Step 5 Most often, ink stains require 2 or 3 applications of Ink Remover to totally remove the ink. Repeat steps 3 and 4 a time or two more.
Step 6 If the stain still persists or is hard to get out of the grain of the leather, reapply the Ink Remover. Dip a soft bristled brush (such as a tooth brush) into distilled water, and use the brush to gently scrub the stain.
Step 7 Wash away the residue with Leather Cleaner (or a wipe). Dry the area with a tissue or a clean cloth. Scrubbing with a brush may be repeated as needed.
Step 8 Protect the area from spills and soiling by applying Leather Protector with a clean cloth or by using Leather Protector Wipes.How-To Maintain, Clean and Protect Your LeatherMohawk Consumer Products2014-08-21 | Instructions for using the Mohawk Leather Care Kit.

Scratch Remover is a simple solution for healing and blending surface scratches or rubs on natural leathers. It helps restore the surface color as well as blend the damage. It is very effective on fingernail scratches in aniline leather. For some leathers, Mohawk Pull-Up Revive may provide the best solution. Scratch Remover is not intended for pigmented or nubuck leathers.
Note: Leather Scratch Remover restores the color to surface scratches in aniline and pull up leathers. It will not work on pigmented (top coated) leather. Do not use on nubuck or suede. Scratch Remover will harm nubuck and suede.
Step 1 Pre-test Leather Scratch Remover in an inconspicuous area to be sure there is no color loss. It is not unusual for a small amount of color to transfer to the cloth, but the spot to be repaired should not show as a light spot.
Step 2 Apply a small amount of Scratch Remover to the cloth.
Step 3 Use the cloth to rub the Scratch Remover over the scratched area. Generally, it's best to rub in a circular motion. Continue until the scratch is blended. Massaging may be needed on deep scratches or if the repair area gets darker. You may see a little color transferred to the cloth. This is normal.
Step 4 Allow the spot to dry. You may use a hair dryer to force the drying.
Step 5 Leather should always have a coat of Leather Protector to avoid permanent staining from spills and to promote easier cleaning in the future. The repaired area will need a new application of protector. Use Leather Protector Wipes or Leather Protector to apply a new coat of Protector.
Step 7 Allow the Protector to dry for about an hour before using the furniture. Maximum protection is achieved after 24 hours of drying. How To Clean Microfiber Furniture and Remove Stains DIYMohawk Consumer Products2014-08-21 | Instructions for using Mohawk Microfiber Cleaner.

Lubricates wood, metal, or plastic. Due to its semi-paste consistency, the lubrications last much longer than other forms of lubricants. Drawers, window, and doors work easier with an application of Slideez™. It prevents binding of all moving parts. It is also good for starting screws. It is an excellent rust preventative for tools used in the garden and metal objects in storage. This product will not stain or cake and is non-flammable. It contains no silicones.
Note:
Slideez™ Lubricant lubricates wood, metal or plastic. It is a semi-paste that stays in place and lasts longer than other forms of lubricants.
Step 1 Dip the applicator into the Slideez™ in order to get the lubricant paste onto the applicator.
Step 2 Sticking drawers with wood runners:
Use the applicator to apply Slideez™ to the bottom runners under the drawer. Usually there are runners on each side of the bottom and one in the center. If the drawer can be pulled out, the application will be easier. In that case, Slideez™ can also be placed on the brace that holds the drawer up.
Sticking drawers with metal slides:
Use the applicator to apply Slideez™ to the metal slides whether under the drawer or on the sides of the drawer. If the drawer can be pulled out, the application will be easier.
Sticking windows: Use the applicator (in some cases a brush works better as an applicator than a spatula) to apply Slideez™ to the frame of the window where the sash slides up and down. Depending on the design of the window, it is necessary to apply Slideez™ sparingly so as not to create so much lubrication that the window will not stay up in the open position. This is not a problem with windows that have weights within the frame to counterbalance the sash. It can be a problem on windows that rely on pressure from plastic runners to hold the sash in place.
Sticking vertical blinds: Use the applicator (in some cases a brush works better as an applicator than a spatula) to apply Slideez™ to the metal runners that hold the blinds at the top of the window.
Step 3 If there is excess Slideez™ in any of the scenarios above, use the cloth to remove unwanted lubricant. How To Clean Smears, Smudges and Prints While Protecting SurfaceMohawk Consumer Products2014-08-21 | Instructions for using Mohawk Classic Care Polish.

