Just how big is a moose? Bigger than most people imagine. An adult woodland bull stands about six and a half feet at the shoulder, stretches nine feet in length, and can weigh well over 1,000 pounds. Even a cow, usually 200 to 300 pounds lighter, is a genuinely massive animal.
