Joker: Folie à Deux is the latest film from DC Studios and is the last film before James Gunn's DCU kicks off with Superman: Legacy. The movie was developed alongside some of the DCEU films during Warner Bros.' previous regime. This Joker sequel centers on Arthur Fleck and a new iteration of Harley Quinn, incorporating musical elements. It takes a different approach in adapting aspects of the Batman mythos from DC Comics. Unfortunately, the film falls flat as a sequel, suffering from poor pacing, too many unnecessary elements, and the regression of Arthur Fleck's character.