Epoxy Putty Sticks enable you to restore, rebuild and repair all kinds of wood and other hard surfaces. It is easy to use, makes durable repairs that are permanent repairs. It may be drilled, sanded, stained or painted. Note: Colors are approximate representations of actual colors using modern process techniques. Variations may occur.
Note:
Epoxy Putty is a great filler because it is hard, durable, and it sticks in place very well. It can be used on unfinished wood or finished wood.
Choose the correct color Epoxy Putty Stick for your project:
Oak/Light Walnut B743-1530 Cherry B743-1550 Natural Maple B743-1580
Other supplies needed:
Lacquer for Brass (optional) B103-0500
Pocket knife or utility knife
Leveler card B898-0002 expired credit card or plastic putty knife
Liquid soap (such as dishwashing liquid) - for finished wood - lacquer thinner for unfinished
Tap water
Lacquer thinner - for unfinished wood
Coloring medium (such as a Touch Up Marker)
Clear Lacquer Aerosol (Optional) *
Rubber or vinyl gloves **
Clean absorbent cloth
Waterproof sandpaper 800 grit **
4/0 steel wool (optional) **
* Should be the same sheen as your furniture. Use only if you are comfortable with spraying lacquer.
** Available at most hardware stores
Step 1 Mix a small amount of liquid soap into about 2 ounces of water. Keep the soapy mixture ready near where you are making the repair.
Step 2 Pick the Epoxy Stick that is closest in color to the finish you are repairing.
Step 3 Use the Leveler Card, an old charge card, or a plastic putty knife to remove any part of the damage that protrudes higher than the surface of the wood.
Step 4 Use a knife to cut off a section of the Epoxy Stick that is about the same volume as the area to be filled. Cut parallel to the end of the stick. A section too large will not cause a problem. A section too small will result in the need for a second filling.
Step 5 Use your hands (rubber or vinyl gloves are suggested) or a putty knife to knead the Epoxy Stick that you have cut off until the color is uniform. If the color is marbleized, more kneading is required. The working life of the Epoxy is about 6 minutes after mixing.
Step 6 Push the mixed Epoxy into the damage until none of the damage is exposed. Wetting your fingers (or the gloves) with tap water will keep the Epoxy from sticking to them.
Step 7 For finished wood: Dip your finger into the soapy mixture and distribute it over the Epoxy in the damage.
For unfinished wood: Apply lacquer thinner and distribute it over the Epoxy in the damage.
Step 8 Use the Leveler Card, credit card, or plastic putty knife to shape the Epoxy by pulling off the excess away from the damage. Repeat this procedure until the Epoxy is level with the surface of the wood. Continually redistribute the soapy mixture (or add more lacquer thinner for unfinished wood) as you work. If your damage is rounded, you'll have to pull the card according to the contour of the curve so the filler will be the correct shape. If your damage is flat, simply pull the card over the damage from the most advantageous direction until the filler is flat and level with the surface.
Step 9 If wet, dry the area with the cloth being careful not to distort the curing Epoxy fill.
Step 10 Allow the filled area to harden for at least 20 minutes.
Step 11 If you are filling unfinished wood that needs to be stained, sand with 180 grit aluminum oxide sandpaper, especially since sanding increases stainability. If, as in our case, you are working on finished wood, sand with 800 grit waterproof sandpaper, being careful not to break through the finish into the color. Use the soapy mixture as a lubricant for the sandpaper.
Step 12 Use a properly colored Touch Up Marker (as offered on this website) to color over the filled area or the area may be stained.
Step 13 (optional) You may choose to top coat the damage. Whatever you decided to do, try it first in an inconspicuous area to be sure there are no bad reactions. You will have to make a determination as to what finish is appropriate. You may decide to brush on a varnish. If you are comfortable with spraying lacquer from an aerosol, you may be able to spray the damaged area with clear lacquer. Lacquer for Brass is available on this website and is suitable for use on wood as well as brass, as long as the wood has a fairly shiny finish. If the finish is flat, Lacquer for Brass will be too shiny. After the lacquer dries, use a pad of 4/0 steel wool to lower the sheen. Flatter lacquer aerosol finishes are available at many hardware stores. If you are not comfortable with spraying lacquer, we suggest that you do not perform this step. How To Tighten Loose Wooden Joints Professionally DIYMohawk Consumer Products2014-08-21 | Describes how to use Behlen Swel Lock to tighten loose wooden joints.

Note:
Swel-Lock™ Wood Sweller is designed to tighten loose chair rungs, dowel and mortise joints, hammer and axe handles, wooden handled chisels and other types of socket joints when one member is wooden. It soaks into wood causing it to swell in size.
Step 1 Take the problem joint apart if possible. If not, loosen the problem joint as much as possible. Position the furniture to be repaired such that the loose joint is below the entry point of the rung or such that the mortised piece is below the entry point of the tenoned piece. In other words, position the loose joint so that the applied Swel-Lock will run down into that joint.
Step 2 Apply Swel-Lock liberally on the wood parts. Put the joint back together and press tightly. If the joint will not come apart, apply Swel-Lock around the joint and allow it to run into said joint. Apply Swel-Lock until the parts or the joint is saturated. Use the cloth to wipe away any Swel-Lock that has not gone into the joint or has seeped out.
Step 3 Allow the joint to dry. The dry time depends on the depth of the joint, the size of the joint, and the looseness of the joint. One to three hours is about the average dry time. Some joints take longer.
Step 4 Test the joint for stability. If it is still loose, repeat steps 1 to 3.How To Fill Nail Holes, Miter Joints and Cabinet Seams DIYMohawk Consumer Products2014-08-21 | Demonstration of using Mohawk Patchal Putty to repair nail holes, seams, or small defects in wood.

Will keep your brass and brass plated metal surfaces brillant. Keeps metal bright and new looking. Prevents tarnishing, protects. It is a water clear, non-yellowing and durable coating. Adhesion is excellent to metal surfaces.
Directions
Note:
As the name suggests, this is a lacquer for metals such as brass. The lacquer contains an anti-tarnish additive to keep metals bright, clean and looking new longer.
Step 1 Make sure the parts to be sprayed are clean.
Step 2 Shake the can vigorously for at least one minute after the mixing ball rattles to ensure that the lacquer is mixed properly and to prevent clogging.
Step 3 To avoid overspray, if the part to be sprayed is attached to a piece of furniture such as brass drawer handles or hinges, remove the part before spraying.
Step 4 To spray, point the opening of the spray button toward the object, holding the can 12 to 14 inches away from surface. Then press the spray button firmly. Use steady even strokes while spraying. Several thin coats will result in a better finish than one heavy coat.
Step 5 Allow the coating to become tacky between coats.
Step 6 Generally 3 light coats are plenty for coating a metal part.
Step 7 When the can is empty, discard the can in a trash pick-up. DO NOT place it in a home compactor and do not burn it.How To Protect Furniture/Any Textile From Stains DIYMohawk Consumer Products2014-08-21 | Instructions on how to use Mohawk Fabric Guard Fabric Treatment.
