Elegoo turned up at Formnext 2025 with an entire bench full of new hardware, and in this video I take you through the new Elegoo lineup, including the Jupiter 2, the Carbon 2, and their massive new Giant Mercury Wash machine. These were all teased months ago, but this is the first time we’ve been able to take a proper look at them in person, get some real details, and talk directly with Elegoo about what’s actually coming in 2025.
We start with the Elegoo Carbon 2 – a machine that looks similar to the original Centauri Carbon but includes several important upgrades. We cover the improved cooling system, the new glass door, the “smart temperature control” approach using the bed to heat the chamber, the higher 400°C nozzle limit, and the most interesting thing of all: Elegoo’s open-source RFID filament system. This could be a big deal if they really open it up to other manufacturers.
Next we take a proper look at the Elegoo Jupiter 2, a large-format resin 3D printer featuring a 16K display, redesigned build plate, improved resin handling, and built-in heating. Anyone who prints big resin models will immediately understand why these refinements matter. The build plate alone fixes one of the longest-running frustrations with the previous Jupiter model. We go through the features they confirmed, the ones they dodged, and the ones I’ll update as soon as I confirm the light source (COB vs LED matrix).

Where is the Elegoo Saturn 5?
Where is the Elegoo Mars 6?
So I ask them directly. Elegoo confirms the Mars 6 and Saturn 5 are not at Formnext this year, but they are expected next year, with development already underway.
