Jiri Prochazka Bails On Championship Due To Shoulder Injury..
Welcome back to Fightopia ,UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka has vacated his 205-pound championship after suffering a severe shoulder injury, UFC president Dana White told ESPN on Wednesday. Prochazka (29-3-1), 30, was scheduled to defend his title against Glover Teixeira in the main event of UFC 282 on Dec. 10 in Las Vegas.
Jiri Prochazka has been tested by USADA more than any other UFC fighter in 2022. Prochazka has been tested a whopping 61 times this year. “Yeah, it’s a little bit annoying,” Prochazka told ESPN of his constant USADA visits. “But if it’s the price to be the champion, I will pay that.”. He added “[It’s been] more than 50 times, I don’t know. I don’t count that.”
