Avalon's Witchy Reading Challenge is a way in which book club members can remain active and engaged. This reading challenge is designed to encourage you to explore different genres and authors while incorporating some witchy themes and elements.
To participate in this challenge, you'll need to complete the following prompts:
🔮 Read a book with a magical or supernatural element - This can be anything from a fantasy novel to a horror story, as long as it features magic, witches, ghosts, or other supernatural elements.
🔮 Read a book by an author with a mystical or witchy name - Look for authors with names that evoke a sense of magic or mystery, such as Cassandra Clare, Neil Gaiman, or Alice Hoffman.
🔮 Read a book that takes place in a mystical or enchanted setting - Choose a book that is set in a place that feels otherworldly, such as a haunted house, a magical forest, or a secret coven.
🔮 Read a book with a witchy protagonist - Look for books with strong female characters who practice magic or have witchy powers, such as "Practical Magic" by Alice Hoffman or "Witches of East End" by Melissa de la Cruz.
🔮 Read a book that teaches you something about witchcraft or the occult - This could be a non-fiction book about witchcraft or the history of the occult, or a work of fiction that incorporates elements of real-world magic and witchcraft.

To make this challenge even more fun and witchy, you could create a special reading space for yourself, decorate your bookshelves with crystals and candles, or brew a cup of herbal tea to enjoy while you read.
