Her role as Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” made the 16 year old Judy Garland into an overnight star. The title song “Over the Rainbow” becomes the song of her life and a hymn representing humanity’s search for a carefree place. During her career, Judy Garland makes 32 movies and 30 TV shows, appears 500 times on the radio, gives more than 1100 concerts, publishes over 100 singles and a dozen albums, wins an Oscar and is nominated for one twice, two Golden Globes, five Grammys and a Tony.
