Joby Aviation just made history with the first-ever electric air taxi flights across New York City.

In this video, watch Joby’s eVTOL aircraft fly between John F. Kennedy International Airport and Manhattan heliports as the company demonstrates what could become the future of transportation in NYC. The quiet, all-electric aircraft completed flights connecting JFK, Downtown Manhattan, and Midtown in under 10 minutes.

The flights are part of Joby Aviation’s push toward launching commercial electric air taxi service in partnership with Uber, Delta Air Lines, and Blade Air Mobility.
