In this video, I take a deep look at Grand Theft Auto: Trespasser, a total conversion mod for GTA: San Andreas that aims to recreate the story of the 1998 cult classic Jurassic Park: Trespasser.
Unlike the original game featuring Anne, this mod stars a male protagonist. I spend the first half of the video navigating the ModDB page and the game's menu to get everything running while reading the descriptions and watching the trailers. The game is a unique mix where the HUD is in English, but the voice acting remains in Spanish.
I spent over an hour exploring the starting location—a massive cargo ship filled with human crew members and caged dinosaurs, including a T-Rex, a Stegosaurus, and a Triceratops. I ran into some classic GTA physics bugs (where boxes started attacking me!) and struggled to find a way off the ship. Because the mod currently lacks a save system, the stakes are high, but the progress is difficult!

The mod is built using the GTA: San Andreas Engine, but it isn't requiring the original game to run, it's like replacing the original game, so if you download this mod you get it ready to play but you do not get the GTA: San Andreas game, I tried running the included GTA: San Andreas .exe-files and they just ended up starting the mod, so it's like a stand-alone game/mod at this point.
